According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan has been offered the role of murder victim Sharon Tate, in an upcoming movie about Charles Manson.

The movie’s called “Eyes of a Dreamer” and is being produced by Brad Wyman … one of the guys who did “Monster” with Charlize Theron.

The part of Charles Manson will be played by celeb photographer Tyler Shields — whose work you might recognize — and get this … Tyler’s directing the whole shebang.

So far, no word on whether Lindsay will accept.

Apparently Charlie Sheen wasn’t #winning in Detroit, when his “Violent Torpedo of Truth” tour kicked off.

Shortly after Charlie took the stage on Saturday, he was booed off, ending his first show abruptly.

After being heckled and booed, Charlie stopped the show. Many of the audience members were chanting “refund” as the headed for the exits.

Detroit was the first of 20 cities to host Charlie’s show. The night began with applause, but ended just 70 minutes later. Charlie reportedly tried to appease the audience – at one point even bringing out his friend Simon Rex, who began rapping. He ultimately chalked up the first show as “an experiment”.

The former “Two and a Half Men” star learned firsthand at Detroit’s 5,100-seat Fox Theatre that show business still requires a show. The debacle called into question the fate of the nascent tour. Some fans already predicted a premature end for the monthlong trek, which was scheduled to resume Sunday in Chicago.

“No way” the show makes it through all the dates, said Bob Orlowski, a lawyer from Plymouth, Mich., who watched with six clients in a suite.

“He’s not suited for this,” said Orlowski, 46. “It wasn’t funny.”

Sheen’s publicist, Larry Solters, declined to comment after the show. Sheen, 45, reappeared after the house lights went up to thank the hundreds who remained.

It wasn’t clear when Sheen lost the audience, but there were many awkward moments.

Sheen, known for his wild partying and rampant drug use, said he thought Detroit would be a good place to tell some stories about crack cocaine. The remark prompted loud, immediate boos.

At another point, Sheen showed a short film he wrote, directed and produced years ago called “RPG.” He sat in the front row to watch the flick, which starred a much younger Johnny Depp. Again, more boos.

As the showed bogged down, an audience member booed, prompting Sheen to reply, “I’ve already got your money, dude.”

Things only got worse.

“Tonight’s an experiment,” he said.

For some, it was an expensive experiment.

Linda Fugate, who paid $150 for two seats, left the theater and walked up the street, yelling, “I want my money back!”

“I was hoping for something. I didn’t think it would be this bad,” said Fugate, a 47-year-old from Lincoln Park, Mich.

Fans who arrived at the theater – some flying in for the show – said they were hoping to see the increasingly eccentric actor deliver some of the colorful rants that have made him an Internet star since his ugly falling out with CBS and the producers of “Two and a Half Men.”

They got the ranting. It just wasn’t funny.

“Brutal. I expected him to at least entertain a little bit,” said Rodney Gagnon, 34, of Windsor, Ontario.

Actress Penelope Cruz almost had a mishap while on her way to her “Walk of Fame” presentation earlier today, April 1. Luckily, she was on the arm of her handsome husband, Javier Bardem.

Penelope was being honored for her upcoming blockbuster hit with Johnny Depp, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, which hits theaters in May.

It’s bad enough to almost fall, but the worst is if you have a slew pf cameramen to catch the moment by moment facial expressions. And she’s still gorgeous!

In (another) effort to make-up with his estranged family, Michael Lohan has done what he knows how to do best” call up a new media outlet and apologize.

After the disastrous fiasco between him and his ex-girlfriend Kate Major, which resulted in his arrest for domestic violence, it’s safe to say that the father to famed actress Lindsay Lohan has much to apologize about. He also upset his daughter and ex-wife when he didn’t tell them about signing up for Celebrity Rehab, which further put strains on their relationship. He reached out to RadarOnline for the exclusive, and here’s what he had to say:

“I’m so sorry,[...]I want to apologize to my wife and children for not concentrating on helping them and taking the focus off of them. I totally neglected focusing on them.[...]I was angry at Kate [Major] and I should have been focusing on my family – Dina, Lindsay, Michael, Ali and Cody.

“It’s no excuse, but I followed my heart and my co-dependency issues, made very clear by Dr Drew, which will air on Celebrity Rehab, got the best of me.[...]Instead of focusing on myself and my family, I tried to help people like Kate, who conned me.

“It’s time to focus on my family, what Dr. Drew and his team, taught me and all the great things I learned and the life I led following my work at Teen Challenge.”

Lindsay’s mother, Dina, told RadarOnline earlier this month:

“Lindsay is not talking to her Dad now.”

After getting much flack for her recently released “skinny” photos, Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel talked to People regarding the controversy surrounding her weight.

“I am healthy and happy. I’m heartened to know how much everyone cares about me, but in this case, everything is normal and good.”

The 22-year-old swimsuit model looked much, much skinner than she had just a few months ago, and she attributes it to a busy schedule:

“I’ve been traveling around like crazy. I get skinnier if I’m very busy.”

I’d like just a little bit of her schedule, I’ve got a few pounds that I wouldn’t miss.

What is newlywed Reese Witherspoon doing out with Chelsea Handler? Just hours after having a good workout, the This Means War co-stars Reese and Chelsea were spotted grabbing a bite to eat at Tavern in Brentwood, Calif.

Chelsea swung by to pick up Reese from her house before heading to the restaurant, which is owned by Suzanne Goin, who catered Reese’s wedding. The two reportedly had a great time over dinner, and a source claims:

“It was a night of girl talk, [of] chit-chat and catching up.”

“Reese was so nice, good mood, always smiling.[...]They had some good laughs together.”
