At a dinner in her honor, Blake Lively said her mother was the one who helped shape her own fashion sensibilities.
Lively, the new face of Chanel’s “Mademoiselle” handbag, was honored at a Chanel dinner on Wednesday night.
The 23-year-old “Gossip Girl” star said her mother was a model, so she was always exposed to beautiful clothes. Her mother would also make clothes, so she would go with her mother to buy fabrics.
Lively said confidence is the key to making an outfit work, and even if critics may not like her choice in apparel, she said as long as she is being herself, she loves it.
Lively plays the role of Serena van der Woodsen on CW’s “Gossip Girl” and has been in movies like “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and “The Town.”

Charlie Sheen has broken the Guinness World Record for reaching 1 million Twitter followers the fastest, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In only 25 hours, Guinness confirmed that Charlie reached 1 million.
“Guinness World Records is excited to continue expanding the number of social media records it holds and looks forward to new records emerging from the rapidly evolving world of social media,” the organization said in a statement.
With Sheen no longer receiving his $1.2 million per episode salary on Two and a Half Men, he has said his “primary motivation” is to Tweet out celeb endorsements soon. “I’m unemployed!” he tells TMZ.com, adding that the social network site is a “cash cow.”
The Hollywood Reporter recently reported that reality star Kim Kardashian now charges as much as $25,000 to simply mention and link to a brand or company in a Tweet.
Arnie Gullov-Singh, CEO of the Beverly Hills-based Ad.ly, (a startup that focuses on celebrity endorsements via Facebook and Twitter), tells Forbes, “It’s inevitable that brands will be lining up to work with him.”
Sheen has become an avid user of Twitter, sending out a message on average every two to three hours. Over the past 14 hours, he has written:
- Ready for my next fastball, world? PLAN BETTER Applies to everything where an excuse now sits. Try it. U won’t be wrong. Ever. #PlanBetter
- Face it folks, you just feel better when you say it. #WINNING
- Pardon my absence…. My first concern is my kids… Back soon..!
- In all sincerity… Thank you Twitter community for the warm reception & the followers that helped get me to 1M in 24 hours!!! #teamsheen about 14 hours ago via web

According to the National Enquirer, Whitney Houston’s daughter Bobbi Kristina is at the center of a cocaine scandal. An ex-boyfriend of the 18-year-old reportedly released the photo to the tabloid, in an effort to force Bobbi into rehab. The ex claims Bobbi has a drug problem, and drinks a lot.
Bobbi is, of course denying the whole thing, and took to her Twitter to fight back.
The pictures_ a former very dear person to me did this. Set me up to make it look exactly what it looks like. God will smite them yes..But it’s really not what it looks like.. People will do anything for money which is extremely sad, and I’m very hurt by this.Thing’s people do these days to hurt others is a shame. All I can do now, is keep my head up high, keep looking towards the lord. All the lord is telling me is be still. That’s all, and that’s exactly what I’m going to do. #BeStill.I love my family so much. My mom just comforted me to the max, and I’m so thankful for her. Thank you so much lord for blessing me with an Phenomenal family and incredibly phenomenal mother. Thank you for giving me the strength to move forward and put things in the past.
And the person that did this was a result of a horrible relationship that went sour. I was in love_ he was in love with money. I’ve learned My lesson. I’m so much greater and blessed for it today, and I believe nothing less. That is the last I will speak of this, let’s praise god And be greatful and thankful for your family, and people that truly love you, strength, courage, and life lessons learned. GodblessUall «3
My question is… How exactly was she set up? Why would she pretend to snort cocaine? Doesn’t add up, if you ask me. Looks like she’s snorting cocaine.

Yesterday I posted the pictures from Britney Spears V Magazine photo shoot, and today clips from the interview are being released!
In the new interview with V Magazine, Britney says her new album, Femme Fatale, is “the best album I’v ever made!”
“I think Femme Fatale speaks for itself. I worked really hard on it and spent almost two years recording it,” the 29-year-old Louisiana native says. “There’s nothing to say. I’ll let the music speak for me.”
When asked about her troubled past, Britney doesn’t want to talk about it. “I’m past all of that. I try to block it all out and not pay attention to anything they write about me in the magazines or online,” the singer says. “I’m done with that.”
“I have learned to always stay true to myself and never let what other people say about me change who I am,” Spears adds. “It’s a really important lesson that took me a long time to learn.”
What happens if her career dead-ends? “I’d be a full-time mom, which would be cool,” Spears says. “I’d miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go.”
Britney insists she’s just like every other mom. “I love to cook, especially for my boys,” she says. “I also make a mean southern sweet tea from a recipe my mom passed on to me. It’s really good. I love it. I make it for my boys all the time.”

Steven Spielberg is reportedly working on a movie about the WikiLeaks scandal after buying the rights to a book detailing the inside workings of the whistle-blowing website and its director Julian Assange.
The movie mogul’s DreamWorks company has paid for the rights to new book WikiLeaks: Inside Julian Assange’s War on Secrecy, according to The Guardian. The tome was published by Guardian Books last month.
The book details the life of Assange, the creation of the site in 2006 and the leaks of classified documents.
Alan Rusbridger, editor-in-chief of Guardian News & Media, says, “It’s Woodward and Bernstein meets Stieg Larsson meets Jason Bourne. Plus the odd moment of sheer farce and, in Julian Assange, a compelling character who goes beyond what any Hollywood scriptwriter would dare to invent.”
Spielberg has not yet commented on the project.

Below you’ll see a new picture of January Jones and Kevin Bacon in X-Men: First Class.
Featuring Kevin Bacon – as Shaw, the leader of decadent mutant bastards, The Hellfire Club – and January Jones as his right-hand woman (stop sniggering), the telepath Emma Frost in their snazzy secret lair, it’s yet another indicator that Matthew Vaughn’s 60s-set prequel will have a visual flair that sets it apart from the previous X-movies.
