Until he was downsized, affable, amiable Larry Crowne (Hanks) was a superstar team leader at the big-box company where he’s worked since his time in the Navy. Underwater on his mortgage and unclear on what to do with his suddenly free days, Larry heads to his local college to start over. There he becomes part of a colorful community of outcasts, also-rans and the overlooked all trying to find a better future for themselves…often moving around town in a herd of scooters. In his public-speaking class, Larry develops an unexpected crush on his teacher Mercedes Tainot (Roberts), who has lost as much passion for teaching as she has for her husband.
The simple guy who has every reason to think his life has stalled will come to learn an unexpected lesson: when you think everything worth having has passed you by, you just might discover your reason to live.

The picture above was taken about a week ago, and to be honest, she doesn’t look nearly as scary there as she does here…but she definitely still looks really skinny!
She’s been stepping out lately looking incredibly skinny, and RadarOnline reports that the singer may be suffering from pre-wedding stress! When pictures – and the following criticism – surfaced earlier this week, she tweeted, “I don’t care about the dumb articles. I know how healthy I am. Maybe those people should start taking care of themselves…inside and out,” before joking that she should release a nude photo of herself so others could see that she is not as skinny as the photos depict.
One fan tweeted concern over the photos that show LeAnn looking dramatically thinner than she did just a couple of months ago: “The pics they are referencing do make you looke very, very thin though.”
LeAnn responded, “it’s a photo….see me IN PERSON.”
Later she tweeted about eating fattening food. “just had some kind of doughnut hazelnut cream thingy for dessert at lunch! On the same page!” she wrote, and “These dang cookies on this plane smell and taste delicious!!!”
Rihanna knows she’s an attractive woman, even if she’s not traditionally beautiful, according to the singer. Rihanna opened up in the new Vogue about coming to love her body and filming her new movie, ‘Battleship’.
The Barbados-born singer, whose futuristic fashion and unique sexiness have sent her music videos to the top and helped make her perhaps the biggest pop star in the world, spoke with Vogue in a cover story about her career, development and body. And it’s her latest career move that has helped her recognize how much she appreciates her own body.
“Over the holidays, and even during filming, I realized that I actually like my body, even if it’s not perfect according to the book,” she told the magazine. “I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don’t want to get rid of the curves. I just want to tone it up. My body is comfortable, and it’s not unhealthy, so I’m going to rock with it.”
And rock it she has — especially while filming her upcoming movie, “Battleship.” She plays an ass-kicking Navy officer that helps fight back an alien invasion, a role which required her to learn how to use a gun and, more prominently, train hardcore to fit the role and the stunts involved.
The training, which involved an altered spinning bike, hand weights and more, was right up her alley. “I hate going to the gym and doing it the old-fashioned way. I hate anything that’s too straightforward, too routine, too familiar. I get bored really, really quickly.”
The model/actress has announced on her Twitter that she’s expecting a baby girl with her boyfriend, Thom Evans – after dating for only three months!
The couple met in November, and have carried on a long-distance relationship since! Kelly is based in Los Angeles, and boyfriend Thom lives in the UK. It’s the first child for both.
Thom, 25, is the former teammate of Kelly’s ex Danny Cipriani.
She welcomed twin sons only four months ago, and Celine Dion’s body is looking better than ever!
“As a performer I think I’m at my best right now, and as a mom I can’t wish for anything better,” said Dion, who is also the mother of 10-year-old son Rene-Charles. “To feel loved and wanted is the greatest thing, and I feel wanted. They got us back.”
The 42-year-old “My Heart Will Go On” singer, whose first successful Vegas Show closed after five years in 2007, is going old-school for this new revue at Caesars Palace. With a mix of her own songs and classic hits, the show features multiple costume-changes and a 31-person orchestra.
After the sell-out performance, she talked to reporters about balancing motherhood and work.
“It never ends,” she said. “I still (breast)feed my children every four hours. So I do not have a full night’s sleep. Before I start singing, I always say to my kids, ‘This is for you.’”
