One of my biggest pet peeves is shows that cling on waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long, overstaying their welcome (Desperate Housewives!?). I can appreciate a show being taken off the air before things get strange (Nip/Tuck). So I understand the need to end ‘Mad Men‘ before it gets to that point. I’m just sad to see there IS an end date. I want it to go on forever – perfectly!

With the contentious, near-fatal contract negotiations between “Mad Men” creator/executive producer Matthew Weiner and AMC finally resulting in a new, three season contract, a timeline for the Emmy-winning show’s completion was set. It’s longer than Weiner originally envisioned, but the important part, star Jon Hamm says, is that the show will indeed end. He wouldn’t have it any other way.

“I think it should end. Everything should end. I was a big fan of ‘The Office’ over here because it ended,” he told the BBC in a new interview. And though the show is affording him his first opportunity to direct — he’ll helm the first episode of the fifth season, set to debut in January — he has no clue. at this point, what he’ll actually be directing.

“I don’t think they exist,” he said of the season five scripts. “The way Matthew writes the show is very organically. He starts when he starts and eventually there are scripts but I certainly haven’t seen them.”

In the meantime, Hamm can enjoy the trappings of his recent ascent to stardom. That includes visits to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner — and some laughs at the expense of Donald Trump.

“[Obama] was amazing. And I had kind of the best seat the house because I was sitting sort of right behind Donald Trump’s table,” Hamm said of his visit to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in a recent interview with Conan O’Brien. “And watching that dude who has no problem telling people what to do and giving people trouble, he didn’t take it very well. Laugh!”

So looks like three more seasons!

Jennifer Lopez appeared in a strange snakeskin getup for the Capital Radio Summertime Ball, at Wembley Stadium on Sunday (June 12) in London, England.

The 41-year-old American Idol judge and entertainer finished her look with over-the-knee Louboutin boots!

J.Lo arrived in London on a private plane with her little ones, Max and Emme, on Thursday.

Later in the week, she performed “On The Floor” on the UK version of So You Think You Can Dance.

I’m not a fan of this outfit at all…. I could have handled the dress – without the boots, or the boots without the dress. But put them together – and it’s just too dang much snake!

When I saw these pictures of Lily Allen in her Delphine Manivet wedding gown, I thought to myself, awwwww she looks so beautiful! Then I read that shortly after the ceremony, which took place on Saturday, it was announced that she is pregnant again. This seems so quick, considering she suffered a miscarriage at six months in November!

I’m nervous for her! She’s had more than one miscarriage, and with the last one happening six months into her pregnancy, I would be so scared! Good for her – going for her dream though. She looks absolutely beautiful here!

Lily Allen has two things to smile about.

The singer, 26, married Sam Cooper at St. James the Great Church in Gloucestershire, England, on Saturday – and the newlyweds are expecting a baby, according to reports.

Dressed in a gown with long lace sleeves and a fishtail skirt by French designer Delphine Manivet, the bride was given away by her father, Keith Allen, and then carried a bouquet of white roses as she made her way out of the church with her new husband to a waiting car as a crowd cheered.

“It’s beautiful that she is pregnant, and I am very happy for her. She is very happy about that – it is something wonderful,” Manivet told British paper The Telegraph. “For me, and for her too, when you’re pregnant you want to show that, but also be respectful, so the dress was perfect for her for that moment.”

Cooper revealed the happy baby news to wedding guests, according to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

A rep for Allen could not be reached.

The baby news comes seven months after Allen and Cooper announced her heartbreaking miscarriage.

The wedding, which took place in the village of Cranham in the English countryside, was no secret. Allen’s wedding date was leaked to the press by an unknown guest, who sent the save-the-date card to British newspapers in March.

On Friday, Allen and Cooper were spotted arriving at the church for their rehearsal. Allen’s dad, an actor and musician, was also spotted with a ukulele – perhaps planning to serenade the happy couple.

Cooper, a decorator and business owner, popped the question during a romantic getaway last Christmas.

Ashlee Simpson and her ex hubby, rocker Pete Wentz were all smiles as they cordially came together to spend an afternoon with 2-year-old son Bronx Mowgli and friends. The family attended a party in Sherman Oaks together before heading to Tough Cookies kids boutique in Studio City, where Pete did some shopping for their little guy.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $500,000 to the Community Foundation of the Ozarks to help with cleanup following last month’s tornadoes in Missouri.

Brad is a native of Missouri, and at one point lived in Joplin! The couple were deeply touched by the natural disaster, and were moved to help. They both released a statement:

“With the devastating loss of thirty percent of the city, the Joplin community faces great challenges ahead. Having spent much of my childhood there, I know these people to be hardworking, humble and especially resilient. The locally based Community Foundation of the Ozarks will be working shoulder to shoulder with these Joplin residents for the long haul as they rebuild their lives. We, too, hope to further help with these rebuilding efforts.” – Brad

“Last year 42 million people worldwide were displaced by natural disasters. So often these disasters seem far away, but now the need is for thousands of people displaced right here at home. Our hearts go out to the families in Joplin who have lost so much.” – Angelina
