Jesse James got some good news this week! After announcing that he and fiance Kat Von D had split, today comes some good news!
The motorcycle mogul, 42, was awarded sole custody of his daughter Sunny, 7, in an Orange County, Calif., courthouse on Monday, following a several-years-long acrimonious court battle with Sunny’s mother Janine Lindemulder.
James’s attorney John Schilling tells PEOPLE that if Lindemulder chooses to relocate to Texas to be near Sunny, she’ll be ordered to inpatient rehab. If she remains in California, she’ll only get monitored visitation of her daughter.
“Jesse feels vindicated,” Schilling says. “This is what he’s been claiming all along, that Janine needs therapy.”
Janine’s attorney didn’t immediately respond to calls for comment.
Unfortunately I saw ‘Valentine’s Day’ and I hated it. Somehow with all that talent – they managed to screw it up royally. Well, someone thought the movie needed a sequel – so here it is! ‘New Years Eve’!
The first film earned over $215 million, which makes me sad for America. But there you go – that’s the reason we have to endure another one.
Some of the same actors are back for the second film, and I’m not sure how they were talked into that (under contract?). But there’s also a gaggle of all new people this time around. People like Katherine Heigl, Halle Berry, Sarah Jessica Parker and Bon Jovi to name a few.
Again, I hope the movie is better than the original. Maybe they fixed the things that made ‘Valentine’s Day’ suck? Wait, no, Ashton Kutcher is in this movie too. Never mind.
Finally, the first look into the mega star-studded, ensemble romantic comedy, “New Year’s Eve,” has been posted, teasing the soul-mate search followup to the ultra successful, holiday themed romcom, “Valentine’s Day.” Starring, among others, Zac Efron, Lea Michele, Ashton Kutcher, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, Jessica Biel, Seth Meyers, Robert De Niro (!!!), Hilary Swank, Katherine Heigl, Josh Duhamel, Jon Bon Jovi, Sarah Jessica Parker and Abigail Breslin, it tells the tale of colliding love stories that reach their apex as the clock counts down to midnight on, you guessed it, December 31st.
The first film grossed $215 million, leaving high hopes for this epic treacle-fest, which hits theaters December 9th.

Just two days before Kristin Cavallari’s fiancé, Jay Cutler, broke off their engagement, she was glowing with excitement while trying on a series of wedding dresses at her exclusive Life & Style photo shoot. The reality star looked dazzling in gowns by Anne Bowen and Mon Cheri Bridals as she gushed about her plans for a traditional wedding and her vision of walking down the aisle in a strapless gown.
“I want a romantic, mystical wedding, with lots of flowers,” she shared with Life & Style during the shoot at LA’s Mondrian Hotel on July 21
Now, an insider close to Kristin reveals that the real trouble began the very next day—on July 22—when Jay asked her to fly back to Chicago with him the following morning.
“Kristin said she didn’t want to because she’s working on a new TV project and had a full day of shooting scheduled for Tuesday [July 26],” the insider explains. But Jay was angry about it and the argument escalated. “He told her that she needed to commit to him, and to move to Chicago,” the insider continues. When it became clear that Kristin had no intention of giving up her career in entertainment, Jay broke up with her — returning to Chicago alone on July 23.
Starting a family was also an issue between the couple, who began dating last September. “Jay’s family was pushing Kristin to get pregnant immediately,” says the insider. “Kristin knows she’s too young for kids right now.”
Still, a friend close to Kristin tells Life & Style she was stunned and heartbroken after Jay called things off. “Kristin really loved Jay. She is devastated.”
I’m sorry – but she’s devastated? He asked her to put him first – and she decided she’d rather work on her career? I would have broken off the engagement too!
We’re getting our first look at ‘Ides of March’ this morning, the new movie starring George Clooney and Ryan Gosling. The political movie will make it’s debut at the Venice Film Festival next year. Here’s more!
Using imagery from the 2008 election, in which Barack Obama raised, however briefly, the spirits and hopes of a nation, this George Clooney joint — it was adapted into screenplay, directed by and starring the already-outspoken star and advocate — explores the juxtaposing constants of public inspiration and private flaws in politics.
Clooney stars as a Presidential candidate with seemingly all the momentum, and Ryan Gosling his “up-and-coming” press secretary who, per the official synopsis, “finds himself involved in a political scandal that threatens to upend his candidate’s shot at the presidency.”
Speaking to USA Today, Clooney said that he had to wait a few years to produce the film, waiting for inevitable cynicism to creep back in after the elation following President Obama’s election. The noted liberal made it about Democrats to, in part, avoid accusations of bias, though it doesn’t quite stick to party lines.
“Of course it’s political; it takes place during a primary,” he told the paper. “But it’s more about process than platform.”
He also noted that, ‘Republicans hate the beginning of the movie, the Democrats hate the end. So we’re good.”
The film, which co-stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Marisa Tomei and Evan Rachel Wood, is set to open the Venice Film Festival on August 31st.
Sometimes sequels are better than the original. Let’s hope that’s the case with ‘G.I. Joe 2′. Channing Tatum just took to Twitter and announced, “Be prepared. #GIJOE2″ with the picture below. I didn’t see the first one – but it’s one of those movies that I was pretty confident SUCKED without actually wasting my precious time to watch. I have pretty good crappy-movie-instincts.
He’s known for his good looks – but model-turned-actor Channing Tatum has decided to sacrifice his crowning glory for the sake of his art.
It’s thought the 31-year-old star has shaved off his dark brown locks as he beings to film his role in the new GI Joe movie, Mail Online can reveal.
Also signed up alongside Channing in GI Joe: Cobra Strikes, are Sienna Miller, Ray Stevenson, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and possibly Bruce Willis as General Joe Colton.
The Rock confirmed today on his Twitter that they had started on the movie, writing: ‘Long day of prep for GI Joe. Special Forces fatigues look strong. Time for Don Julio and new episode of Hard Time.’
Actress Selma Blair and her boyfriend Jason Bleick welcomed a son, Arthur Saint Bleick, on Monday, PEOPLE reports.
Blair, like Kate Hudson before her, wasn’t saying publicly if she was going to have a girl or boy prior to the baby’s birth. “I’m not going to say what it is yet. Hopefully, it’s one or the other,” Blair had joked with the magazine.
