After 11 years of marriage, Courteney Cox and David Arquette announced last fall that they were taking a trial separation—but the couple is not giving up hope. Life & Style has learned that Courteney met up with David for counseling at a therapist’s office in LA on May 5. “They’re in therapy,” an insider close to Courteney confirms to Life & Style. “She and David still do a lot together, so it’s not surprising that they would go to therapy together. They’re co-parenting Coco, no matter what the status of their relationship is.”
“They were very civil with each other,” an eyewitness says after spotting the two entering the building on May 5.
Courtney has made no secret about being a huge advocate of couples counseling. “I get shocked by people getting divorced all the time; that’s why I choose to work on it,” Courteney has said about marriage. “Therapy helps us.”

On Mother’s Day, Reese Witherspoon was spotted leaving church with her family, and a surprise foot injury left everyone guessing!
“She twisted her ankle and is in a walking cast temporarily. Nothing serious,” Witherspoon’s rep tells PEOPLE.
35-year-old Reese was married last March at her Ojai, California home.

Oh no!! This is awful!
After being married for 25 years, one of Hollywood’s biggest power couples, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver have split up, according to a joint statement.
“This has been a time of great personal and professional transition for each of us,” they say. “After a great deal of thought, reflection, discussion, and prayer, we came to this decision together.
“At this time, we are living apart, while we work on the future of our relationship,” they continue. “We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives. ”
Shriver, 55, a TV journalist and member of the Kennedy dynasty, and Schwarzenegger, 63, the Austrian-born bodybuilder/action movie hero who became a Republican California governor, have seemed like an unlikely couple since they married in 1986.
They had four children, ages 14, 18, 20 and 21, and long projected the image of a close and loving couple, despite – and sometimes even because of – their differences. During a 2003 political campaign, Shriver strongly defended her husband against allegations he had a history of groping women while he was an actor, and Schwarzenegger went on to become governor.
Schwarzenegger left the governor’s office last January after an increasingly difficult term, and there have been reports he’ll re-start his movie career, including a role in another Terminator film.
It always surprises me when couples split after being together for that long. You’ve come so far – and can’t make it work? Just makes me so sad!

Justin Bieber isn’t going to take being insulted sitting down. Marg Helgenberger recently went on a French radio station and gave an interview about working with Justin on a recent episode of CSI. She said the singer was “kind of a brat” when he guest starred on “CSI” last fall, saying he “locked one of the producers in a closet” and “put his fist through a cake that was on the cast’s table.”
But Justin disagrees. He Tweeted, “it’s kinda lame when someone you met briefly and never worked with comments on you. I will continue to wish them luck and be kind.”
The teen singer added, “I know who i am and sometimes people r just going 2 say what they want. Keep ur head up and be the man ur mama raised. #killemwithkindness.”

According to TVLine, ‘Gossip Girl’ actresses Taylor Momsen (Jenny) and Jessica Szohr (Vanessa) will not be returning for season five of the hit WB show.
A source close to the show confirms that the two actresses will not be returning as series regulars for the CW soap’s upcoming fifth season, but added that both have been invited back on a guest star basis.
The insider also confirms that GG‘s core five — Blake Lively (Serena), Leighton Meester (Blair) Penn Badgley (Dan), Ed Westwick (Chuck) and Chace Crawford (Nate) — will all be back in the fall. Additionally, Kaylee DeFer — who joined the cast this spring as Serena’s rabble-rousing cousin Charlie — has been promoted to series regular status.
The departures of Momsen and Szohr hardly come as a complete surprise. Momsen — who has made no secret of her desire to make music her primary focus — has appeared in only a handful of episodes this season. Similarly, Szohr’s alter ego has been given little to do save for a little eavesdropping and meddling here and there. What’s more, Vanessa recently revealed that she was leaving town to study abroad.
What do you think about this news? Do you still watch ‘Gossip Girl’? What are your feelings?
