Soon-to-be-mommy Natalie Portman gifted her dancer/choreographer fiance, Benjamin Millepied, with a rare black and white print while shopping in New York.

Life&Style reports:

“They went on a shopping trip to the posh upstate New York town of Hudson, and at the Jonathan Hallam antiques store, Benjamin fell in love with a beautiful photo of some ballerinas. He adored this iconic Philippe Halsman print of eight ballerinas posing on a beach.”

So Natalie connected the dots to surprise her beau:

“From the store, she rang her art dealer, who said it was a great investment and she should buy it. The price, $900, was fantastic too.”

The store didn’t take credit cards,, but that’s was no deterrent for her:

“She was so excited to buy it for, she ran to the local bank to take out $900 in cash to pay for the piece. Benjamin was so happy!”

Actor Billy Bob Thornton‘s daughter Amanda Brumfield has been found guilty in Orlando, Flor., for aggravated manslaughter of a 1-year-old girl. The 32-year-old woman has been estranged from her father, and is scheduled to be sentenced in July.

The Orlando Sentinel reports that Amanda was tried in the same courthouse and the highly publicized Casey Anthony trial, where a mother is accused of killing her 2-year-old daughter:

“In contrast to the more high-profile Casey Anthony trial, expected to drag on for months in a courtroom 13 floors above it, the Brumfield trial took less than a week.”

In Amanda’s case, the prosecutors claimed that she killed the young girl, her best friend’s daughter, while babysitting in 2008. Amanda has alwsays claimed that the child hit her head after climbing out of her playpen. Prosecutors vehemently disagreed, saying that a fall from such a short height wouldn’t have caused the swelling on her brain and the severe, three-and-a-half inch fracture on the back of her head.

Janice Dickinson was hamming it up for the cameras as usual as she was spotted in Beverly Hills, Calif., getting her nails done. The 56-year-old former model flirted with the photogs as she received her spa treatments.

According to the National Enquirer, doctors informed the singer that she is suffering from early stages of the lung disease, an obvious culprit to Houston’s poorly received vocal performances, as of late.

“She’s developed emphysema — and her doctors are warning her she’ll die a horrible death,” a friend of the singer told the Enquirer.
