The Game played a prank on the police and apparently they aren’t going to press charges.
The rapper tweeted that he was looking for some of twitter followers sign up for a hip-hop internship. Then he gave out a number for them to call. The number however was in fact the direct line to the L.A. County Sheriff Department in Compton.
The police station was flooded with calls which authorities considered a compromise of public safety. All these calls could have blocked an actual emergency from reaching the police.
“The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department will not be seeking criminal charges,” reads the statement from Captain Mike Parker.
“Based upon our investigation, as well as consultation with the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, the LASD considers the criminal investigation into this matter closed.”
The Game has apologized for the prank gone haywire, which the Sheriff’s Department called “relevant and well-received.”
They decided to let The Game off the hook for this one!

Sandra Bullock no longer contacts her ex-husband Jesse James’ daughter Sunny. It appears that Bullock, 47, is making a clean break. That includes distancing herself from any ties to Jesse.
“Sandra doesn’t communicate anymore with Sunny,” the girl’s mother, Janine Lindemulder, says in the new Us Weekly, out Wednesday. “Sunny never talks about her.”
“I don’t bear any grudges against Sandra,” Lindemulder added. “She has her own son [Louis, 19 months] to raise.”
The Blind Side star helped care for Sunny during her marriage to James from 2005 to 2010, even mentioning her “commitment ” to the girl when she petitioned a judge on behalf of James in his 2009 custody battle with Lindemulder.
A second source told Us that Bullock “has had to move on” from James, which meant disconnecting from Sunny, too. “The last thing she wanted to do was hurt Sunny,” the insider added. “But she had to do what was best for her.”
Bullock recently adopted a boy in secret from New Orleans. She named him Louis Bardo.
She and James initiated the adoption together but after she discovered that Jesse had been cheating on her, she finalized the adoption in January 2010 as a single parent.
I hate that she has to lose contact with Jesse’s daughter. That is sad, but under the circumstances I understand her decision.

Following the recent tragedy of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Russell Armstrong’s suicide (which he coroner has made the official cause of death), RadarOnline reports that his family is considering suing the Bravo, the network that airs the reality television series.
“Bravo is at fault and somebody needs to pay,” Russell’s step brother Wade Jackson told RadarOnline. “Russell’s whole family was very close and they’re considering suing Bravo. Russell’s dad doesn’t want to talk about what happened to him with a lot of people, but everyone in the family thinks that Bravo is to blame. I’m sure somebody will sue them,” Jackson said about the Armstrong family plans to litigate against the network.
Bravo isn’t the only one Wade blames; he credits Russell’s estranged wife Taylor for getting Russell involved with the Real Housewives series:
“In his line of business he didn’t want to be a public person on the show, but Taylor pushed him into it. He was really upset about the whole thing and told everyone in the family that he didn’t want to be on the show.”
Jackson said Russell had visited his dad in Texas in the last month and was planning to get through the divorce with Taylor and was then considering leaving California.
“He was a smart guy,” Jackson said. “The whole family is sad about his death and they want answers.”
Jennifer Love Hewitt is setting the record straight after tweeting that she had a crush on Ben Flajnik from The Bachelorette, claiming that she met up with him in San Francisco. She now tells Ryan Seacrest for 102.7 KISS FM that people blew the whole thing out of proportion, and that it was meant to be a joke.
“I sent out funny tweets about Ben F. then it got all sort of blown out of proportion. Now it’s like the rumor mill is crazy. I have nothing to say except I‘m totally single.”
When Ellen asked her if she ever made out with Ben at any time in her life, Jennifer coyly answered: “Rumors are rumors,” but she didn’t flatly deny the hookup.
“We did meet, but totally by coincidence,” she said about their recent time spent together in San Francisco. She told Ryan they just happened to be in the same place at the same time.
“I don’t know why people are making such a big deal!” JLo Hewitt exclaimed. “I was looking for something pop culture to tweet about. I’m new to the Twitter situation and I watned to have fun with the twitters out there.
“Everybody has taken this and it is all blown out of proportion.”
She was asked if she would now be the new Bachelorette now that she’s single, but she said no because they haven’t asked her. I could totally see it.
