The Hollywood Reporter announced yesterday that Megan Fox is in talks to co-star in an upcoming spinoff of Judd Apatow’s 2007 blockbuster “Knocked Up”. Little is being said about Fox’s role, but according to THR, she’s close to signing the deal.

Apatow seemed to confirm the news on Twitter last night. He retweeted a link about Fox’s involvement in the movie, and then retweeted a fan’s response, “i am SO excited to see Megan in your film. it is such an interesting choice alongside rudd and your wife but i love this idea!!”

Judd has been excited about doing a spinoff for a while. “It is just a story from Pete and Debbie’s current life,” he said in January. “People really responded to their characters and problems. I felt like there was a lot of ground I could explore with them, so we’ll be shooting in July and will come out the following June. There are some fun details yet to reveal but I will let them come out slowly.”

Megan Fox needs a good movie, considering her latest film with Mickey Rourke, “Passion Play,” is set for a straight-to-DVD release.

Actress Sandra Bullock sent a $1 million donation to the Amerian Red Cross this week to help with earthquake and tsunami relief efforts in Japan, the organization said Thursday. It is the largest celebrity donation to the Red Cross to be announced since the disaster struck last Friday, although the charity may have gotten large contributions that were kept confidential at the donors’ request.

Glee’s creator and producer Ryan Murphy has revealed that he would like Gwyneth Paltrow to return next season.

Paltrow, who plays substitute teacher Holly Holliday, has appeared in two episodes so far and is expected to reprise the role again before the second season comes to a close.

Speaking to TV Line, Murphy explained that he also wants her “to come back next year”.

“Gwyneth is sort of the muse of the show,” he said. “I’m friendly with her. And [fellow executive producer] Brad [Falchuk] has become quite friendly with her.”

Murphy added: “She’s also somebody who I write [to] on the weekends and say, ‘What do you think about this for an episode even if you’re not in it?’ She has opinions. She’s great.”

Murphy also revealed that Kristin Chenoweth will reprise her role as April Rhodes before the end of the second season.

Ok here’s the thing… I actually really like Gwynnie. I know a lot of you can’t stand her, but I’m not one of them. Everytime I talk about her, I usually get the response “Oooh, I can’t stand her!”. Anyway – while I do like her, I can’t stand her singing voice. And lately, all she does is sing! It’s like nails on a chalk board. I even like her character on ‘Glee’ – but does there have to be so much singing?

What is going on in the world! Just yesterday I was posting an article on Joe Jonas in Details Magazine, where he raved about girlfriend Ashley Greene! He said, “It feels good.  I think what works about it is she really puts my feelings first.  She understands my busy schedule.  She’ll fly out to my shows—she’s been to places in South America that I can’t even pronounce.”

But I guess they’re not feeling the love anymore, because according to US Magazine, they’ve already split!

Two sources confirm to UsMagazine.com that the Jonas Brothers singer, 21, has parted ways with Twilight star Ashley Greene, whom he began dating in summer 2010.

Adds one insider: “They broke up shortly before her birthday, then got back together.”

(When contacted by Us, a rep for Jonas had no comment on his personal life.)

Indeed, Jonas organized Greene’s 24th birthday blowout at West Hollywood’s STK on Feb. 18. “He wanted to make sure everything was perfect,” another insider told Us at the time. “He was really sweet and conscientious.”

What a difference a few weeks makes. Explains the second source of the sudden split: “Joe wasn’t that into it.”

Maybe Ashley couldn’t deal with the whole no-sex, wait-until-marriage thing. You think he really stayed celibate? Hmm, I wonder.

Joe Jonas appears on the April cover of DETAILS magazine in a photo shoot with Norman Jean Roy that took place in Los Angeles.  The middle Jonas Brother has moved out of his parents’ house, started dating an older woman (Ashley Greene), and (for now) has left his brother behind to embark on a solo career of his own. “We’re not breaking up, we’re just taking a break,” Joe says.  “I really have a hope for the fans that got older and went, ‘You know what, I’m really not into the Jonas Brothers anymore,’ that I’m able to catch their ear again with my project and they’re able to go like, ‘Hey, this is cool stuff, I’m happy listening to this, I’m not embarrassed listening to this.’”  Is America ready to accept this former tween dream as a grown-up rock star?

On going solo:

“I’m growing up, the fans are growing up.  I’ve gone through a lot of stuff in my life so far.  There are stories I haven’t really been able to tell. When you’re writing with three people, you wind up with a sound that might be—not average—but, you know, expected.”

On his new music:

“I think all artists have a right to write about what happens to them.”  On his album, there will be songs about “different love scenarios that I’ve been through, breakups, hurts.  Me hurting somebody and feeling bad about it.  I think there’s a lot of scenarios where people might wanna hear my side of the story.”

On his relationship with Ashley:

On Danielle Deleasa, Kevin’s wife:

“Actually, I hit on her first. And after that she and Kevin hit it off, of course.  Now we have a fourth person traveling with us everywhere, so that’s a different thing completely.”
