Tiffani Thiessen brings her family to work! Walking with husband Brady Smith and their newborn daughter Harper Renn, Tiffani Thiessen headed to the set of ‘White Collar’ in New York yesterday afternoon.
Emma Stone stars in the new inspirational civil rights movie based on the best selling book, ‘The Help’.
Starring as Eugenia “Skeeter” Phelan, Stone plays the enlightened college girl who comes back to her hometown of Jackson, Mississippi and sees old, dark traditions in a whole new light. As a new columnist for her local paper, she works to take up the cause of the horribly discriminated against black household maids, the women who helped raise her and deserve far better than that which her friends that stayed at home are subjecting them to.
Fearful of retribution, it takes an act of God and a lot of persistence to get her maid Aibileen (Viola Davis) and then Aibileen’s friend Minny (Octavia Spencer) to cooperate. What comes out of it, though, is a truly groundbreaking movement.
It’s a role that was meant for Stone, said Kathryn Stockett, the author of the controversial, best selling book on which the film is based.
“The minute I met [Stone], I knew I couldn’t see whatever Skeeter looked in my head as a blonde because she was replaced by Emma,” Stockett told People Magazine in November. “She was so clearly that person. And her mom is from Baton Rouge, so she got the accent.”
I can’t believe I never got around to reading this book! I’ve heard it’s so good! I may have to read it real quick before the movie comes out. Have you read it? Doesn’t the movie look good!

Movie stars Winona Ryder and James Franco are getting together on the big screen!
Winona and James will star in The Stare, a Jay Anania-directed film that is the first project funded by Waterstone Entertainment, a new production and finance company formed by producers Jeff Kalligheri and Steve Bowen. Deadline Hollywood reports:
Watersone gets started with The Stare, a drama in which a playwright (Ryder) finds her mind beginning to warp as she struggles to launch her next production. She’s plagued by dreams and visions of being watched, but can’t decide if she’s at the center of a manipulative plot or simply losing her grip on reality. Franco plays one of the performers in the playwright’s production.
The film will start shooting May 6 in New York. I love the two are collaborating!

In case you didn’t know, in 2010, Ryder was nominated for two Screen Actors Guild Awards, as the lead actress of When Love Is Not Enough: The Lois Wilson Story, and as part of the cast of Black Swan. Franco has been nominated for three Golden Globe awards, winning one, and received an Academy Award nomination for his work in 127 Hours.

Hollywood hunk Robert Pattinson knows how to be the tough guy on the silver screen.
But there is one thing he’s scared of.
Hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’!
Rob took the time to talk with Kelly Ripa and special guest host Seth Meyers on ‘Live With Regis and Kelly’ this morning (April 18) about possibly hosting the Saturday night comedy TV show.
“It’s terrifying,” Rob explained toSeth, an SNL vet, who was encouraging the Twilight star to take on the hosting challenge.
“It is scary,” Seth replied. “But then it’s really worth it when you do it.”
Rob continued to claim that he wasn’t funny, but Seth suggested he would be very funny in a bit with Jimmy Fallon — who features the hilarious “Robert is Bothered” spoofs on his hit late night talk show.
Rob explained that in the one spoof he did with Jimmy on his show, he wasn’t trying to be funny.
“That’s how it’s going to work,” Seth quipped.
Kelly also tried to convince Rob to face his SNL fears, but the actor, who is currently promoting his film Water for Elephants, was not interested.
I’d definitely love to see Rob host ‘SNL’ and maybe do some Twilight spoofs… what about you?

It looks like Kate Middleton has a new cool cousin.

Paul Harrison, a Zumba teacher from Paignton, Devon, discovered that he is the future Queen’s second cousin. “It’s just surreal, I can’t believe it,” he told Us Weeklyexclusively. “To think that I am related to Kate Middleton, the princess to be. I mean, I am just a Zumba teacher from Devon.”
The 53-year-old’s grandfather was brother to Middleton’s great-grandfather. But does this shared bloodline mean Harrison will receive an invite to the 29-year-old’s upcoming wedding? “They haven’t been in touch [with me] yet,” Harrison revealed.
Still, the Zumba teacher is looking forward to the April 29 nuptials. “I would like to throw a party,” he said. “But I’ll watch it for sure. I would [like to] send my best wishes. I’m very proud.”
Harrison added: “I could give them a family voucher for my Zumba class. They can come and join in any time. I have a wide age range of youngsters up to early sixties and seventies. So the Queen would feel comfortable.”
