$1.7 on a car? Really? How about donating that $1.7 to the charity event you’re going to – and take a limo instead.
I find it a bit tacky.
“Macho Man” Randy Savage died today in a car accident in Tampa, Florida. He was 58.
TMZ reports Savage’s brother Lanny Poffo confirmed the WWF legend suffered a heart attack behind the wheel.
Savage was an enormous presence in the professional wrestling world during the 1980s and 1990s, also gaining recognition as a spokesperson for Slim Jim, and became a superstar with his trademark catchphrase “Ooooooh Yeaahhhhh.”
Florida Highway Patrol tells TMZ … Savage was driving his 2009 Jeep Wrangler when he veered across a concrete median … through oncoming traffic … and “collided head-on with a tree.”
Savage was transported to Largo Medical center, where he died from his injuries.
Savage’s wife was a passenger in the vehicle during the collision — but survived with “minor injuries.” She was transported to a different local hospital where she was treated.
