Jon Bon Jovi isn’t mincing words when it comes to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, accusing him of “killing the music business” with the creation of iTunes.

The rocker is saddened that children no longer enjoy the “magical” experience of buying records in a high street store because of the ease of downloading individual tracks onto an iPod.

And he lays the blame for the generational shift in music-buying at the feet of technology mogul Jobs.

Bon Jovi tells The Sunday Times Magazine, “Kids today have missed the whole experience of putting the headphones on, turning it up to 10, holding the jacket, closing their eyes and getting lost in an album; and the beauty of taking your allowance money and making a decision based on the jacket, not knowing what the record sounded like, and looking at a couple of still pictures and imagining it.”

“God, it was a magical, magical time. I hate to sound like an old man now, but I am, and you mark my words, in a generation from now people are going to say: ‘What happened?’. Steve Jobs is personally responsible for killing the music business.”

I kind of see his point, but I don’t about “killing” the music industry. I can see how it would be extremely frustrating for artists, they made so much more money in the 80′s and 90′s off album sales. But it’s nice to be able to buy a single song – or albums for cheaper on iTunes!

According to US Weekly, Ryan Phillippe may soon be a father again. The actor already has two children with ex-wife Reese Witherspoon, daughter Ava, 11, and son Deacon, 7.

Ryan’s ex-girlfriend, model/actress Alexis Knapp is claiming she’s carrying his baby.

“She’s in the second trimester,” a source confirms to UsMagazine.com of Knapp, who next stars in the film Project X (out this Thanksgiving) plus the Miley Cyrus flick So Undercover. (A rep could not be reached for comment.)

First-time mom Knapp dated Phillippe for several months on and off last year before he ended the relationship in September. “She has been telling people he is the father,” explains another source to Us.

“Ryan doesn’t know if he is the dad,” adds the second source of the Lincoln Lawyer actor. “If he is, he will take full responsibility for the child.”

Explains a third insider of Phillippe and Knapp: “He and Alexis were actually together for a while…It was pretty serious.”

“He’s a good guy,” adds the insider. “He loves being a dad and takes being a dad really seriously.”

“If this kid is his,” the insider says, “He will do the right thing. He takes his responsibility seriously.”

Phillippe’s current squeeze is Amanda Seyfried — although the duo have been tight-lipped about their romance. “I’m dating,” said Phillippe on Friday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show. “Not nearly as voracious as the magazines like to make out, [but] I am dating.”

James Van Der Beek and his wife Kimberly Brook (not pictured) take their adorable 5-month-old daughter Olivia to the annual John Varvatos Stuart House Benefit in West Hollywood, CA.

James recently opened up about Olivia’s birth. “It’s not easy to watch the person you love go through that. At one point in the middle, I had to excuse myself and secretly take 20 seconds in the bathroom to break down, wipe my eyes, beat my chest and man up for her.” He added, “There’s a reason they don’t let men give birth.”

The couple wed on August 1, 2010, in a small Jewish ceremony at the Kabbalah Center near Dizengoff Plaza in Tel Aviv, Israel. Olivia was born a few weeks later on September 25.

‘Real Housewives of New York’ star Kelly Bensimon soaked up the sun and took jetski lessons in Miami over the weekend.

The 42-year-old should really consider sunblock, her skin is starting to look like leather! Interestingly, I was looking at these pictures – and I thought to myself – “wow, her body looks a lot like Cameron Diaz’s!” Then I read online that it was rumored Kelly dated Alex Rodriguez after her divorce from Teddy Bensimon.

But sources close to A-Rod, who is dating Cameron Diaz, were quick to dismiss the rumors, saying Bensimon was ‘not his style’.

I can’t wait to see RHONY. Besides Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, it’s my favorite!
