Courtney Cox and David Arquette are in this on again off again sort of separation at the moment. They’re still examining their relationship and trying to figure out if they can make it work.

The family dined at Il Sole last night in West Hollywood. Courtney dressed casually with no make up and a tight fitting see-through tank top and jeans. She looked pretty amazing even with no effort taken. David took Coco out the back to avoid the cameras.

Courtney is gearing up for the third season of her hit show Cougartown. She’s actually going to take on the directorial reins for an episode this season as well.

I don’t watch that show (can’t stand it!) so this means nothing to me. Do any of you still watch it?

Alec Baldwin is one of Hollywood’s longest-running bachelors. Apparently that won’t be for much longer, the 53-year-old actor (and possible New York City mayoral candidate) has moved in with his 27-year-old yoga instructor girlfriend, Hilaria Thomas.

People close to the “30 Rock” star confirmed that Baldwin sold his 300 Central Park West apartment at New York’s famed Art Deco Eldorado to move in with his girlfriend downtown.

In a recent interview, Baldwin described the Upper West Side neighborhood where his luxury apartment was listed for $9.5 million as “more middle-class” and “not a little kind of jewel-box, privileged pocket of the city like some neighborhoods are.”

Moving on from his uptown roots, sources said Baldwin purchased an apartment in SoHo favored by raven-haired beauty Thomas.

“He’s really in love,” a source said. “He’s even met her parents. He sees marriage in the near future.”

The two were even wearing what appeared to be promise rings. Baldwin, who played in the annual Artists/Writers softball charity game in East Hampton, N.Y., last weekend, sported Thomas’ green hair band on his ring finger while Thomas flaunted a round diamond on a platinum band which she said belonged to her grandmother.

When asked by a fellow attendee if marriage was in the future, Thomas was overheard saying, “Let’s see how it goes.”

She looks more like his daughter than his girlfriend. I find it super creepy when a guy in his 50′s dates a girl in her 20′s. It’s just plain creepy – even if you are cool, like Alec Baldwin.

A dripping wet Joseph Gordon-Levitt upped his cool factor even more this week — by covering a Nirvana classic in the band’s former stomping grounds, Seattle.

Levitt, who is currently touring the states with his Hit RECord at the Movies act, performed at the Neptune Theater in Seattle, Washington last night — where he covered “Lithium” because “I just want to play this song in this town.”

The crowd erupted when he started playing, breaking at one point to say of the late Kurt Cobain “It doesnt matter that he’s dead, it doesn’t matter how he died … his songs are f**king awesome, that’s what matters.”

Lindsay Lohan is annoyingly comparing herself to Marilyn Monroe.  Sure, they’re both troubled blondes. I guess they’re both actresses. But c’mon now, lets get real. I wouldn’t put Marilyn and Lindsay in the same category – to say the least.

Lindsay’s comparison came in the forward to “Marilyn: Intimate Exposures,” a book by Susan Bernard. In it she writes, “people in their mind have created who I am and act as if there is no real person inside of me. Just like Marilyn.”

Many, however, would beg to differ, Lindsay. A lot of people see the person inside and that is the real problem. That shows a spoiled little brat who wants what she wants with no thought of the effect to others.

She goes on to write, “Marilyn never wanted to be just a celebrity. Neither do I … I had always thought that movie stars were in films that would last forever in your mind. But now the films don’t. I don’t want to be remembered as someone who just wanted to be photographed, who goes out at night, and gets in trouble.”

Perhaps the answer is staring Lindsay right in the face. She could just stop doing the things that get her into trouble in the first place. If she doesn’t give people a reason to be upset with her, their feelings might change over time.

She also reported, “Marilyn said she had no foundation. But she said she was really working on it. I’m trying to do the same thing…I believe in myself and I’m a good actress.”

Lindsay Lohan at least got that part right. She is a good actress when she sets her mind to it. She could even be a great actress one day, but first she has to take responsibility for her actions and she needs to make some amends so that people can see she really means it. It can’t just be lip action.

Maybe then, Lindsay Lohan will get the chance to prove everybody wrong. Everybody deserves a second chance!

I don’t believe for one second that Lindsay doesn’t want to be “just a celebrity”.  Are you kidding me?

Poor Jennifer Aniston. Until the poor woman actually breaks down and has a baby, everyone is going to talk about how desperate she is for a child.

Jennifer Aniston – in attendance [at an anniversary party for Ellen and Portia] “wasn’t drinking alcohol,” says one partygoer of the star, who is usually spotted at parties clutching a cocktail. “And she looked pregnant. People were noticing and talking about it like it was a fact.”

If the actress has her way, it will be soon. After six years of broken relationships, the star knows she’s found The One…

“She has been telling those close to her that this is the year she’s going to get pregnant,” says a friend of the 42-year-old actress…

“The plan is to get pregnant this summer, said the friend…”

“[Theroux] is 100 percent on board – the last few months they have been in baby-making mode.”

Well – she wasn’t drinking so she’s obviously pregnant.  Duh!

I like Sarah Michelle Gellar, I’ve just never been a huge fan of her work.  Let’s just say we don’t see eye-to-eye on what a good movie is. I know that I’m in the minority, most people loved ‘Buffy’. Unfortunately I’ve seen both Scooby Doo movies – and that’s about all the SMG movies I’ve seen. Maybe I’ll watch her new show?

There’s one thing Sarah Michelle Gellar hates about Ringer, her new drama on The CW premiering Sept. 13: The shoes. “Due to the lack of fight scenes, the fancy footwear comes out,” says the actress, who for seven star-making, comfortably shod seasons staked a legion of demonic bloodsuckers (and smooched with a couple of the nicer, more misunderstood ones) in Buffy The Vampire Slayer. In her eagerly anticipated return to series TV, the 34-year-old actress is more likely to wear designer gowns and high heels than sneakers and a hoodie. When we spent the morning with her on the set earlier this month, Gellar looked smashing in a black Versace dress (“It’s Ver-sase,” she quipped, quoting Showgirls) but was quick to kick off the matching shoes. “It’s beautiful,” she said. “But you know, fancy footwear is a pain!”

Don’t worry, readers. This week’s cover story about The Woman Who Once Was Buffy covers more ground than just wardrobe. Gellar — who has spent the past eight years making movies (most notably The Grudge) and being a mom (she and husband Freddie Prinze Jr. welcomed daughter Charlotte into the world in 2009) — talked with EW about the twists and turns her life has taken over the past eight years and how frustration with movie roles for women brought her back to TV. “That was a bit of a letdown for me after Buffy,” says Gellar. “I thought: ‘The roles are going to be just like that. You’re not going to get stuck playing “the girlfriend” or “the wife,” you’re going to get these three-dimensional characters.’ But truthfully, those roles are very rare. It’s a better time for actresses on TV than on film.” She thinks her fans will like Ringer, a smart and sudsy thriller in which she plays twins: Bridget, an ex-stripper on the run from the mob and the FBI, who takes to living as her unhappily married Manhattan socialite twin sister Siobhan after witnessing her sibling’s (apparent) death. Mastering the masquerade means unraveling Siobhan’s wealth of secrets (like an affair with her best friend’s husband) and dodging a mysterious assassin. “Ringer is the perfect balance of what audiences want to see me do,” says Gellar. “It’s Cruel Intentions meets Buffy.”
