Actress Emma Watson spent most of her career playing the role of Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movie series. First landing the part when she was only 9-years-old, the now 21-year-old actress admits that she finds herself “embarrassing” as she looks back to the first series of the films. She spoke with the Daily Telegraph about her feelings about going from the first movie to the now final eighth, saying that she can’t help but cite how different of a person she is now:

“It’s somewhat embarrassing to see myself go through all the awkward stages of growing up. So much time has passed and so much has happened that it seems that I don’t know her, but it’s interesting to see how the character has evolved and how much I have changed.”

Since completing filming on the series wrapped last year, Emma, now 21, has moved on, studying at university and signing up to appear in ‘My Week with Marilyn’ and ‘The Perks of Being a Wallflower’, but her cast mate Rupert Grint has admitted he’s found it harder to move on.

He said: “I loved every minute of it, and I’m really going to miss it. I felt empty and a bit lost, and it’s taken me a while to accept it’s over.

“When Harry Potter started, I wanted to be an ice-cream man, but the films showed me that I wanted to be an actor, although for the first three I didn’t take it very seriously. I just stood where I was told and read my lines. Then with the fourth film I started caring more about my performance.”

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows had it’s world premiere in London last night on July 7.

Journalist Maria Shriver and soon-to-be former wife to Arnold Schwarzenegger has laid out her requests in the divorce settlement, and it includes many things that she wants, but the $10 million Brentwood, Calif., home that they once shared is not one of them.

As previously said, all the assets that the former couple has are considered community property, which means they could share them fifty-fifty because there is no pre-nup. The divorce settlement are “in the very beginning stages” but a source told TMZ that Maria allows Arnold to keep the house where they raised their children. Maria buys a mansion only three miles from the house so that the children can travel back and forth easily.

Back when the two were first married in 1986, the certainly didn’t have as many assets as they do now. As a couple, currently their combined wealth was $400 million, with Arnold at $300 million and Maria at $100 million.

American League Most Valuable Player Josh Hamilton is distraught today, as a fan that attempted to catch a baseball thrown at him from the player fell to his death. On July 7 at the Texas Rangers and Oakland Athletics game, Josh tossed a ball to firefighter Shannon Stone who was attending the game with his young son. Shannon attempted to catch the ball and went over the railing and succumbed to his injuries.

Another fan Ronnie Hargis who sat next to Stone tried to catch him by foot but he failed. “He went straight down,” Hargis recalled. “I tried to grab him, but I couldn’t. I tried to slow him down a little bit.”

Stone fell 14-foot-high behind the score display. He was conscious when brought on a stretcher into an ambulance but he died of his injuries on the way to the hospital. He was pronounced dead at 8:20 P.M. after reportedly going into “full [cardiac] arrest.”

Hamilton who threw the ball “is very distraught over this, as the entire team is,” team president Nolan Ryan said in a statement. “We had a very tragic accident tonight, and one of our fans lost their life reaching over the rail trying to get a ball. As an organization, and as our team members and our staff, we’re very heavy-hearted about this, and our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.”

In an interview with Latina magazine, actress Jessica Alba talks having a balanced life with her family that includes daughter Honor Marie, husband Cash Warren, and the new baby on the way, as well as her career in Hollywood. The 30-year-old actress told the magazine that she isn’t leaving her family, especially her daughter, if it isn’t worth it.

“After I had Honor I didn’t leave the house for a while.

“It was all about changing diapers and feedings and still trying to get back in to the routine of my [acting] thing. I love what I do. But unless it’s worth it, I’m not going to spend time away from my daughter.”

“Before I had her, work was all I had,” the actress notes. “Now it’s not.”

Now in her third trimester, Jessica has some tips on first time, soon-to-be moms:

“If you are sporting a pregnant belly, it’s better to show it than to hide it,” she explains. “The more figure-forming your clothes, even though you have more curves, the better. I like long, thin sweaters that kind of hide my hips and my booty, so there’s not a huge emphasis on how big they’re getting.”

News broke not too long ago that actor Ethan Hawke was preparing to become a father for the fourth time, but now we know that he will be welcoming a daughter with wife Ryan Shawhughes. This will be Ethan’s third daughter, whom he will be welcoming into the family this summer.

“Ethan is thrilled that he is going to be having another girl,” a source close to Ethan tells Life & Style. “He loves little girls. This will be his third.”

Ethan was previously married to actress Uma Thurman, with whom he has two children: Maya, 14 and Levon, 9. The couple divorced in 2004 after being married for six years. Ethan’s current wife Ryan, whom he wed in 2008, once worked as the nanny to Ethan and Uma’s children.

“I think Uma is really happy for Ethan,” the source tells Life & Style. “She likes that he’s such a great father to their two kids.[...]Ethan and Ryan are doing really well. They are a cool, low-key couple and are easy to get along with.”
