Yesterday was the 17th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s death. (Can you believe it’s been 17 years!? Damn, I’m old.)

Anyway, in honor of Kurt Cobain, Jared Leto is sharing a video he made years ago of him impersonating the late singer. Apparently he considered playing Kurt years ago when a movie was being made on his life, but the audition tape was never sent out. He chose yesterday as a good day to release the video.

Jared wrote on his blog:

I heard today was the day Kurt passed away 17 years ago. Can’t believe it’s been that long. So grateful for his contribution and inspiration. Not sure I’d be doing this if it weren’t for him. He gave us all permission to create no matter what our skill set and reminded me that dreams are possible. Thanks for that. This made me recall a short piece of film I shot when I heard they were making a film celebrating his life. I made it to explore the character and explore creative possibilities. I never sent it to the studio or to anyone but thought I’d share it now…

Seriously people… didn’t think I’d start my day this way!

Someone was having way too much fun during at last night’s 9th Annual Dressed To Kilt charity fashion show at Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

54-year-old Chris Noth joined fellow actors Kiefer Sutherland and Jason Patric on the runway at the event. At the end of the show, Noth decided to flip up his kilt – and exposed his balls to the audience. Nice!

The Dressed To Kilt event is now in its eighth year and has featured famous Scots walk the catwalk alongside professional models to show off cutting-edge tartan designs and clothing.

She’s already been married twice, but is Britney Spears ready to become a bride once more for love Jason Trawick?

As she enjoys blockbuster sales and the strongest reviews of her career for seventh studio album Femme Fatale, Spears, 29, tells all in the new Us Weekly (out Wednesday) about finding Mr. Right in agent Trawick, 39, her boyfriend of over two years.

“We have such a great time together!” Spears tells Us exclusively. “He makes me laugh, and we are so comfortable being ourselves.”

Marriage plans? “Maybe,” she teases. “Never say never!”

Indeed, a family source tells Us that the blissful pair will likely wed. Trawick, after all, the source says, “was one of the only people who stuck by her through everything,” including Spears’ dark 2007 and early 2008 — when she lost custody of her sons Sean, 5, and Jayden, 4, to ex Kevin Federline, and was briefly admitted to a psychiatric hospital.

“[Jason] was someone she felt she could be her true self with. [Marriage] is what they talk about and the direction they’re going in,” the insider says.

Whatever and whenever their nuptial plans, one thing is certain, Spears tells Us: “I’ve never been happier!”

When I first saw this cover, I thought to myself “Life & Style”? Really? That’s all she could get? No one else was interested? Seems so low-rent to me.

Mariah Carey has posted pictures of her belly before on Twitter, but this new Life & Style cover is the most revealing! (Last week, Carey posted a picture of her baby bump on Twitter, painted to celebrate her birthday.)

The singer is less than a month away from meeting her twins, a boy and a girl, her first children with husband Nick Cannon.

Mariah Carey has posed for her fair share of portraits, but none has been as personal or emotional as these exclusive belly-baring snaps. Mere days away from welcoming her first and second child, Mariah proudly showed off her pregnant body to Life & Style.

“I was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn’t want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience,” Mariah exclusively tells Life & Style. “My ultimate goal was to share this incredibly personal moment with my true fans.”

And the twins — a boy and a girl — were clearly ready for their closeups.

“The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable,” Mariah tells Life & Style. “Especially the girl — clearly she’s a diva in training! We didn’t start shooting until 1:30 a.m. because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart!”

Indeed, although Mariah’s not due for a few weeks, the twins could be making their grand entrance sooner rather than later. Contractions sent mom to the hospital on March 27. But for now, Mariah and soon-to-be-dad Nick Cannon are simply reveling in their twin bliss! And Nick says he is more attracted to his wife than ever. “I thought I couldn’t love Mariah more,” he tells Life & Style. “But I have a whole new appreciation and admiration for her.”

Mariah adds, “Now I have so much respect for mothers everywhere, especially those who’ve had difficult pregnancies or given birth to multiples. We need to have Mother’s Day once a week!”

Meg Ryan is moving from in front of the camera – to behind it!

For the first time, Meg will be directing a film, according to Variety. Titled “Into The Beautiful,” the film centers on friends reuniting after a long time apart.

“I’m often drawn to pictures that make you laugh and cry,” the film’s producer Wendy Finerman told the trade publication. “I think this is the perfect project for Meg to bring to life. She’s poignant and funny and heartfelt.”

Ryan’s career has slowed of late; best known for hit romantic comedies “When Harry Met Sally,” “Sleepless in Seattle,” and “You’ve Got Mail,” she was last seen on the big screen in a less sucessful romcom, “Serious Moonlight,” in 2009. She starred in another poorly reviewed effort, “The Women,” in 2008.

In her own romantic life, she’s been frequently seen out with John Mellencamp since the winter.

Ladies and gentlemen… presenting… a Paris Hilton reality show!

We’ve seen the socialite in ‘The Simple Life’… and we’ve seen her in her ‘BFF’ TV competitions. But this time, the upcoming reality show is strictly about Paris and her life. Period.

“I’m so excited for ‘The World According to Paris’ to be on Oxygen, it’s such a perfect network for the show,” she told Access Hollywood at the Oxygen upfront presentation in New York City on Monday. “It’s about living out loud, being a woman being empowered and just living life to the fullest and that’s what the show’s all about.”

Paris explained that her new show allows fans a real look into her life – including her romance with boyfriend [Cy Waits].

“Definitely this is the first time I’ve ever showed so much on a show. I’ve never let this much access and cameras into my life. So, they’re really gonna get to see everything from my family relationship to my relationship with my boyfriend,” she continued. “I think people are just gonna be surprised to see a Paris that they’ve never seen before. I think everyone is so used to seeing me on the red carpet and kind of the party lifestyle, but in the show they’re gonna get to see what happens behind closed doors when no one’s around. [They’ll] get to see the Paris that my friends and family know.”

Her friends, including Charlie Sheen’s estranged wife Brooke Mueller, will also be featured on the show.

“My mom and Brooke are very close,” Paris told Access. “Brooke’s a good friend of mine too and there’s definitely a lot of drama in the show with her in it.”

Mom Kathy Hilton, who also appears on the new Oxygen series, told Accessthat Paris’ show is “post-modern reality.”

“I guess in art, there is modern art and there is post-modern art, and this show would be post-modern reality, you won’t see anything else like it,” Kathy said. “You’re a fly on the wall, we don’t hold back anything. After four months of timing, you really do get to know the people. And I think that all the characters on the show have something to bring to the table.”

“The World According to Paris” premieres on Oxygen on Wednesday, June 1.

Oh, goodness. Who’s going to watch this show?  I can’t lie, but I probably will. Don’t deny it… you know you will too!
