It seems like every day I get online these days there’s some story about some celeb angering people, and those people screaming for an apology. Doesn’t it? Every single day someone says something to upset SOMEONE. Which begs the question (I ask every time): Are people getting too sensitive? I can see how James’ comment was simply meant to be funny.
As of when this story was written, over 17,000 fans flooded his Facebook page with complaints.
What do you think? Does it matter what his intentions were? Does he owe an apology?
The “You’re Beautiful” singer enraged fans by posing outside a dilapidated building near former Nazi death camp Auschwitz, and writing on his Facebook page: “Uh, this is my hotel in Poland,” reports The Daily Mail.
Since the photo went up on Saturday, Blunt’s Facebook page has been flooded with more than 17,000 comments and complaints regarding the bizarre remark made during his stay in Oświęcim, where Auschwitz is located.
According to The Daily Mail, the singer was actually staying in five-star accommodations throughout his tour, which included a stop at the Life Festival at Mosir Stadium, just a few miles from the site where hundreds of thousands were killed more than 60 years ago.
Despite the barrage of negative comments from fans the photo remains on Blunt’s Facebook page.

Jake Gyllenhaal is going wild! The actor has joined up with survival expert Bear Grylls for an episode of an upcoming episode of ‘Man vs. Wild’!
According to The Discovery Channel, the duo heads to Iceland together for the season premiere of the hit survival show, where they find themselves surrounded by active volcanoes and massive glaciers in the hard Icelandic landscape.
So why did the Academy Award-nominated actor decide to make the trip with Grylls?
“For me, it’s all about discovery,” Gyllenhaal said of the experience, while Grylls added that the actor held his own during the trek.
“The wild is always very revealing — not only physically but mentally. You’ve got to smile when it’s driving horizontal hail and be able to face your fears and just get on and do it — and on both of those accounts, Jake came up strong,” Grylls added.
This isn’t the first time a celebrity joined Grylls on one of his survival trips. Funnyman Will Ferrell teamed up with Grylls for a wilderness trip to Northern Sweden in 2009.
Gyllenhaal’s episode premieres July 11 on The Discovery Channel.
This doesn’t surprise me. I can totally see Jake doing the show. I’m going to set my DVR now!

This whole story is so tragic, and I really hope there is a lesson that’s being learned here. Drinking and driving is so devastating. These poor families!
“Jackass” star Ryan Dunn was not the only person to die in the tragic car crash in West Goshen Township, Pennsylvania early Monday. He had a passenger, whose identity has now been revealed.
The passenger was Zachary Hartwell, one of the men posing in the photos Dunn posted to Twitter of himself drinking with friends just hours before the crash. A 30-year old from West Chester, PA, he was a stunt car driver in Bam Margera’s 2009 film, “Minghags.”
The pair died in a fiery crash at around 2:38 Monday morning. Dunn may have been speeding at the time, and though he had been drinking alcohol, the initial police report did not indicate that intoxication was suspected as part of the reason for the crash.
As a mother myself, I can’t imagine what it’s like to bury your child.

Only three weeks ago, Sean Kingston was the victim of a near-fatal jet ski accident. The singer took to his Twitter account yesterday to show the world that he’s feeling much better!
Typing out his first tweet since the May 29 accident, the ‘Beautiful Girls’ singer appeared to be in good spirits, exclaiming, “Feeling alot better! GOD IS GREAT! Thanks for all the prayers and support! Love you ALL!” Kingston attached a healthy-looking photo of himself from the hospital to accompany the tweet, throwing up a peace sign and looking a few pounds lighter.
The 21-year old Jamaican-American singer injured himself in Miami over the Memorial Day holiday, when he crashed his newly-purchased jet ski into a bridge, while riding with a female companion. After losing his life jacket, he was rescued from the water, and immediately rushed to the Ryder Trauma Center of Miami’s Jackson Memorial Hospital.
Although he was initially listed in critical condition, he has made a swift recovery, breathing on his own, communicating via sign language and even walking on his own, just a week and a half after the crash.
Doctors have said that they expect him to make a full recovery within the next six months.
He looks 12 years old in that picture!

Yesterday ‘Jackass’ actor Ryan Dunn died in a car accident after he reportedly drove while drunk.
Only hours later did film critic Roger Ebert tweet, “Friends don’t let Jackasses drink and drive.”
Almost immediately he was hounded by tweets from fans of the late actor, calling out Ebert for his inappropriate and insensitive comment. Fans were calling for Ebert to apologize late into the evening.
At 8:00 last night, Ebert followed up his original tweet, and he’s not sorry for what he said. “Perez Hilton’s readers agree with me and not with Perez about my tweet on Ryan Dunn. He drank, he drove, 2 people died.”
(I like how Perez Hilton is the moral judgement in this case… Well, if Perez agrees with you then you’re good!)
To say that Ryan’s friends were upset with Roger is the understatement of the year. Fellow ‘Jackass’ star Bam Margera tweeted, “I just lost my best friend, I have been crying hysterical for a full day and piece of s**t roger ebert has the gall to put in his 2 cents. About a jackass drunk driving and his is one, f**k you! Millions of people are crying right now, shut your fat f**king mouth!”
