I don’t think anyone is surprised by the news today that Paris Hilton’s god-awful reality show ‘The World According to Paris’ has been canceled after one disastrous season. I honestly didn’t watch a single minute of it, I just don’t care enough to waste any DVR space on it. I’m hoping the Kardashians go by way of Paris Hilton and just disappear, but it’s not likely any time soon.
This summer saw the debut of two new celebreality series featuring well-known female stars: Oxygen’s The World According to Paris and Lifetime’s Roseanne’s Nuts. Paris Hilton and Roseanne Barr are very different personalities, but their shows both struck out with viewers. Hilton’s series was pretty much dead on arrival, earning barely 400,000 viewers for its June debut and sinking even lower in subsequent airings. The network isn’t officially commenting on its fate, but Vulture can exclusively report what’s been obvious to even the most amateur ratings watcher for weeks: Oxygen has no plans for a second season of “The World According to Paris,” unscripted industry insiders familiar with the situation confirm.

It premiered to respectable but not particularly good numbers, with about 1.5 million folks watching Barr and her family putz around on a nut farm. More people watched repeats of “Pawn Stars” on Lifetime the night Roseanne debuted, which turned out to be an omen: In subsequent weeks, viewership dropped well below a million viewers. Indeed, the most recent episode, airing on August 10, attracted a mere 764,000 viewers. Another ominous sign: Lifetime preempted Roseanne last week, subbing in a repeat of “Dance Moms.” We thought this might be a sign that Lifetime wanted to experiment with different programming in the 9 p.m. Wednesday slot normally occupied by Roseanne, or that it was hoping to boost viewership for the 10 p.m. original of Dance Moms. But nope, Lifetime says there was absolutely no strategy behind the last-second shift: “It was a program delivery issue,” a network spokesman e-mailed Vulture, noting it will air as scheduled this week. That’s usually code for, “The producers couldn’t get the episode done in time,” but since the Lifetime rep didn’t elaborate, we’ll just let “program delivery issue” speak for itself. In any case, with Roseanne having experienced a 50 percent drop in viewership since its premiere, it would seem that its chances for a second season are about the same as “The World According to Paris.” For now, however, Lifetime is maintaining its happiness with the show: “No decision on season two yet but we are happy with its performance this season,” the network rep said.
I think it’s hilarious that Roseanne’s Nuts did better than Paris Hilton.

The family of three stopped for drinks at Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf before heading to lunch at Little Dom’s restaurant where they dined outside. After lunch they headed back home.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries‘ Aug. 20 wedding apparently earned the couple a whopping $17 million. While her family and E! rake in a ton of dough off the ceremony, Kris’ family was decidedly much less impressed.
“There were rhinestones up the wazoo!” one guest tells the new Us Weekly, out now, adding that the huge affair was “100 percent Kardashian,” with a Swarovski crystal cross at the altar, 200-plus staffers and plenty of TV cameras documenting the whole thing for an October TV special on E!

“It was so hard to take it all seriously,” another guest says. Kardashian, 30, even told guests repeatedly “This is our version of the royal wedding!” according to another insider.
Adds another pal: “Everybody felt awkward, like it was all for the cameras and more like a TV show than a wedding.”
Still, there were some sweet moments. Although the groom’s family “mostly looked appalled by the entire thing,” the Humphries brood “cheered when Kim and Kris were pronounced husband and wife.”
“Chelsea Lately’s” Heather McDonald tells Us: “Kim teared up when Kris read his vows.”
Adds guest Daniel Dejene: “Kim looked so happy to be married!”
I’m so over the Kardashians…. this whole wedding thing is annoying, I will NOT be watching it on E!. Kim seems so fake – this relationship seems so fake – I just don’t even care anymore!
PS: Am I the only one that noticed Kim’s husband Kris is absent from this cover!? Where’s the husband! Oh wait – it’s all about the Kardashians! Poor Kris, I don’t think he realizes what he’s signed up for.

Although Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith have publicly stated that their “marriage is intact”, In Touch is sticking to their story. Will and Jada’s marriage is in trouble.
According to ITW, Will had been growing suspicious of wife Jada Pinkett and her ‘HawthorRNe’ costar Marc Anthony . He feared Jada had grown “uncomfortably close” to the singer, who at the time was still married to Jennifer Lopez. “Will expressed worry to some close to him that there was more than just on-set chemistry between Jada and Marc,” the insider tells In Touch.
So when Jada told Will she needed space and moved from their Malibu mansion into their Hidden Hills estate — and began spending more time traveling without the family — Will grew increasingly paranoid. In early August, he decided to confront his gnawing doubts about Jada and made a surprise visit to his wife. And, sadly, his suspicions were seemingly confirmed. “He left crying,” the insider confides to In Touch. “He was very upset. He said Marc was with Jada.”
TMZ is also reporting that Will and Jada are in trouble. They claim that a split is still a huge possibility.
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are having significant problems in their marriage, but they have NOT made a decision to separate … at least not yet — this according to sources connected with the couple.
Reports have been swirling that the couple has separated. We’re told it’s “definitely a possibility” but they haven’t pulled the trigger. In fact, we’ve learned Will, Jada and their kids are going away together soon — as a family. Our sources would neither confirm nor deny if the trip is a last ditch effort to save the relationship.
We also asked our sources about the somewhat curious statement from Will and Jada, that their marriage is “intact.” Specifically, why didn’t they go the more traditional PR route and say they’re still in love and committed to each other? Our sources privately said, the language was carefully constructed.
Man, I will be so surprised if Jada did have a relationship with Marc. I just find him so gross, and not attractive AT ALL. I can’t imagine a world where someone leaves Will Smith for the weasley looking Marc Anthony. It makes no sense!

Several websites are reporting that Max was spotted with a bruise under his eyes. That is quite a bit more than a simple bruise – that kiddo’s nose is broken! The bruise goes under both eyes, and it’s obvious his nose is swollen. Poor kid! Wonder what happened?
Christina Aguilera and Matt Rutler arrived at Los Angeles Airport this afternoon with Max.
Christina is set to perform at an upcoming tribute concert for Michael Jackson, but reportedly many fans of MJ are lobbying for it’s cancellation.
The group “criticized the timing of the show, which coincides with the trial of Dr. Conrad Murray for involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson, and expressed confusion over the event’s charitable donations and high ticket prices,” Rolling Stone reports.
