‘Bridget Jones 3′ CONFIRMED!

I don’t know if I think this is good – or bad news. I absolutely adored the first Bridget Jones – but the second one was a nightmare – ala ‘Sex and the City 2′.

Then I read this tidbit from EW – and I’m thinking a third movie is BAD news.

It’s finally time to re-open the diary: Bridget Jones is returning to the big screen.

EW has confirmed exclusively that Working Title Films, the production company responsible for the first movie released in 2001 and the second one dubbed The Edge of Reason in 2004, is moving ahead with a third installment. Based at Universal, Working Title has been mulling a sequel since 2009.

No other details were available, but last year, Bridget costar Colin Firth, who plays lovable Mark Darcy, told EW’s Dave Karger some details about a possible plot. “I can tell you that Bridget and Mark can’t have children, I think that’s the way it goes on,” Firth told Karger, who was reporting for Access Hollywood. “So then she makes the huge mistake of going back to Daniel Cleaver [Hugh Grant's character] for long enough to get pregnant. And I think he dumps her, and she’s left stranded, and guess who comes back to rescue her?”

The movies are based on Helen Fielding’s novel of the same name and starred Renee Zellweger as Bridget. The first film was an international hit, taking in a reported $281 million. The second was crucified by the critics but still raked in $262 million worldwide.

Earlier this year, the London Evening Standard reported that Fielding had begun writing the third installment of the best-selling books. At the time, she said there had been discussions about the next film. “I will be working on both the book and the film but I don’t know if they are the same thing yet. It’s not been decided.”

She can’t get pregnant – so she goes back to Hugh’s character just to get pregnant? I hate it! Bleh! Lets not and say we did – okay? We know Renee will be back – she’s got nothing better going on. Come to think of it – neither does Hugh Grant. I hope Oscar winner Colin Firth stays away from this stinker… you can do better Colin!

What do you think? Is a third Bridget Jones good or bad news?

Lady Gaga and Britney Spears working on collaboration!

According to sources, Lady Gaga is apparently planning a collaboration with Britney Spears!

The singer was spotted backstage at Britney’s Femme Fatale concert in Atlantic City over the weekend.

And a source told The Sun: “They sat for around an hour gossiping and talking about collaborating together on a track – Gaga already has two songs in mind.”

Britney couldn’t resist giving a shout-out to her famous fan at the gig, telling fans:

“I have a very special guest here tonight, Lady Gaga is here!” before blowing kisses in her direction, reported the LA Times.

Contrary to rumours of a rivalry, it appears the two singers have a mutual respect for one another.

Lady Gaga penned a few tracks for Britney before she hit the big time.

And the Hold It Against Me singer caught the Monster Ball Tour when Lady Gaga came through LA a year ago.

I think a collab between the two of them would be great!

PS: What’s this I see? Is Lady Gaga dressed conservatively?

Kristen Stewart’s Sexy Retro W Magazine Cover!

Kristen Stewart is W Magazine’s latest cover girl. In this very candid interview, Kristen opens up about being a child actor, working with David Fincher, the ‘Breakind Dawn’ wedding and what it’s going to be like to finally say goodbye to her character Bella after so many years.

On being a child actress:

“It’s weird, because I would be the last person in my school to be in plays, but I was forced to sing a song in a school thing. I sang a dreidl song, which is funny for me. I’ve never celebrated Hanukkah—it wasn’t in my upbringing, but it was one of those deals where everybody has to pick a song or participate somehow in the chorus. It wasn’t the normal dreidl song; I can’t really remember the words, but it was a more serious dreidl song. The dreidl was huge, it was really honored. And that’s how I met my agent, who was in the audience. I was eight. I was nine when I did my first movie, The Safety of Objects.”

On working with David Fincher in ‘Panic Room’:

“I didn’t realize that 80 takes wasn’t normal. But it’s funny: Some of my proudest moments from film sets are in Panic Room. My character had seizures. Just being able to say, I was 10 years old and I broke all the blood vessels in my eye on that take, is cool. It was fun.”

On being embarrassed of being a tomboy:

“I have brothers, and that so-called boyish quality was something that I was deathly self-conscious about when I was younger. I was, like, No, I’m a girl. Actually, I’m still embarrassed to say that.”

On trying out for the role of Bella in ‘Twilight’:

“I don’t really know what to say. I just knew I wanted to work. And I did. I was working when I read the script for Twilight. I read the script before I read the book. I actually did the audition before reading the book, which was kind of crazy. Obviously, I tore all four books apart over the course of three years, but initially I had no idea that Twilight was such a big deal.

On the upcoming Twilight wedding:

“Awesome. This was my first wedding. It was insane. And odd. The wedding dress experience was a huge deal. I tried on one version of the dress, and it was like tweak and tweak and alter and tweak and change, and then it’s done. BFD dress. Huge deal. [The wedding] was major. The last Twilight book is filled with BFDs, things that people have been waiting for, for so long. For me, it was ridiculously dramatic: I get married, give birth, the baby has an incredibly accelerated growth rate we’re all very concerned about, and I say goodbye to my dad for the last time ever. It was all big—I could never go, Whew, I’m losing this character.”

On what it will be like to say goodbye to Bella:

“I’d been anticipating that end-of-Bella moment. I was going, Oh, my God—I wonder how I’m going to feel. And the last scene of the shoot was at the wedding. Every single character was there on set. At the end of that day, I was kind of whacked. And so I never really had that moment then. Instead, it happened later. We needed to film one more sort of honeymoon scene and we went to the Virgin Islands. After that scene, my true final scene, I felt like I could shoot up into the night sky and every pore of my body would shoot light. I felt lighter than I’ve ever felt in my life.”

I think she looks beautiful in these pictures, and I really enjoyed the interview!

‘The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo’ star Rooney Mara opens up about the brutal rape scene

The rape of Lisbeth Salander in “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” is the one incident that gives Lisbeth her quest for revenge. In David Fincher’s new movie, he admits he stuck as close to the disturbing events that Stieg Larsson laid out in his best selling novel.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Rooney Mara, who completely transforms to play the role of Lisbeth, described the difficulty — and importance — of making the rape scene as true to the book as possible.

“It was incredibly intense. We did it all in a week — the week of Valentine’s Day, oddly enough,” she remembered. “We were working 16 hours a day, and it was really, really challenging, not just emotionally but physically. But it’s such an important scene. We wanted to do everything we could to get that right.”

Director David Fincher hinted that the scene — and the subsequent revenge payoff — would be visually unforgiving in an interview earlier in the year with W Magazine.

“Sony and Scott Rudin [producer] told me they wanted to be in the adult-film-franchise business,” Fincher said. “And they said, ‘We want you to kick the A in adult.’ They already had a release date–December 2011–but I wasn’t sure I wanted to do another movie about a serial killer [following "Zodiac"]. Then I read the script, and I called Scott and said, ‘I can’t imagine why you thought of me.’”

Of course, about that last part, he was joking — Fincher is known, through films such as “Fight Club,” to be a director willing to brush up against boundaries of violence and brutality. Daniel Craig, who stars in the film as Mikael Blomkvist, confirmed as much in a recent cover story for Esquire.

“This is adult drama. I grew up, as we f*cking all did, watching ‘The Godfather’ and that, movies that were made for adults. And this is a $100 million R-rated movie,” he said. “Nobody makes those anymore. And Fincher, he’s not holding back. They’ve given him free rein. He showed me some scenes recently, and my hand was over my mouth, going, Are you f*cking serious?”

I cannot wait to see this movie! I watched the foreign versions (which I loved) and I absolutely adore David Fincher. It’s going to be hard to watch and dark like some of his past movies (Se7en, Fight Club).

SeeJenniferAnistonNaked

Ben Stiller wants people to know how much he cares about education. So much in fact that he’s willing to let people see Jennifer Aniston naked. But only for charity.

In a new video for his Ben Stiller Foundation, the “Zoolander” star pitches a number of other, more creative names for the education-focused charity, most of which fall flat (aside for his “Derek Zoolander Center For Kids Who Can’t Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good,” of course). So, he decided to “enlist” his good friend Aniston into the project.

Whether or not that makes her happy is another story.

Check out Stiller’s foundation here, and watch the video below.
