‘Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ star separated from husband of seven years!

In news that should surprise absolutely no one, Taylor Armstrong of ‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ has not-so-secretly separated from her husband of seven years. The last we heard of this couple was that Russell was experiencing serious “cash flow problems” after filing for bankruptcy five years ago.

According to sources not only is Russell being sued by several investors for bilking them, they are also living in a rented home, and have been convicted for felony tax evasion. Good thing Taylor throws $60,000 birthday parties!

A source tells the new issue of Us Weekly (on stands now) that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has secretly separated from her banker husband of seven years.

“They’ve had huge marital problems related to finances,” the insider says of the pair, who were seen together with daughter Kennedy, 5, at a May 7 Lollipop Theater Network event in Burbank, Calif.

The couple’s marital problems are nothing new: Bravo viewers watched them bicker constantly during the show’s first season, and Taylor even likened their marriage to a business arrangement.

Still, the recent split is taking a physical toll on Taylor. “She’s emaciated — down 10, 15 pounds,” a source tells Us.

The Real Housewives drama doesn’t end there. New cast member Brandi Glanville, 38 — Eddie Cibrian’s ex — and Kyle Richards, 42, have been “going at it” since filming began on season 2. “They got into a fight and Brandi lunged at Kyle,” a source says. “They had to be separated by producers.

I cannot wait for the new season to start! With the addition of Eddie Cibrian’s ex – it’s gonna be good!

Rachel McAdams at the ‘Midnight in Paris’ photocall in Cannes!

Rachel McAdams, Adrien Brody and Owen Wilson arrive at the 64th Annual Cannes Film Festival to take part in a photo call for their new movie, ‘Midnight in Paris’.

Rachel looks absolutely stunning in a dress by Maxime Simoens. I’m glad she’s gone back to blonde, she had dyed her hair brown for a couple films. She just looks beautiful as a blonde!

Wish I could say Adrien looks good, but what the heck! He looks like a greasy pencil in black! Not hot.

Owen looks great – being a dad really suits him!

Midnight in Paris: Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, and Carla Bruni star in Woody Allen’s romantic comedy about a family on a business trip in the City of Light. As a young couple engaged to be married experiences a profound transformation during their visit to Paris, an idealistic man with a romanticized view of the city finds that there’s plenty of truth to that old adage about the grass being greener on the other side. Michael Sheen, Mimi Kennedy, and Kurt Fuller co-star.

Lady Gaga turns heads at 64th Cannes Film Festival!

Lady Gaga is set to perform today on the French show “Le Grand Journal” during the Cannes Film Festival. She Tweeted, “In the glass of a Parisienne boudoir getting ready for BornThisWayMadness.”

She’s been a very busy woman.

On Monday night in New York City, Gaga took the stage at the Robin Hood Foundation benefit in New York. Sarah Jessica Parker, Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber were among the Hollywood heavyweights on hand to watch her perform at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, and she didn’t disappoint.

“Besides being immensely talented, Lady Gaga is immensely smart and immensely giving,” David Saltzman, executive director of the Robin Hood Foundation, told MTV News. “She grew up in New York City aware of the disparity between those who have and those who have not, and she is, thank goodness, devoting her money and time and efforts to people who haven’t been fortunate. Everything she sang brought the house down. She’s Lady Gaga.”

Saltzman credits the partnership between the Robin Hood Foundation and Lady Gaga for shedding more light on the organization, which helps out homeless youth in New York.

“More than 4,000 people came together to save the lives of people in need,” Saltzman said about the event. “We’re thrilled that all sorts of people joined forces last night, some of whom happened to be celebrities. They were all blessed by good fortune.”

So how does one get all those people together in one room? “Lot of begging, a lot of praying,” he joked. “It’s a big undertaking, and we’re thrilled to do it. We raised more than $47 million to help poor New Yorkers … as a result, thousands and thousands of lives will be saved.”

Taylor Swift: “I accept the fact that this is my life”

Country sweetheart, Taylor Swift makes an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show” today.  Ellen chats with Taylor about how she handles living in the public eye.  Plus, Taylor premiered her newest single ” The Story of Us.”

Ellen: So how old are you, 21?

Taylor: Yeah.

Ellen: 21. So imagine going through relationships when you’re that age and what that’s like, much less in the public eye.  Everybody gets to see pictures because everyone gets pictures, you know, paparazzi catches you with somebody.  We get to see all these things happen but there are also feelings and all kinds of weird stuff that happened that you’re feeling.  And you’re living it out in front of us.  It’s got to be hard.

Taylor: I think it’s just obnoxious if I complain about anything…I hear people talk about like, oh, the intrusions on my privacy.  It’s like there are a million other jobs you could have had.  And for me, I’ve just come to an acceptance of the fact, this is my life.  If somebody wants to hide a relationship or has privacy issues then we don’t have the same viewpoint.  For me, it’s just like live your life. If people happen to take picture then you know, you laugh about it in the car afterwards.

I appreciate the fact that she realizes fame and the paparazzi come with the territory. I’m so tired of celebs that bitch about being constantly watched/talked about. It comes with the territory!

Watch Taylor on Ellen today!

Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas promote ‘Puss in Boots’ in Cannes!

Salma Hayek and Antonio Banderas, the voices behind the ‘Shrek’ spin-off ‘Puss in Boots’ were on hand in Cannes this morning to promote the new film.

The Washington Post gave an interesting interview this morning:

Getting older in Hollywood and being Hispanic, they are no longer the limitations they once were, say Antonio Banderas and Salma Hayek. After all, they wonder, when have Hispanic actors ever landed such big feline roles as the leads in the animated adventure “Puss in Boots”?

“When I started out, Hispanic roles were very limited,” Hayek said Wednesday at the Cannes Film Festival, where she and Banderas joined DreamWorks Animation overseers to show off footage of “Puss in Boots,” a “Shrek” spinoff coming this November. “Roles were very limited. There were one or two kinds of characters you used to do. Now we get to play the cats! It’s OK to be a Hispanic, even if you are a cat.”

“Cats were British, normally,” Banderas added at a question-and-answer session alongside Hayek after the footage screened.

“I feel very proud, actually,” Banderas said of his role in expanding the types of parts open to Hispanic performers. “I never pretended when I first went to Hollywood to be a guy from Oklahoma. I am what I am. And fortunately, the Spanish community in the United States has grown in the last 22 years that I have been there. There has been an explosion in Hollywood, which is a reflection of the society in which we live.”

After the footage showed, Banderas and Hayek headed to a pier along the Mediterranean beach, where they posed for photos on a giant pair of boots bearing the movie’s title. Banderas reprises his voice role from the last three “Shrek” films, providing the voice of Puss in Boots, the tiny cat with the big heart, big ideas and bigger ego.

A prequel chronicling Puss’ adventures before meeting ogre Shrek, the movie has the cat as an outlaw, looking to pull off a big score. But his scheme is interrupted by another calculating cat, Kitty Softpaws (voiced by Hayek), who is in league with Puss’ pal-turned-foe Humpty Dumpty (Zach Galifianakis), as they try to swipe the magic beans of the “Jack and the Beanstalk” fairy tale from beastly bandits Jack and Jill (Billy Bob Thornton and Amy Sedaris).
