Catherine Zeta-Jones is getting back to work — and made her first appearance on a film set yesterday since she announced she entered treatment for bi-polar II disorder.

Looking gorgeous while getting her make-up done in Shreveport, Louisiana, Catherine was photographed getting ready to shoot scenes for “Playing the Field” — an upcoming romantic comedy.

Khloe Kardashian is heading to primetime. She will make a special cameo appearance on an upcoming episode of Law & Order: LA.

In the episode, airing Monday, April 25 (10PM ET), Khloe will play herself as Detectives Ricardo Morales (Alfred Molina) and T.J. Jaruszalski (Corey Stoll) investigate the death of a celebrity stylist. She’ll play one of the stylist’s clients.

Of course, she isn’t the only Kardashian showcasing her acting chops on TV these days. Kourtney Kardashian made her acting debut by starring in an episode of soap opera One Life To Live as lawyer Kassandra Kavanaugh. Although she’s a reality-TV veteran, Kourtney still told her fans on her official blog that she was incredibly nervous.

“This was my acting debut and I was so nervous to start filming, but it went really well and I had a great time on set with the cast. I’ve always been a huge fan of the show, so it was such an amazing opportunity to have a character created for me.”

She wrote about her excitement on her website: “Hi dolls! I have some fun news. I’m going to be making a cameo appearance on the April 25th episode of Law & Order: LA!!!! I’m sooooo excited but also ridiculously nervous. I’ve only done the whole acting thing once so I’m still not fully comfortable working from a script. We tape tomorrow so I’ll let you all know how it goes. Law & Order is actually Lamar’s favorite show — I think he’s more excited than I am LOL.

According to TMZ, Lindsay Lohan has just lost the role of Victoria Gotti in the upcoming biopic on the famous mob family, because her management was impossible to work with.

Lindsay Lohan just lost the role that could have saved her career, because her management team was just impossible in negotiating with the producer of “Gotti: Three Generations.”

Executive Producer Marc Fiore tells TMZ … he has ended negotiations with Lindsay’s team because, “It just didn’t work for me.” Sources involved on both sides tell TMZ … money was an issue, but the various demands of her management team just got out of control.

Fiore wanted Lindsay to play Victoria Gotti, but says “I will only ride a merry-go-round with my kids,” suggesting Lindsay’s team was just too tough to deal with.

But this is interesting. Fiore tells us the door has not been slammed shut: “Maybe if Lindsay calls me up, we can talk about it.”

These new pictures show a slimmer Kate Middleton getting some shopping done in London’s Kings Road neighborhood.

The 29-year-old princess-to-be is set to wed her prince on April 29th. Kate has been getting into shape at London’s posh Harbour Club, which costs $3,500 to join! “Kate’s not on a diet,” a source says. “She’s not been trying to lose weight. She’s a healthy girl who loves her food and doesn’t count the calories. Because she’s always been rather sporty, her metabolism is naturally quite high.”

Lady Gaga isn’t happy her new song, “Judas” leaked online, days before it was set to release. Or maybe she’s just not happy with the reaction the song got once it was released. I, for one, hate the song… and apparently I’m not alone.

“A slow death! Just put me out of my f—ing misery, just put that sh– out. They were tearing [the song] limb for limb. First it was the arm of the song, then the liver. …

“I wrote it really quick,” she later says. “I mean, all of the songs on the album, to be completely candid, the creative process is approximately [a] 15-minutes process. It’s 15 minutes of vomiting my creative ideas in the forms of melodies, usually, or chord progressions and melodies and some sort of a theme, lyric idea. And then I spend days, weeks, months, years fine tuning. But the idea is, you honor your vomit.”

So let me get this straight, she wrote each song in 15 minutes? That explains it! No wonder the two songs off the new album so far SUCK. Admit it, “Born This Way” and “Judas” SUCK. They don’t come close to any of the songs she released on ‘Fame Monster’. So far her new album is a major fail in my opinion.

Also – NME Magazine asked the singer if she was ripping off Madonna (answer: yes):

When NME asked the 25-year-old star whether she thought “Born This Way” was a knock-off of Madonna’s “Express Yourself,” the singer (real name: Stefani Germanotta) was outraged. “I’m a songwriter. I’ve written loads of music. Why would I try to put out a song and think I’m getting one over on everybody? That’s retarded.”

She raged on: “What a completely ridiculous thing to even question me about… If you put the songs next to each other, side by side, the only similarities are the chord progression. It’s the same one that’s been in disco music for the last 50 years. Just because I’m the first f***ing artist in 25 years to think of putting it on Top 40 radio, it doesn’t mean I’m a plagiarist, it means that I’m f***ing smart. Sorry.”
