Edward Norton and longtime girlfriend, producer Shauna Robertson, are engaged, according to the NY Post. Was ex-girlfriend Courtney Love the one who let the cat out of the bag?

While Courtney was speaking with The New York Post, she congratulated her old boyfriend on his engagement, trouble is – he hadn’t even announced it yet himself.

The Post writes that Norton proposed to Robertson while in India three weeks ago, one of the only press reports of their decision to tie the knot. The story reports the engagement as a matter of fact, featuring a quote from Norton’s former girlfriend, Courtney Love, about her reaction to the news.

“Wow, it’s about time. He’s 41, they’ve been together for six years,” Love said. “He needs to have babies. I wonder what kind of ring he got her? He bought me a ruby.”

Last year, Love, who dated Norton in the late 90′s, said that he has helped serve as an intermediary between herself and daughter Frances Bean, with whom she was barred from communicating.

Robertson is a prominent comedy producer, teaming with Judd Apatow on his acclaimed comedies, including “Knocked Up,” “Superbad” and “Pineapple Express.”

Norton was recently announced as a cast member in Wes Anderson’s next film, “Moon Rise Kingdom.”

“He bought me a ruby.” Hmm, sounds like someone still misses him!

When E! asked Norton’s publicist about the engagement, the answer was “We don’t have any information on his private life and don’t comment on it,” his publicist told E! News when asked whether Norton and Robertson, a film producer, are getting ready to tie the knot.

Ashton Kutcher likes to be ready — for anything. The actor recently visited the Surplus Value Center in LA and stocked up on $4,000 worth of survival gear for himself and his family. “He is obsessed with the idea of either an earthquake or massive uprising,” an insider tells In Touch.

Ashton bought some basic survival packages: emergency blankets, hand-powered radios and flashlights, as well as a lot of emergency water rations and ready-to-eat meals.

“The store specializes in anything you might need for basic survival in the event of a natural disaster,” says the insider. “Ashton apparently likes to keep up a good stock of emergency goods.”

And he’s not the only one! Stars including Kiefer Sutherland, Leonardo DiCaprio and Angie Harmon are all regulars at the Sunset Boulevard shop, the insider reveals.

Kinda jealous, not gonna lie. I need to put together a survival kit! If something happened here, I’d be in trouble! Living on the west coast – we keep hearing that we’re next for a big earthquake – and it freaks me the crap out!

Hailee Steinfeld, who was nominated for an Oscar for her performance in ‘True Grit’ has signed on to play Sleeping Beauty in a new spin on the classic Disney cartoon.

Told from the princess’ point of view, the script offers a sweetened “Inception” type plot, requiring her to find her way out of the dream world that she has been cast into.

This would be the second big role Steinfeld has grabbed since her breakout turn as fast talking, revenge-seeking Mattie Ross in the Coen Brothers’ hit western. In February, she was cast in “Forgotten,” a book-to-film in which she’ll play a girl who loses her memory every day at 4:33 pm.

Steinfeld was in the running for the lead in the film adaptation of the hit book series “The Hunger Games,” but the 14-year old star lost out to the older Jennifer Lawrence.

In January, her “True Grit” co-star Jeff Bridges talked to Movieline about Steinfeld, singing her praises as an actress.

“It was a very difficult role, I think, for any actor at any age,” he said about her “True Grit” role. “She got her tongue around those words, and she made it look easy. But that was a lot of studying and a great work ethic to come up with that. All the skills — or talents, I guess — that actors wish they had, she’s got them in spades.”

Gwyneth Paltrow is everywhere these days! If she’s not performing on Glee, singing at the Oscars, launching a country singing career, writing for her Goop Website, according to NY  Post, she’s also in talks to create a cooking magazine!

Academy Award-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow has been remaking herself in recent years as a food expert with strong ties to celebrity chef Mario Batali — and now, according to a reliable source, she is trying to expand her empire outside of the Hollywood realm with a magazine project.

One source insisted Hearst — which has a hit on its hands with the Food Network Magazine and which helped turn Oprah Winfrey’s celebrity buzz into O, the Oprah Magazine, now the second most profitable magazine in the entire company after Cosmopolitan, is intrigued.

“It’s a super-secret project,” said one source. Hearst is insisting speculation is not true. “Beyond her occasionally appearing on our magazine covers, we don’t have any other projects in the works with Gwyneth Paltrow,” said a spokeswoman.

Still, she was most recently on last month’s cover of Hearst’s Good Housekeeping, in part to promote her movie “Country Strong.”

But in that article and others, she never misses a chance to promote her cooking. Paltrow’s Vogue cover story in August 2010 was entitled “Beauty and the Feast” and was written by Vogue’s food writer, Jeffrey Steingarten.

And Paltrow is releasing a cookbook, “My Father’s Daughter,” next month. It has already gone back for a second printing pre-publication. If it soars to bestseller status — as Hachette Book Group’s Grand Central Publishing imprint thinks it will — her food bona fides will be further burnished.

The book carries an introduction from Batali. Paltrow has already teamed up with Batali for a PBS cooking series.

The Food Network Magazine is my favorite magazine ever! Each one is a mini-cookbook! I don’t know what I think about Gwyneth starting her own mag…seems pretentious. But who knows, maybe I’ll love it! Time will tell…

Last week NBC released our first look at the new Wonder Woman costume, and the reaction was anything buy positive. Most people (myself included) thought the costume looked Halloween-ish, cheap, plastic, and completely un-cool.

Well, the powers-that-be at NBC must have been listening, because when Wonder Woman star Adrianne Palicki showed up on set last night, the costume had changed!

The bright-blue-stripper-pants are gone, as are the blue high-heel boots. I think the changes look much better.
