Oh man! This makes me so stinking sad! What – cancer wasn’t enough to scare you away from smoking!? What’s wrong with people!

Michael Douglas‘ battle with stage IV throat cancer played out publicly at the end of 2010 and into 2011. The actor wasn’t shy about discussing his diagnosis and then treatment and recovery. But in an interview with Matt Lauer on TODAY in January, Douglas said some of his story — specifically the story painted by portraits snapped by paparazzi — had been documented without his permission, and he resented that. New photos in Star magazine won’t help.

Douglas is seen on the cover of the magazine and in photos inside smoking while traveling with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones on a yacht to Porto Venere, Italy, on July 21.

The 66-year-old Hollywood icon was a longtime smoker before his cancer battle.

Perhaps getting caught is more troubling for Douglas than the post-cancer puff. From that January interview on TODAY: “With the amount of paparazzi that they have and these video cameras, you know, you just can’t do anything … There was sort of a macabre enjoyment out of sort of watching me go down there for a while, I felt, by the paparazzi.”

I hope he quits! That poor wife of his – I would just kill my husband if he started smoking after going through throat cancer!

I don’t talk about sports here because I cannot stand sports! Ick! But I came across this story this morning, and it made me chuckle, so I thought eh – why not. Plus – Ochocinco DID star on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ so it SORTA relates.

Chad Ochocinco has been traded to a new team – and guess what! His number, 85, is already taken! Wonder if he’s regretting that name change of his!

Chad Ochocinco DOES NOT want a new jersey number — and sources close to the NFL star tell TMZ .. he’s willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to sport #85 for the New England Patriots this season.

Problem is …. the number currently belongs to Patriots STUD tight end Aaron Hernandez – who rocked #85 in 2010 … when he DOMINATED all season long.

We’re told Ochocinco — who CHANGED HIS LAST NAME to match his jersey number a few years ago — wants to PAY Hernandez to give up the digits … and sources say Chad feels “no number is too high.”

FYI — jersey numbers don’t come cheap — it cost Clinton Portis a cool $18k to buy the #26 from a teammate when he was traded to the Washington Redskins a few years ago.

Well one thing is for certain…the recession certainly isn’t affecting some people! According to TMZ, 21-year-old rapper Soulja Boy has just dropped $55 MILLION on a new private jet!

A member of Soulja’s management team tells us … the kid bought himself a G5 jet as a birthday present to himself this week.

The jet cost $35 mil … but that’s just the beginning. We’re told the birthday boy is dropping an additional $20 million to pimp out his ride with all sorts of cool stuff … like 12 custom Italian leather seats, flat screen TVs, 4 liquor bars, a special travertine tiled floor, and Brazilian hardwood cabinets.

We’re told S.B. is also gutting the in-flight lavatory — and replacing it with a giant, LUXURIOUS bathroom. Oh, he’s also giving the jet a custom paint job … to include his logo.

And if that’s not enough for someone’s 21st — we’re told Soulja’s also spending $300,000 to throw himself a blowout birthday party at a Miami nightclub tonight … and Dwight Howard, Bow Wow, and Sean Kingston are all expected to attend.

This is such an insane story it makes me crazy. $55 million on an airplane!? At 21-years old!? Who’s advising this boy! This just makes me sick!

Ke$ha toned it down and kept it natural in a recent shoot with famous celebrity photographer Terry Richardson.

The queen of glitter, grunge and grease shows she can clean herself up. In these new photos, besides a little liner on her eyes, she’s practically untouched by makeup. She is naturally pretty! Who knew!

Nicky Hilton, the quieter Hilton sister, has split from longtime boyfriend David Katzenberg. David is the son of DreamWorks honcho Jeffrey Katzenberg. Despite the fact that their families had hoped the pair would marry, they were unable to work things out.

One friend told us, “They broke up quietly after four years together. The main reason was that they have been busy with their work schedules, and it has made it difficult to spend time together. Nicky has been back and forth traveling overseas a lot with her business. She has recently been in Asia promoting her jewelry line, and David is starting a new production company. Their schedules never seemed to match.”

The friend added, “There is no scandal or any third person — they remain close friends, they have been friends since they were teenagers.”

Despite the split, sources say Nicky and David talk regularly and have been tweeting one another.

Jeffrey, a creator of MTV series “The Hard Times of RJ Berger,” has set up KatzSmith Productions with Seth Grahame-Smith. He recently told Collider that the two are working on another MTV-scripted comedy and “trying to cross over into feature-land.”

“Right now, we’re just getting off the ground,” he said. “We have a comedy spec that we’re going out with soon. Seth is working on his next book. There’s a lot of stuff in the air right now, so we’ll see how things land and where they fall.”

Reps for Hilton and Katzenberg declined to comment.

I think I find this just as strange as when she steps out in a meat dress! It’s kind of shocking to see her dress down! But I like it! I think she looks great – and HELLO! Where did she get those boobs?
