Angelina Jolie, who is Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), has just released a public service announcement, in advance of World Refugee Day on June 20.

Jolie urges everyone to “Do One Thing” to help refugees.

The PSA begins, “Every day thousands of people run from war, persecution and terror. Even one it too many. 1 family forced to flee is too many. 1 child growing up in a camp is too many. 1 refugee without hope is too many. Do 1 thing.”

After it was reported yesterday that Amber Portwood had been admitted to the hospital after an alleged suicide attempt, MTV is weighing in on the rumors surrounding the reality mom.

MTV says: “Our understanding is that Amber has been admitted to a local hospital but we have not been able to confirm the accuracy of any reports being circulated and are waiting for further details. Our thoughts are with her and we hope to hear more soon.”

A friend close to Amber told OK! that she is now stabilized and awake, adding that she’d been taking morphine recently to deal with the pressures of filming and her custody battle for her daughter, Leah, who has been with dad Gary Shirley.

Amber’s situation hasn’t been very good lately, as the source tells OK!, “She can’t handle not seeing Leah. She really only gets to see her maybe once a week for an hour, and that’s it. And it’s supervised by the CPS.”

Another insider tells OK!, “It’s very serious. Amber and her family want her privacy respected during this difficult time. No one is sure exactly what happened as the story keeps changing so everyone is sorting through the facts.”

Oscar winning Natalie Portman has just welcomed a baby boy, according to People.

Portman, 30, met choreographer Millepied on the set of Black Swan, for which she later won an Oscar for Best Actress.

In December the couple announced that they were engaged and expecting their first child.

The actress, who went back to vegetarianism during her pregnancy, kept the sex of her baby under wraps.

“People can say a lot of things and they have a 50 percent chance of being right,” she teased. “I’m Jewish and, I think in Judaism, there’s a lot of superstition around not doing too much before the baby comes.”

As for her post-delivery plans, Portman intends on taking some well-deserved time off.

“I’ll be out of the public eye after [the baby's born],” Portman told PEOPLE, adding that she would figure out future career opportunities “as it comes.”

Hey, boys around the world! Pippa Middleton is single and on the market! The 27-year-old gal just broke up with Alex Loudon after their year-long relationship.

“After lengthy conversations, they’ve taken what they call a ‘permanent break,’” one insider close to the couple tells Us. Duchess Kate’s little sister met Loudon, a 30-year-old cricketeer turned finance whiz, on a blind date set up by mutual pals.

“They hope to stay friends,” adds a second source. “They’re doing their best to move on in a dignified manner.”

How is the handsome ex taking the news? “Alex is upset but getting on,” a friend tells Us.

Although social butterfly Pippa has seemingly relished her newfound spotlight, Loudon’s “life was turned upside down” ever since he was the outgoing, ever-stylish Maid of Honor’s date for the royal wedding on April 29, his pal says.

Even before the confirmed breakup, Middleton set tongues wagging for her wedding day chemistry with Prince Harry (who’s happily ensconced with love Chelsy Davy) and recent bonding time in Madrid and London with close friend/coworker George Percy.

So it should come as no surprise that the first place Kim and fiancé Kris Humphries registered for their big day is at the super posh (and, it follows, super expensive) Gearys of Beverly Hills—and a cursory crunching of the numbers reveals that their lavish taste comes with a hefty price tag: should the couple receive everything they asked for, it will set their nearest and dearest back a whopping $172,000.

And yes, their rep confirms that the registry (so far, still viewable to the public) is the real deal. But what about that wedding date they included in their profile? Did Kim just inadvertently spill the beans on her big day?

Not a chance!

While the otherwise legit registry boasts a wedding date of Oct. 31, 2011, a source close to the couple insists that Kim and Kris have no plans to tie the knot on Halloween.

“That’s just a joke. They’re not announcing the real date just yet.” A bride is allowed to keep some things under wraps, after all.
