Here is the initial trailer for Lars von Trier’s drama/sci-fi film Melancholia! From the site:
Justine (Kirsten Dunst) and Michael (Alexander Skarsgård) are celebrating their marriage at a sumptuous party in the home of her sister (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and brother-in-law (Kiefer Sutherland). Meanwhile, the planet, Melancholia, is heading towards Earth… MELANCHOLIA is a psychological disaster movie from director Lars von Trier.
One thing I’ll say – it certainly looks interesting! Kirsten gets naked – twice – in the trailer. It looks like a visually stunning movie. I was mesmerized enough by the trailer to watch it twice! It’s dark, but beautiful!
Looks interesting… don’t know if it’ll be great – but it at least looks interesting.

Deadline is reporting this morning that Ben Affleck is in talks to join the star-studded, Baz Luhrmann-directed epic ‘The Great Gatsby’.
The actor is in talk to play Tom Buchanan, Daisy Buchanan’s philandering husband.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the producers of the film are willing to work around his busy schedule. He’s slated to direct his new film, ‘Argo’ this fall, the same time Luhrman wanted to being ‘Gatsby’.
The impressive cast already includes Leonardo DiCaprio as Jay Gatsby, Tobey Maguire as Nick Carraway and Carey Mulligan as Daisy Buchanan.
The film will be shot in 3D – in Australia.
I’m nervous about this one. Pros: It’s going to star Leonardo DiCaprio (can do no wrong, in my book) and Carey Mulligan, whom I love. If Ben Affleck signs on – then I’m SOLD! Cons: Baz Luhrman. Lets face it, Chicago Moulin Rouge and Romeo and Juliet are his best movies, and even those are painful to watch at times. Also a con – 3D? If it’s not Avatar, I don’t see the point in 3D. Still seems gimmicky to me.
I guess time will tell!

Kate Gosselin, famously known for being the ‘octo-mom’ of reality television, is being sued for reportedly stiffing a marriage counselor for over $10,000 in fees.
The complaint was filed in Pennsylvania on March 28 before Judge Gerald Feissner. The company, Creative Energy Options, is based in White Haven and claims an:
“Unpaid balance due for services 2/4/09 to 3/23/09. Client requested Dr. Sylvia Lafair fly to Los Angeles California to perform marriage counseling then refused to pay for travel fees.”
Dr. Sylvia Lafair spoke with RadarOnline last Thursday, confirming the suit, but refusing to comment on specifics or details.
Jon and Kate Gosselin’s marriage and subsequent divorce was played in the court of public opinion, and the world watched it unfold in not only the news media, but on reality television.

Jersey Shore‘s JWOWW says that she has now found Mr. Right, and she’s ready to settle down and embrace motherhood! The 26-year-old reality television star spoke to Life & Style about her relationship with Roger Matthews and her hopes to have children soon.
“I didn’t realize how happy I could be in a relationship.[...]Hopefully I’ll be able to settle down and have kids within the next couple of years — maybe even the beginning of next year. I don’t see myself going to the Shore in the next five years or so. I don’t want to jinx it — I haven’t really talked about it — but it would be nice.”
She and Roger will soon be undergoing a big separation, as JWOWW and the rest of the Jersey Shore cast take off to film the next season in Italy.
“It might be hard, but I think it’ll make us stronger. I’m going to make sure he can visit at least once or twice, even for just 24 hours.”

Country singer Kelli Pickler seems to have the life; not only does she have a great career, she also gushed about the perks of marrying her best friend, husband Kyle Jacobs.
The newlyweds joined together on New Years Day in the Caribbean, and recently In Touch Weekly caught up with Kelli in New York City and got the goods on her blissful relationship:
“I get to wake up beside the love of my life. He’s my best friend. That’s what you have to marry. You marry your best friend, because you spend the most time with that person.”
“He is so amazing. He is so much better than me. I don’t know why he picked me, but I’m glad he did!”
On How He Keeps Things Romantic
“He writes songs every day and nine times out of 10, they’re about me. He makes me CDs, and when I get in my car and turn the car on, they’ll be playing. He leaves me notes around the house all the time. He writes letters. He’s just so romantic.”
On If They Are Planning On Having Children Soon
“Kyle and I would love to have children down the road. Right now, we just want to enjoy being newlyweds. We have to get used to calling each other husband and wife. That just sounds so new! But definitely down the road!”
Cute!
