Rocker David Bowie and supermodel Iman have been married for 20 years, and the couple have walked the red carpet, as well as walked their children to school, and hae seen the ups and downs that a long term marriage would entail. Iman has recently opened up about her marriage to the outlandish rock star, revealing that he is quite normal when in the confines of their home and reminiscing about how David wooed her:
She’ll never forget the time Bowie proved he was different from his rock peers – by bending down and tying her shoelaces in the middle of a busy street.
She says, “I am married to David Jones. David Bowie and David Jones are two totally different people.
“I did not want to get involved with a rock star. No way. It is not a sane thing to do but David changed my mind. He wooed me.
“I remember once the laces on my trainers came undone and David was down on his knees in the middle of the street tying them for me. I thought to myself, ‘This one’s a keeper.’ He’s not an enigma at home!”

In tragically insensitive news, a woman has won an iPod from a website that was dedicated to correctly guessing the date that recently deceased British singer Amy Winehouse would die. The website was reportedly started because of Amy making headlines regarding her alcohol and substance abuse, and predictions have been pouring in since 2007.
“Since we launched this site we’ve had hundreds of thousands of hits, 237 hate mails telling us we’re the devil in disguise and 96,026 people who left their predictions,” read a note posted on the site, via E!, two days after Amy’s death. “Out of all those entries only 4 were correct. The first person to do so did it on December 21st 2007 and we’ve called her the winner of the iPod Touch. We will be contacting her via email.”
On July 23, the date of Amy’s death, the website posted:
“Amy Winehouse has passed away. Let’s hope her demise is an example for young people in how not to deal with your problems. May she Rest In Peace and her music live on.”
At least they wanted to drop some pearls of wisdom and positivity from the singer’s death…oh yeah, that and an iPod.

It’s no secret that celebrities will go to great lengths to turn back the hands of time and reverse the aging process, so it should come to no surprise that it was discovered that pop sensation Madonna reportedly purchased a $75,000 acoustic eave therapy machine to battle cellulite. The soon-to-be 53-year-old iconic singer allegedly uses the machine twice a week and records her thigh measurements, and according to a source Madonna flips out if her measurements are off by even one inch.
Madonna is so fixated on her cellulite that it has destroyed her relationship with her longtime exercise guru, Tracy Anderson.
“Tracy grew to dread the early-morning phone calls from Madonna ranting about what a useless trained she was,” according to one of Tracy’s pals.”Madonna would threaten to fire her, and Tracy had to talk her down each time.”
“The measuring and ranting used to drive her ex-husband Guy [Ritchie] crazy,” reports the insider. “He would mock her and joke that he noticed a few dimples, which he thought was tremendously funny, but she obviously didn’t.”
I’ll stick with squats and lunges, thanks.

While movers were clearing out Amy Winehouse‘s London apartment where she passed away six days ago, her father Mitch Winehouse was spotted giving away his daughter’s clothes to fans that were patiently waiting outside to catch a glimpse of anything related to the beloved singer.

…everybody’s favorite drunken karaoke jam, Journey’s ‘Don’t Stop Believin’.’ After the popular music show Glee performed the hit song during the first season of the show back in 2009, the song has made a resurgence in popularity. To celebrate the honor, the group got together in New York City to perform the hit for fans:
The bandmembers performed live on the streets of New York on Friday (29Jul11) as part of U.S. morning show Today’s summer concert series and they were presented with a special plaque to commemorate the feat, which was certified by analysts at media research company Nielsen SoundScan.
Friday was also a big day for fans of Eighties icons Debbie Gibson and I Think We’re Alone Now star Tiffany – the pop duo entertained crowds at the city’s famed Central Park for rival breakfast show, Good Morning America.
If you’ve gotten this far and you haven’t begun humming the tune, please tell me your secret.
