When Kirstie Alley appears on the finale of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ tonight, fans will be see an incredibly smaller dancer.

The incredibly shrinking actress is planning on wearing the same black dress she wore when the ABC hit premiered in March. Kirstie has reportedly lost so much weight that the dress will have to be altered. The dress had to have a shocking 38 inches taken off in order for her to wear it again. 38 inches!

The 60-year-old will wear the costume when she reprises her opening-night dance, the cha-cha, with dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Alley has been noticeably shrinking week after week, but she was coy when asked after performing in a skin-tight bodysuit Monday how much weight she has lost during her two and a half months on the show.

“There will be some reveal of that at some point, but I really didn’t care,” she said. “As long as I kept changing and changing and changing, I really didn’t care. It was like, keep whittling, whittling, whittling. And the other thing that’s really more significant to me – I mean, I love the whittling, I like being skinny – I’m really strong and really agile and it gave me a new life.”

Alley’s costumes have gotten progressively smaller and skimpier as she has continued on the show.

“We are constantly taking in and altering Kirstie’s costumes,” said designer Randall Christensen. “Isn’t she looking incredible?!”

The one-time “Fat Actress” wowed in a body-hugging catsuit during her freestyle dance Monday. After the performance, Judge Carrie Ann Inaba told Alley that she has become “the new poster child for life as it should be lived at 60 years old.”

A new “Dancing” champ will be named Tuesday. Alley is up against actress Chelsea Kane and football star Hines Ward.

President Obama and the First Lady stopped by Buckinham Palace to meet with the newlywed Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, who are just back from their Seychelles honeymoon!

The Obamas are currently touring overseas.

According to PEOPLE, Prince William and Kate Middleton briefly spoke with President and Michelle Obama, before they headed to a special luncheon hosted by Queen Elizabeth.

It is believed the couples talked about the recent Royal Wedding, and the Brit’s upcoming California visit, scheduled for July.

However, though they are certainly worldwide celebrities, Will and Kate are not working members of the Royal Family and were not present on the steps of Buckingham Palace to officially greet the American President and First Lady with the Queen.

They were also absent from the special luncheon and will not attend tonight’s State Banquet, where over 200 royals and dignitaries will gather for dinner.

Will and Kate recently returned from their honeymoon in the Seychelles, which is said to have cost $700,000.

Here’s news that probably won’t surprise you… Emily Maynard and Brad Womack have broken up – for good. The winner of ‘The Bachelor’ has reportedly returned her engagement ring.

According to US Weekly, Maynard was spotted in North Carolina over the weekend without the ring Womack gave her on ‘The Bachelor’ finale. An insider claims Emily returned the ring to ABC.

Sources claim that the couple’s long-distance relationship was just too hard to continue, with a source telling Us, “It’s completely over now.”

Maynard is reported to have initiated the breakup, which happened about two weeks ago after she visited Womack’s home in Austin, Texas, in a last-ditch attempt to save their relationship.

“Emily is happy in Charlotte [North Carolina] and is not moving to Austin with [her 5-year-old daughter] Ricki,” a source told Us. “She is content.”

The breakup comes as no surprise to those keeping tabs on the reality couple. Trouble has been brewing in paradise since the March finale, where the couple’s body language gave some clues into their icy relationship.

I think I’d be more surprised these days if a Bachelor couple actually DID make it – rather than if they broke up. It’s just not surprising anymore.
