Actress and dancer, Julianne Hough, goes 80′s as she rollerblades around the set of Rock of Ages in Miami with her co-actor.

The 22-year-old former ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pro looks adorable on set.

In the film, Julianne plays Sherrie, a small-town girl who moves to Hollywood in pursuit of a glittering acting career but ends up working at a bar owned by Dennis Dupree, played by Alec Baldwin.

Movie highlights are set to include Julianne’s scenes with ‘bad boy rocker’, Stacee Jaxx, played by Tom Cruise, who her character has an affair with.

Rock of Ages will be the second movie that Julianne will star in after completing work on the new version of Eighties classic, Footloose.

Footloose was her first lead role in a movie, reprising the role made famous by Lori Singer in the the 1984 classic, which propelled its star Kevin Bacon into the limelight.

Julianne, who made her big screen debut in last year’s Burlesque, says fans will get to see a new side of her.

‘People are going to see my performance rather than the glitz,’ she told USA Today.

‘This is hometown-girl hot. I’m definitely wearing some tight jeans in this movie.’

But whether the remake can match up to the magic of the original – which launched the career of Kevin Bacon – remains to be seen.
The update of the iconic 1984 dance flick will open in October with a new cast including professional dancer Kenny Wormald, who takes over Bacon’s role of Rem MacCormack.

It will be interested to see if she can act!

Lindsay Lohan was spotted in Miami over the weekend, where the 24-year-old actress was posing for a magazine photo shoot.

She was spotted on the rooftop of the Raleigh Hotel in Miami, Florida having her picture taken for an upcoming spread in Plum Miami Magazine.

Hours later, Lindsay was spotted sunning herself at her hotel’s pool and drinking a bottle of water.

Dressed in a black and white bikini, Lilo lounged in the sun with a group of friends and her sister Ali.

But she expressed her frustration with gawkers and paparazzi that gathered to snap her picture.

She tweeted: ‘Cant i just be with my sister @ a pool and have our salad!!!!! grrrrr met the sweetest girl whos 17 and has a child,…’

Evangeline Lilly has given birth to a baby boy! It’s the “Lost” actresses first child. The baby boy’s father  is her boyfriend, Norman Kali, who worked with Lilly on “Lost” as a production assistant.

News of Lilly’s pregnancy only emerged a month ago when the actress was spotted in Hawaii with a big baby bump.

Ginnifer Goodwin is single again!

After a brief engagement, Something Borrowed’s Ginnifer Goodwin has split from Super Troopers actor Joey Kern, a source tells PEOPLE.

The former Big Love star, 32, and Kern, 34, “broke up a few weeks ago,” says the source, adding that the pair intend to remain friends.

The actors were engaged last December after they were set up by a mutual friend.

That’s too bad, sorry to hear they’ve broken up. I love her!

Ashton Kutcher has signed on to replace Charlie Sheen on the CBS hit ‘Two and a Half Men. But according to sources, there’s a chance his stay won’t be long.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Kutcher’s contract with Warner Brothers Television — the company that produces “Men” for CBS — is only for one year. It’s a lucrative year, paying him about $20 million, but with the show only licensed by the network for one more season, Kutcher didn’t commit beyond that.

It’s a smart play; no one knows how the show will do without Sheen, and if it is a critical and ratings dud, Kutcher isn’t committed to staying on to a sinking ship if it is still renewed. And if it does well, as he and CBS are hoping and expecting, he can then negotiate for a higher salary. After all, Sheen was making about $2 million per episode before getting fired.

Still, with tough negotiations on the horizon, Kutcher and CBS are playing very, very nice in the press.

“In my 13 years in show business, I’ve never received more emails and phone calls from people congratulating me for this job. You almost think I’ve won the lotto … which I kind of did,” Kutcher said at last week’s CBS upfront presentation. “I got the best job in show business and I’m exited about that.”
