I can’t tell if this is wishful thinking or just good ol’ fashioned support from a loving hubby, but Nick Cannon spoke on wife Mariah Carey shedding the baby weight, going as far as to say that she’s going to get back to the slim Mariah of 1990!

OK! spoke with Nick at the America’s Got Talent show last night about how difficult it has been for him working and balancing spending time with his babies.

“It’s the toughest thing in the world – leaving my family in general, not just my children, but my wife,” he said. “Knowing that she is there with them being mommy, I don’t want to miss any of those moments!”

For Nick, having the twins has been nothing but a blessing.

“There is no “worst” part at all. Everything is amazing about fatherhood. The best part is when they communicate with you and they recognize you. It’s the best.”

“She is getting [the weight] off. She is about to be 1990 again!”

We’ll see…oh, and in 1990, Nick Cannon was 10-years-old.

With the anticipation of Hurricane Irene riding high, celebrity mom Sarah Jessica Parker is said to be scrambling, hurrying with the rest of the East Coast, preparing her home as much as possible.

SJP told the Associated Press while promoting her new comedy, I Don’t Know How She Does It, that she is securing her home and getting everything her family needs in preparation for Hurrican Irene, which is expected to wreak havoc on the East Coast and hit NYC over the weekend.

The actress told reporters she’s “removing anything that could fly through windows.”

And as the woman of the house, she’s also getting everything her family — husband Matthew Broderick, their 8-year-old son, James Wilkie, and their 2-year-old twins, Loretta and Tabitha — will need, stocking up on water, flashlights and batteries.

As of right now, Hurricane Irene is classified as a category three and there have been areas in both North and South Carolina that have been evacuated.

Columbiana actress Zoe Saldana kicks some major tail in her latest action flick, which opens in theaters this Friday, and Shape magazine has all the details on how the super slim 33-year-old actress got fit for the high action role.

Steve Moyer, who has worked with the star since 2009, hit the gym with Zoe with three to four days a week to prep her for the physically intensive role, but insists that he didn’t have to work with her on her diet at all.

“I give her a lot of credit ‹ she knows how to eat healthy for herself,” Moyer says. “I give her tips and suggestions when she wants them.”

The trainer shares all of Zoe’s workout secrets on Shape.com – and all you will need for the workout is an exercise ball, a resistance band, a cable rack, and an exercise mat.

“I want a baby. If it would happen tomorrow I would still be very happy about it.”

Charlize is also open to the idea of adopting a child and thinks she good provide a wonderful home to a disadvantaged youngster.

When asked if she would consider adoption, she said: “Why not? I’m open to everything in life.”

She also spoke on her mother Gerda, who shot Charlize’s abusive father in self-defense, saying that she raised her with proper values:

The world has watched Harry Potter actress Emma Watson grow up before their eyes, even going off to college for a bit, and now she’s repotredly moved her beau, actor Johnny Simmons, into her father’s home. The 21-year-old and her boyfriend are allegedly shared the high class attic digs of her dad’s multi-million dollar estate in north London.

A source explained: “Things are getting pretty serious between Emma and Johnny so she wanted to take him back to London to meet her parents.

“They’ve been having a brilliant time together. Emma knows the city like the back of her hand so she is a great person to show him around.”

“They’ve done loads of tourist spots but she has also been taking him to a few flea markets and some great local pubs.

“They’ve been taking bikes or eco-cars to every tourist trap in the capital, including the London Eye, Big Ben and St. Paul’s Cathedral.”

After the couple were spotted smooching in Los Angeles earlier this month, Emma –  who previously dated British singer George Craig — was said to have looked “utterly besotted” with her new man.

An onlooker explained at the time: “They were all over each other, kissing and hugging. It was very sweet to see. She looked utterly besotted. They’re obviously head-over-heels in love.”

The couple has been dating since they met on the set of their new movie, The Perks of Being A Wallflower, earlier this year .

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong is still in the midst of grieving over the suicide of her estranged husband Russell Armstrong, and it’s being reported that the reality star has been confiding in friends that Russell’s death isn’t the Bravo network’s fault. =

The Oklahoma native has told her confidantes:”Russell’s suicide wasn’t caused by the show or Bravo. Russell just simply cracked over ongoing legal and financial issues. The show bears no responsibility for his death, neither does the network. In fact, Bravo has been extremely supportive of Taylor during this tragedy.”

“It looks like the show will indeed premiere on September 5. Editing is still being done on the show. Russell is either going to be edited down, or completely out of the show. However, Bravo and the show won’t be ignoring the Russell’s suicide. They simply can’t, to do so, would be disrespectful to the situation and what Taylor is going through. It will be addressed in a manner that is dignified and appropriate,” the source says.

Russell’s mother had issued a stern warning  and told Jane Valez Mitchell in an interview that Bravo, “Better not air one frame of my son — or else!”

Bravo is set to air the season premiere of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on September 5.
