Demi Lovato is back with a brand new single — her first since leaving a treatment facility for cutting, an eating disorder and depression.

The song, “Skyscraper,” was released last night on iTunes and has already jumped to #3 on the singles chart.

With lyrics like “Would it make you feel better to watch me while I bleed … I will be rising from the ground,like a skyscraper, like a skyscraper,” the song is definitely one of empowerment — and alludes to her painful past.

Of recording the song, Lovato tells Seventeen “Recording this song was such an amazing experience for me. It was such an incredible and emotional process … My biggest wish for this song is that it’s able to inspire others and urge them to keep moving forward no matter what the odds.”

Megan Fox recently made news when it went public she was booted from The Transformers franchise for comparing Michael Bay to Hitler (Steven Spielberg didn’t look too kindly on that). Also made headlines when Shia LaBeouf admitted they hooked up on set. Since all this negative press, she’s kept a low-profile. That is until Fox turned up on the set of her new movie The Dictator and brought along her husband Brian Austen Green.

The final Harry Potter film premiered in New York City last night, and all the movie’s stars were on hand to celebrate.

Star Emma Watson wore an odd Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 gown. I’m not a fan of this look at all. I think she’s beautiful, but this dress just doesn’t do her justice, in my opinion. I like the top – but the bottom is a big hot mess. Her makeup is also strange, but she has flawless skin!

Penelope Cruz flaunts her post-baby body in a tight red dress on the set of her new movie!

The “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” star is pairing up with the film’s director, Woody Allen, once again, this time for the film, “Bop Decamerone.” It was announced she’d be joining the cast — which now includes “The Social Network” star, Jesse Eisenberg, and “30 Rock” funny man, Alec Baldwin – in April.

The actress gave birth to her son, with husband Javier Bardem, earlier this year but has already shed the baby weight and looks fantastic with her post baby curves.

I loved ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’ – probably the only Woody Allen movie I like. I love Penelope, so hoping this new movie will be good!

This story is just so sad to me! So many people affected by drinking and driving. Actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer is a married woman with children. Too many people hurt by such a careless accident!

A police officer says an actress who had appeared in the “Melrose Place” television series was giggling and laughing after a motor vehicle crash that killed a New Jersey woman.

The officer says Amy Locane-Bovenizer said police and emergency personnel were “being overly dramatic.”

The Courier News of Bridgewater reports Montgomery Police Officer William Wilkes testified Monday during a hearing to determine whether statements the actress made to police after the June 2010 crash will be admissible at her trial.

Locane-Bovenizer is charged with aggravated manslaughter stemming from the death of 60-year-old Helene Seeman.

Prosecutors allege the 39-year-old actress, who lives in Hopewell, was drunk and speeding when her SUV struck a vehicle driven by Seeman’s husband.

The court hearing will continue Tuesday with cross-examination.
