Christina Aguilera’s 3-year-old son with ex-husband Jordan Bratman was recently photographed sporting a black eye.

An insider close to the singer, 30, explains that little Max fell while chasing squirrels at the park.

“Any reports stating she isn’t a good mom are incorrect,” the source tells Us Weekly. “The reports are actually disgusting. Christina is an amazing mom. Max is a happy playful and active boy who has a loving and safe home.”

Chasing squirrels? I have two sons – and they are as rambunctious as they come. But chasing squirrels? A broken nose from that!?

Christina Aguilera is firing back at rumors she’s somehow responsible for a giant bruise on her son’s face — telling friends little Max simply had himself a little fall at the park … chasing squirrels.

The photo was taken yesterday afternoon at LAX — with rumors circulating that Christina’s “erratic behavior and alleged booze-filled outings” somehow contributed to Max’s accident.

But sources tells us, that’s total nonsense — 3-year-old Max was out with his nanny last week, chasing around squirrels … and the kid tripped over a rock and bruised his face.

According to our sources, Max was taken to the doctor immediately and everything was fine. No broken nose, no stitches. Just your average boyhood bruise.

As one source put it, “Christina is a great mom … Max is her #1 priority.”

In perfect timing for Frances’ 19th birthday this week, there is a new series of photos showing off her laid-back glamorous side. Los Angeles based fine art photographer Rocky Schenck shot a series of gorgeous images of Frances Bean Cobain at her request. She names the photographer as one of her favorites.

Cobain previously did a fashion spread for Harper’s Bazaar when she was just 15, telling the magazine that fame wasn’t her goal.

“These people are fascinated by me, but I haven’t done anything,” she said “If you’re a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I understand why you would want to get to know me, but I’m not my parents.”

Jim Carrey just released a very creepy video in which he declares his love to 22-year-old actress Emma Stone. In the video he claims he daydreams about their wedding – and sex. (Creepy?) Carrey doesn’t seem to be sarcastic in the video – and the two aren’t working on any movie together, so he’s not promoting anything.

He, of course, could be joking, which would make it hilarious given how inexplicable it is and how straight he plays it. Do you think he’s joking?

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were laughing together during a romantic brunch at the beach in Malibu … and TMZ has the photos to prove it!

Sources at Bob Morris’ Beach Cafe tell us the two rolled in for omelettes and coffee this morning and left around 11 AM. No kids, no fighting … just breakfast.

We’re told the two seemed “happy and normal” — and the pictures of Jada laughing seems to back that up.

Will Smith just RIPPED APART reports he’s splitting from wife Jada Pinkett — saying all the rumors are outright ridiculous.

While out shopping with Jada in Malibu this morning, Will was asked to comment on the “ridiculous” rumors — and Will responds, “You just did.”

Also worth noting — around the 49-second mark, Jada appears to call Will “baby.”

You buying it? Think they really are fine? Or is this all a publicity stunt?

Avril Lavigne will be showing a streetwear line at New York Fashion Week. What gives!?

Models strutted down the runway in Abbey Dawn’s metallic-print T-shirts, oversized hoodies, long-sleeved striped skater T’s, denim skinny and boyfriend jeans with built-in suspenders, printed leggings, tutus, and plaid mini-skirts to the sounds of Avril’s hit songs “Girlfriend” and “Sk8er Boi.”
Abbey Dawn’s Spring 2012 collection will show at the Style-360 Metropolitan Pavilion, a venue where we’ve seen other displays of sartorial splendor by esteemed names in fashion such as Kim Kardashian for Bebe in 2010. Alas, Kim — step-sister of Avril’s beau, Brody Jenner — will not be participating in NYFW this season (at least as a designer).

In the meantime, Avril’s press release promises “a high-energy runway fashion show.”
