Britney Spears in one of her most candid interviews ever!

Britney Spears opens up in the new issue of OUT Magazine. The singer gets extremely candid about everything from how she spent her first check to what she would have done if she hadn’t become a singer. Gotta give it to the girl, she’s pretty freaking interesting…

Where were you the first time you heard one of your songs on the radio?
I was in New Orleans, and I was so excited. It’s such a cool feeling to hear your own song play on the radio. I still have the same kind of excitement when I hear any of my songs today.

How did you spend the first big check you received?
On a bright white Mercedes convertible.

When was the first time you saw a Britney Spears drag queen?
In New Orleans singing “Slave 4 U.” I almost died!

When you were starting out, whose career did you want to mold yours after?
Madonna. No question. She is an amazing entertainer. Besides Madonna, I also admire Sarah Jessica Parker’s career and her shoe collection.

Are there any of your songs that you wish you hadn’t recorded/you don’t really love?
No. All of my songs are f–ing amazing.

Assuming reincarnation exists, in my next life I’d life to be…
A bird, so I can fly.

My idea of hell is…
Being on a diet.

My idea of heaven is…
A trip with my kids.

MUCH MUCH MORE of the interview after the jump! (more…)

Inside Mariah Carey’s baby shower!

On March 6, Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon gathered an intimate group of friends and family at the rooftop Conservatory Grill at the Montage hotel to celebrate the arrival of their twin boy and girl, due in late April or early May.

“I’d never been to a baby shower,” Mariah Carey tells the new issue of Life & Style, on stands now. “This was my first one — it was so festive!”

The shower, hosted by her pr and management team and Angel Champagne’s Stefano Zagni, was decorated in pink and blue hues — from the balloons and flowers to the servers’ aprons and the napkins. Guests—including celeb pals American Idol judge Randy Jackson, host Piers Morgan, actress turned director Penny Marshall, Sopranos alum Lorraine Bracco, and director Brett Ratner—noshed on a selection of gourmet pizzas and appetizers and enjoyed Mariah’s very own champagne, Angel.

“Nick and I were so grateful to everyone who came to celebrate with us,” Mariah tells Life & Style.

A 6-foot-long gift table was filled with tiny outfits, books and stuffed animals but possibly the best gift came from her fans.

“There was a lot of love in the room, and to top it off, fans from more than 50 countries sent well-wishes and stories in a book they made for our twins titled Always Be My Babies, which was the sweetest gesture in the world,” Mariah tells Life & Style. “It was a night I will never forget.”

Go big or go home!

Chris Brown calls bashing Rihanna’s face in “a mishap”

Wow, that’s quite a mishap! Chris Brown wants forgiveness….

The singer, 21, is frank with Page Six Magazine (in Thursday’s New York Post) about the ongoing fallout from his February 2009 assault of then-girlfriend Rihanna.

“People are always gonna talk. But I’m in a positive place. I consider myself a grown-ass man,” says the star, whose new album F.A.M.E. stands for “Forgiving All My Enemies.”

Speaking of forgiveness, Brown says he’s done apologizing for the brutal Rihanna attack. “At the end of the day,” muses the “Forever” singer, “if I walk around apologizing to everybody, I’m gonna look like a damn fool.”

Brown is completing five years probation, domestic violence classes and 180 hours hard labor as a result of the attack.

While friends like Pitbull and Pharrell Williams stuck by him, he claims many people “turn[ed] away. They don’t want to get involved with it because they don’t want their name attached to anything negative. Unknowingly, they kind of show their true colors when they do that.”

He says he doesn’t really blame them for turning their back.

“You can’t blame people for how they want to be portrayed or if they don’t want to be associated with somebody who had a particular mishap.”

“The last two years, everybody dissed me,” Brown says. “But my fans were so dedicated. The way I look at it is, you can’t walk around mad, because then you just prove everybody right that you’re an angry person.”

I can’t stand this kid. If he would have just hit her once – then I might be able to get over it. But I’m sure you all saw the pictures of what he did to her. He’s lucky he didn’t kill her. I hope his career never bounces back!

Charlie Sheen names the people he hates in latest UStream rant! (Updated with video!)

In the fourth episode of ‘Sheen’s Korner’ last night, Charlie Sheen lets his former bosses have it.

“What has occurred yes in fact is a completely and entirely illegal and unconscionable act,” he said of his firing. “Or, to quote my lawyer, really shitty shitty suck suck.”

He then goes on to name his former bosses one by one, calling them his “unwanted guest list”. He attempted to change their names, but you get the picture.

First to “Les Than Goonves”: “Part scoundrel, part my hair to side. Screw Les, I proclaimed, or better yet — screw more. You gave me your word but in turn gave me nothing.”

Rosenblum he named “Bruce Daisy and Wilt”: “Shame on you, you shorter-than-average fool. … My crew now knows the truth, and yes, that is all of their fists pounding on your paper-thin door. … It’s over, tiny man. Grab your ankles and accept your fate. Wow, it must really suck being you now.”

On creator Chuck Lorre, who’s received most of his attacks: “Chuck E. Cheeseball” and “F— Lorre.” He also called him a “maggot” and “ugly clown”.

“Where are you hiding, you silly clown?” Sheen said. “Behind your narcissism, your greed, your hatred of yourself and women? Which person are you cowering behind for cover? I see you, moron, behind that plastic smile, behind your need to be liked.”

“Can you smell your smell? Can you smell your rotting dogshit, your fermented puke that is your rotted viscera?” he said. “Can you smell the lies, can you smell the carnage you’ve created? Can you smell the wimpy, scared child you’ll never have the courage to embrace? … It smells like malaria. If sad and stupid had a smell attached it would be you, F— Lorre. It’s perfect your name rhymes with suck, muck. You picked a fight with a warlock, you little worm.”

He addressed the rumors of being replaced on ‘Two and a Half Men’: “Good luck putting those tin-can shitbrain [words] in the mushmouth of some arrogant carcass you’ve traded for this warlock.”

At the end of the 16 minutes, Sheen said: “High treason has occurred. The scales of justice are in a state of radical disarray. Together we must right this infantile wrong.”

Also: “One final note: Sheen’s Korner is now for sale as a sports bar. You know where to find me. I bid you adieu… See you soon on the battlefield.”

‘Celebrity Rehab’ patient DIES at 44!

According to TMZ, former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr died in Utah … TMZ has learned.

Starr appeared on the third season of “Celebrity Rehab” back in 2009 — and was arrested last month for felony possession of a controlled substance. Salt Lake City cops say he had 6 Xanax pills and 6 Opana (painkiller) pills when he was busted.

Starr was 44 years old.

Mike’s dad tells TMZ, “It’s a terrible shock and tragedy.”

Police tell us Starr’s body was found in a Salt Lake City home today. Cops say they were called to the house at 1:42PM.

It’s so sad to me that people die of drug overdoses… what a waste.
