Is Ryan Phillippe so fed up with the paparazzi that he’s quiting acting?
The actor spoke with the NY Post at the premiere of his new movie “The Bang Bang Club” on Friday night, and admitted that he’s so sick of the paparazzi, he was thinking about calling it quits on his 20-year-old acting career.
“I think I’m going to end my acting career,” he told the Post. “I’m so introverted. I’m ready to be behind the scenes. I’m 36, but I’ve been doing this for 20 years.”
He could be sick of the cameras because he has either dated – or been married to – some of the hottest women in Hollywood. He was married to Reese Witherspoon, and is currently dating Amanda Seyfried.
But…..he’s not ready to quit for good. Access Hollywood reports that an unnamed source says that the comments were taken out of context, and that Phillippe is looking to expand his behind-the-scenes efforts, along with continuing to do some acting.
While Amanda is often voted as one of the worlds most beautiful women, and despite dating one of Hollywood’s hottest bachelors (Ryan Phillippe), she insists she was “weird looking” as a child. “I was a child model but I wasn’t doing much of it. I just don’t consider myself a ‘model’ because I wasn’t. I was such a weird-looking child. I had braces and I was kind of chubby.”
She used to hate looking in the mirror. “I was an insecure young girl and I didn’t think I was pretty. I didn’t like my body. I really looked in the mirror and thought I was ugly because I didn’t look like a normal girl. I wanted braces, stick-straight hair and a tan. But I wouldn’t go to the tanning booth and I had trouble getting up early enough to be able to straighten my hair. It would take forever so my arms would hurt.”

The girls filmed a musical number which involved dancing their way down a huge flight of stairs in the middle of Times Square.

Lindsay Lohan was found guilty on Friday of violating her probation – and is facing 120 hours of community service. The actress, 24, will be working at the L.A. County Coroner’s facility as part of repaying society for her crimes.
But that’s not the only fun she’ll be having. She’ll also be picking up trash, emptying trash bins, mopping floors, along with cleaning windows and restrooms!
“She’ll be doing basic janitorial work,” Coroner Assistant Chief Ed Winter tells PEOPLE. “She won’t be handling any dead bodies but she’ll certainly see them.”
This won’t be Lohan’s first visit to the downtown Los Angeles morgue. She previously completed a DUI morgue program following her second drunk-driving conviction 2007.
In addition to a four-month jail term, Lohan was also ordered Friday to complete 360 hours of service at the Downtown Women’s Center, a homeless shelter located in L.A.’s Skid Row.
Lohan must enroll in the two programs within a week and has a year to complete them.
Lohan remains free on bail pending an appeal of her sentence, which experts say she has slim chance of winning.
She faces a June 3 trial in her grand theft charge, which was reduced to a misdemeanor on Friday, facing a maximum penalty of an additional year in jail.
