John Mayer once ruled Twitter with four million followers, but apparently he had to quit! To be honest, I hadn’t even noticed he went missing! Apparently he had to quit Twitter because he was having a hard time putting together complete thoughts. Not only that, but apparently Twitter was preventing him from songwriting!
John Mayer revealed why he’s gone cold turkey on social media while advising students at a recent clinic at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. “I realized about a year ago that I couldn’t have a complete thought anymore, and I was a tweetaholic,” Mayer said. “I had four million Twitter followers, and I was always writing on it. And I stopped using Twitter as an outlet and I started using Twitter as the instrument to riff on, and it started to make my mind smaller and smaller and smaller. And I couldn’t write a song.”
Since quitting Twitter, Mayer has endeavored to become more disciplined and focused on his music. “Here are the rules for recording this record: No drum machines, no loops, no keyboards to start out with, no excuses, no breaks, no laptops, no nothing,” he said. “If you take a break, it’s to eat. If you’re done, you go home.”
Mayer told the music students to focus their time on practicing and finishing songs rather than promoting their projects on social media sites. “This time is a really important time for you guys because nobody knows who you are, and nobody should,” he said. “This is not a time to promote yourself. It doesn’t matter. This is the time to get your stuff together. Promotion can be like that. You can have promotion in 30 seconds if your stuff is good. Good music is its own promotion.”

RadarOnline and Star have decided that this is what Casey Anthony MIGHT look like when she walks free on Sunday. Apparently, according to sources Casey is considering changing her name, appearance and re-locating to a secret location. I say – go for it – as long as you stay out of my neighborhood!
So with that in mind, Star magazine has composed a photo of what Anthony, 25, may look like, if she does decide to disguise herself in an attempt to lay low.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the Orlando, Florida woman is well aware of death threats made against her in wake of her shocking acquittal and is weighing her options for life back on the outside.
In addition to wearing a disguise, she even considered plastic surgery at one point, a source close to her defense team told the Sun-Times.
“There even have been discussions about cosmetic surgery, but Casey has rejected that,” the source told the paper.
Upon her release, she’ll assume a pseudonym “almost as if she was living in a witness protection-like program,” the source added.
“If she moves on to another location, then it becomes someone else’s responsibility,” Orlando Sheriff Jerry Demings said. “We will not be providing security or protection for Casey once she leaves.”
As RadarOnline.com has previously reported, Anthony was found not guilty of first degree murder, manslaughter, and child abuse in the death of her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, who disappeared in June, 2008; her badly decomposed body was found six months later — in December, 2008 — in a wooded area not far from the family’s home.
While Anthony was acquitted on the most serious charges, she was convicted on four misdemeanor counts of lying to police. For that, she received four years in jail, but due to credit given for time already served as she awaited trial, she is being released this Sunday.

Maxim already told us she had a hot body, and now, Transformers 3 star Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is flaunting her famous assets as the new — and first — face of Burberry Body fragrance. ”It’s a huge honor to be working with Burberry again, a brand that put my career on the map and helped launch me,” Huntington-Whiteley — who modeled for the company’s autumn/winter 2010 collection and wore lots of Burberry to promote Transformers — said of her new gig. “To be asked to be the first ‘Burberry Body’ is an amazing compliment.” Details of the scent have yet to be released, but what we do know is that the campaign images, shot by famed photographer Mario Testino, show off a seductive side of Huntington-Whiteley, who (almost) wears a rose-gold satin trench coat in the ads.
