After reporting on French actor Gerard Depardieu having  tinklefest on Air France, reporter Anderson Cooper had a fierce case of the giggles during a live broadcast:

While reporting on Gérard Depardieu’s public urination on a plane, the CNN anchor lost a bit of control himself on his show Wednesday night – practically collapsing in a fit of giggles while lobbing pun after pun at the French actor’s expense.

What tickled Cooper in particular was the joke that at least Gerard went No. 1 and not “Depard-2.”

Rubbing tears from his eyes, Cooper, 44, could barely speak toward the end of the segment, though he somehow managed to mutter an apology to viewers. “Sorry, this has actually never happened to me,” he said.

Depardieu, 62, surely could have said the same.

Hilary Duff and husband of one year Mike Comrie are expecting their first child. Hilary is sharing with her Twitter followers all of her latest cravings.

“Now I can finally talk about my cravings! Today it was rice crispy treats! Trying really hard to give them ALL away!!!” Duff, 23, tweeted on August 15, along with a Twitpic showing a freshly made batch of the gooey marshmallow treats.

Duff isn’t the first celeb mommy-to-be to share her pregnancy food fancies. For Alyssa Milano, who is due in mid-September, it was a certain veggie. “Broccoli! I can’t even consider that a craving because it’s so odd. I can’t get enough broccoli!” the 38-year-old star told Us Weekly in February.

On the more weird-and-wacky front, Kourtney Kardashian, 32, admitted that she had a hankering for some unique concoctions while pregnant with son Mason, 20 months. “My most intense craving was a waffle with butter and syrup. Weirdest maybe a relish and mayo sandwich, but only once thank god!” she Tweeted in October 2009.

Duff announced her pregnancy news via her official website on August 14 — an extra-sweet touch to her and Comrie’s one-year anniversary.

“I can’t believe it has already been a year. Time really flies when you’re having fun! We also want to share the exciting news that baby makes three! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years!”

Those celebrity cravings don’t sound too bad. I craved cake 24/7 when I was pregnant and I had the booty to prove it.

Russell Armstrong’s violence toward Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong was allegedly so bad that just a few weeks ago he hit her so brutally that she was hospitalized. Then needed surgery to fix the damage done.

“Russell hit Taylor in the face so hard she had to go to Cedars Sinai hospital in June,” a source told RadarOnline.com about her emergency visit to the Beverly Hills hospital.

“The damage to her face was so extensive that she spent days in the hospital and had to have a plastic surgeon give her reconstructive surgery to repair what Russell did to her.”

A second source confirmed Taylor’s hospital visit and said Russell hit her after a nasty fight.

Taylor hid the beating from her daughter, Kennedy, sheltering her from the violence Russell inflicted upon her.

“She made sure Kennedy was unaware of what was going on between her parents,” the source said.

A source states that Taylor hid her bruises with heavy make-up after the incident. The other housewives had to film around her while she healed.

Taylor was out-spoken about the family violence she grew up with. She had confided in friends that this last incident inspired her to work with other battered women.

Russell Armstong was pronounced dead this past Monday from an apparent suicide. He hung himself. He was only 47 years old.
