Britney Spears took the stage Friday night for a secret show at Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas – her first public performance since her 2009 tour. Tuesday she performs on ‘Good Morning America.’

“OMFG it feels good to be on stage again!!” Britney tweeted Saturday morning.

Katy Perry has worn some wild costumes before.  This one takes the cake.

The pop megastar constantly shakes up her look, creating a fantasy land of different disguises: she’s gone sexy toy soldier; worn a latex catsuit; gone adult-style Candyland; and even suited up in seven unique outfits for the Kids Choice Awards, including goth, hippie and geek.

For her new “E.T.” remix video, she’s going off into space, donning a purple face, alien features and quite the head dress.

Jake Gyllenhaal recently talked about his upcoming Groundhog’s Day inspired flick, Source Code, in which he returns to the same eight minutes in existence to prevent a major catastrophe.

“I’ve lived a blessed life. I think with regret, regardless of what it might be, if you listen to it is the best teacher, in the way that it has allowed me to live more presently.[...]But in the wake of something like what is going on in Japan, even around the world, I can’t think about something that I would want to go back and re-live in my life, because my life has so far been pretty extraordinary. I would want there to be something like this computer program in the movie: Imagine if you had the ability to go back into a nuclear scientist’s body in Japan, or eight minutes before something happened – you could warn thousands of people what was going on. That’s what I would use it for. It’s hard for me to think about something for myself in the situation that is going on right now.”

“Because Ben Ripley had written such a tight script and because each Source Code had a specific theme, we named each Source Code [sequence] chapter by chapter,” the actor says. “So the first Source Code was like ‘Absolute Confusion’ and we could make it the more confusing, the better. The second one was very clear and so on and so forth with the different themes. And so knowing the second one was the same, Duncan would come up to me and say: “Make it weirder – treat everyone like they’re a computer game. Respond to them even stranger.” And because we had these clear set rules, we could than vary it…We were constantly thinking about variation and I think that’s what makes each time you go back so intriguing. By the second one you know you’re not entering or exiting the same way.”

The actress sat down with PopcornBiz to talk maturity, her future singing career, her new movie Sucker Punch and her overall well-being.

“I was so infamously known for ‘High School Musical’ and playing Gabrielle and I think she was a really impacting character. She was somebody that even I would look up to. So when you see someone like that and you get so used to it, that’s all you can see. For some people, if that’s how they want to keep thinking of me I’m totally OK with that because I think she’s a great character. I feel like I am who I am. I am turning into a woman and people will see that with this movie, so I’m like, ‘Just wait.’”

On Singing
“It’s in my veins. It’s who I am. I’m singing every day, constantly. It’s just something that’s comforting to me. I love the way that you can tell stories through music. It’s just such an escape, and such a happy get away that I feel that I try to live through.”

On Controversies & Her Well-Being
“I would say that I’m very, very content and very, very happy. I think that people can make problems for themselves regardless of where you are in your personal life or in your career. But I feel I’ve been working on trying to just be content and just trying to be happy. I think that yoga helps me a lot and kept sane physically and mentally, and I feel that through all the work that I’ve done and the people that I’ve met I’ve grown to be able to just be really comfortable in who I am. And I couldn’t be happier about it.”

On Her Sucker Punch Costume
“My fighting costume was basically a leotard made of rubber that was so skin tight that every time I zipped it up I had to suck in everything that I had. Before I came in to ‘Sucker Punch,’ I actually put on a little weight for the character before and then I realized that I had to wear these skimpy costumes and so I was like, ‘It’s hustle time! It’s go time!’ It’s definitely bulked me, up but I love it. I love when a woman is cut up and you can tell that she’s in shape.[...]The corsets, the whole wardrobe, was quite restricting, but it’s fun because I love fashion and it’s a way of expressing yourself, and I got to express myself in ways that I could never do outside of the film.”
