During last night’s game, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Kobe Bryant used the word “fa***t,” a term that is commonly seen as a homophobic slur, when arguing with a NBA referee.

Kobe explains his action, stating:

“What I said last night should not be taken literally.My actions were out of frustration during the heat of the game, period.  The words expressed do NOT reflect my feelings towards the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”

Though some believe that people are being overly sensitive, there are those that say Kobe just showed his true character. What do you think?

Although they’ve been dating for only five months, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries have quickly fallen head over heels in love! “Kris just gets me,” the reality star told Life & Style at the April 4 launch party for Unbreakable, the unisex fragrance from her sister Khloé and Khloé’s husband, Lamar Odom.

In fact, the couple are already talking engagement rings, wedding plans — and even what they’ll name their children! “I want Lorraine to design me a big diamond ring,” Kim gushed to friend Brittny Gastineau at the Beverly Hills Nail Design on April 10.  Kim was describing the engagement ring she wants jewelry designer Lorraine Schwartz, her longtime pal, to create for her! A friend tells Life & Style, “Her idol is Elizabeth Taylor, who was a good friend of Lorraine’s, so she wants to take inspiration from one of Elizabeth’s prized possessions: her famous cushion-cut Krupp diamond. Kim’s been talking to Lorraine about it a lot lately.”

And Kim tells Life & Style that she’s fantasized about her wedding ever since she was a little girl.  “I’ve envisioned the whole thing,” Kim says. “I can’t wait to get married. I’ve found my wedding dress — I mean, I already know what my gown is going to look like. I’ve thought about it all for so long. What woman hasn’t thought about her wedding since she was a little girl?”  Kim plans to take a trip to Paris to shop for a Chanel couture wedding gown, the friend reveals. Her dream dress? “She wants a white strapless floor-length gown that’s traditional but sexy and makes her feel like a princess,” says the pal.

Kris and Kim — who both come from families in which the kids’ names all begin with the letter K — have already discussed what they’re going to name their children. “I think I’ll name my kids with K’s to keep the tradition going,” Kim says. She even has a favorite name picked out for a baby boy, the friend reveals: Kristopher Jr., named after the man she plans to marry. “I want a big family,” Kim told Life & Style at the Unbreakable event. “Three to five kids!”

After enduring her husband Corey Simms’ bad behavior — from his huge withdrawals of money from their bank account to hooking up with other girls — Teen Mom Leah Messer has reached the end of her rope with Corey. The final straw came recently, when he transferred $19,000 out of their joint bank account to buy himself a new truck — depriving Leah of money she needs to make ends meet. “He did it without telling Leah, even though the money is mostly her earnings from MTV,” a friend shares exclusively to In Touch. “When she found out, they had a vicious fight and she left him.” When she learned he’d taken nearly all her money, Corey was not remorseful — claiming he deserved the new truck. It was all Leah could take — and now, she’s through. “She always said she didn’t want a broken home for her girls, since her father left her family,” the friend says. “But now she is ready to give that up and leave Corey for good.” Meanwhile, according to an insider, Leah is in the process of seeking full custody of twin daughters Aleeah and Aliannah.

I’m not surprised, they were teenagers after all… but it still makes me sad!

The lovely, amazing, talented, Adele is on the latest cover of Rolling Stone. In the interview, Adele reveals that she doesn’t worry much about her fluctuating weight. “My life is full of drama and I don’t have time to worry about something as petty as what I look like,” she says. “I don’t like going to the gym. I like eating fine foods and drinking nice wine. Even If I had a really good figure, I don’t think I’d get my tits and ass out for no one.”

Adele has no beef with other female recording artists who choose to flaunt their bodies. “I love seeing Lady Gaga’s boobs and bum,” she says. “I love seeing Katy Perry’s boobs and bum. Love it. But that’s not what my music is about. I don’t make music for eyes. I make music for ears.”

Many of the songs on her hit album 21 were inspired by a break-up with her boyfriend. “He was artistic, but not romantic,” she says. “We’d just bicker over a cup of tea or the fact that my lighter wasn’t working.” Nonetheless, Adele says, “He made me an adult and put me on the road that I’m traveling on.”

Despite the fact that she’s one of the most successful new recording artists of the past few years, Adele still has terrible stage fright problems. “I’m scared of audiences,” she says. “One show in Amsterdam I was so nervous I escaped out the fire exit. I’ve thrown up a couple of times. Once in Brussels I projectile vomited on someone. I just gotta bear it. But I don’t like touring. I have anxiety attacks a lot.”

Adele says her dad was never in the picture. He recently talked to a British tabloid and said that he regretted his actions. “I never knew my dad,” she says. “He has no fuckin’ right to talk about me.”

I love her! 21 is an amazing album, best of the year for sure!
