Separated couple Courteney Cox and David Arquette were spotted at the ‘Beacher’s Madhouse’ show at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood. The two are said to still be reconciling their relationship now that David has completed rehab and is allegedly sober.
Jay-Z is busy renovating his 40/40 Club in Mahanttan, and he’s just given one of his staff members a promotion of a lifetime. His personal chef, Mike Shand, has worked for the rapper for years now, and Jay-Z has just made him head chef of the restaurant/nightclub.
Jay-Z’s rep reports that the chef has already begun putting together the menu for the restaurant, and has included all of his bosses favorites, including Baja-style catfish.
“[Jay] knew that Mike would be able to improve upon the current menu in ways that had the Jay-Z seal of approval because many are dishes that he eats himself on a daily basis.”
I wonder if Beyonce will get her favorites included on the menu as well? Since she’s been calling herself ‘King B’ lately, I would only assume that she’ll get a little something, too.
X-Men: First Class cutie James McAvoy was snapped in London, England yesterday, June 2, looking scruffy as he was visiting the Graham Norton show at ITV studios.

…if he had the strength. Jack Kevorkian‘s longtime friend Geoffrey Fieger stated that if the suicide advocate doctor had the strength to take his own life, he would have done it in a heartbeat.
While speaking at a news conference, Geoffrey explained:
“I think had he been able to go home, Jack would have not allowed himself to go back to the hospital.[...]The circumstances were such that he was so weak he could not get out of the hospital, he was primarily sleeping most of the time.”
Though the cause of death has yet to be released, it had been known that Kevorkian suffered from kidney and respiratory problems.
Marky Mark Mark Wahlberg was spotted out and about with his wife, Rhea Durham, and his son, little Michael Wahlberg, shopping in Los Angeles while playing it cool with the paps.
If actor Jeremy Piven thought that his celebrity smile was going to get him out of a traffic ticket yesterday, he was very wrong. While cruising in Los Angeles, cop cited Piven for what the Entourage star claims was a registration issue and then said, “there’s no problem actually.”
The cop wouldn’t give the goods on why the actor was really ticketed, and when he was asked if Piven was the most famous star that he’d ever pulled over, the officer claimed that he didn’t even know who Jeremy Piven was!
Ouch.
