So when it comes to weddings, it’s usually the lady who takes charge.

But not for Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo!

Nick seems to be a busy wedding planner… and family planner too!

During the Alex Maine store opening event in Hollywood, the former boy bander told In Touch he has been helping his fiancée Vanessa Minnillo prepare for their big day. “We’re a team, we’re in it together,” Nick confessed. “We make our decisions collectively.”

And those decisions even include planning for a baby. “I’m a big family person so a family has always been very important to me,” revealed Nick. “It’s definitely one of the things I look forward to the most.”

So how long will we have to wait before the couple decides to expand their family? Nick kept things vague, by saying, “Those things have a way of handling themselves, so we’ll see.”

I can’t wait until Nick and Vanessa have a baby — it will be so cute!

Lada Gaga has right under 10 million “little monsters” (Twitter followers) and approximately 32 million fans on Facebook.

And she’s rounding everyone up to raise big bucks for charity.

The singer announced Thursday she’s partnered with the Robin Hood Foundation in hopes of raising $1 million for homeless New York City youths, which she’ll then distribute to one of five charities.

She is asking her fans to donate, and vote on which charity (Hetrick-Martin Institute, The Door, Lawyers for Children, Safe Horizon, and SCO Family of Services) should receive the money, which will be distributed in two $500,000 installments over two years.

“I’m thrilled to be working with the Robin Hood Foundation to distribute funds to help the youth of New York City,” the singer said in a statement. “NYC is my hometown and I think investing in these kids’ future will go a long way.”

She’ll announce the winners May 9 at a concert benefiting the Robin Hood Foundation — which will take place a few days after her HBO special airs.

“There was never a question in my mind that I was gonna make it and that this is my destiny and that we were all gonna make it as the kids of this city, as the New York generation,” she says in the special. “My faith in my creativity and my artistry has nothing to do with making it. We kind of had already made it when we were playing for nothing downtown. … We still felt like we were superstars.”

In case you didn’t know, Mother Monster has already used her popularity for a good cause. She recently raised $250,000 for Japan earthquake and tsunami relief! Go, girl!

Forget honeymoon getaways. As a mommy-to-be to twins, Mariah Carey knows it’s all about the babymoon! The dazzling music artist took a few days off for relaxation before the arrival of her babies. She hung out with close friends at Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes, Calif.

Mariah and her guests nestled in on 102 lush oceanside acres that afford daily dolphin sightings “the setting is so indescribably beautiful,” Mariah tells Life & Style. Terranea provided a breathtaking backdrop for playing rousing games of Taboo and Catch Phrase with her pals, nibbling on tasty treats from the Spa Café and indulging in as many relaxing spa treatments as possible.

“As my fans know, I love the ocean, and I love dolphins. But I never dreamed I’d be sitting fireside in a copper tub watching schools of wild dolphins passing by throughout the day!” gushes Mariah.

The twins are due in just a few days… and Nick and Mariah can’t wait to take them home!

Is Lindsay Lohan going to take the stage?

In case you didn’t know, LiLo is scheduled to do community service hours at Los Angeles’ Downtown Women’s Center… and the center’s theater program wants her!

A rep for L.A.’s Downtown Women’s Center — an organization for nearby homeless women — tells TMZ, the theater workshop is extremely interested in having Lindsay contribute her talents when she kicks off her 360 hours of community service this week.

The workshop is called D.I.V.A.S — which stands for Dames Investing in Very Authentic Storytelling — and it consists of approximately 15 women who meet two hours a week … to learn how to express themselves through writing, performing, and the spoken word.

Lindsay hasn’t been assigned to a particular workshop … yet –but we’re told she loves the idea of working with the D.I.V.A.S. program … and thinks it’s “a perfect fit for her community service.”

For the record, Jessica Simpson has knocked out seven studio albums, starred in two reality shows, played in six feature films, and she heads a billion-dollar fashion empire. So what’s the next business move for the 30-year-old star? Broadway? Of course not!

Just popsicles!

“A line of popsicles! A popsicle would be really good right now,” Simpson told FOX411’s Pop Tarts column while being honored as Style Icon of the Year at Us Weekly’s Hot Hollywood party on Tuesday evening.

Simpson said popsicles definitely trump a long Broadway run, the timeworn venue for actors and singers looking to leave their comfort zone.

“[I wouldn’t do Broadway] because I like to always switch it up, I can’t stay in a regimen,” she said. “A line of popsicles would be a lot easier.”

Putting business aside, Jessica is also excited about being a bride-to-be. But her future husband, NFL player Eric Johnson, better watch out!

“I’m planning my own, who doesn’t plan their own wedding?,” she said. “The best part is that my groom will say ‘I do.’”

Once she’s hitched, her husband may want to watch out, as Simpson plans to go down Nicole Richie‘s TMI Twitter route.

“I do love Twitter, and I would say one of my favorite people to follow is Nicole Richie,” she said. “I think Nicole Richie is always straight up, really funny. She makes me laugh all the time, and she posts cool pics and makes fun of her husband, and I love it.”

The wedding program also reveals some new details about the ceremony, including the vows. While it was rumored yesterday that they’d maybe write their own vows, the program keeps it traditional.
