‘Teen Mom 2‘ star Jenelle Evans has been arrested for assault, according to TMZ.

The arrest happened late last night in North Carolina. The arrest follows an investigation after a video of the 19-year-old mother viciously attacked another woman, and the video was released online (see it here).

Evans was reportedly furious because she believed the woman had been flirting with her boyfriend, Keiffer Delp.

A warrant was issued for Evans’ arrest after police saw the video. The victim, Britany Truett, initially said she wasn’t going to press charges, but later changed her mind.

Evans is charged with assault and “affray for fighting.” She is due back in court April 26.

“Based on the information that I have received, I believe Jenelle was set up,” an attorney for Evans told TMZ.

Also – cops had a warrant for Kieffer (the guy Jenelle and Britany were fighting over) based on a cocaine charge from last year … and they found him at Jenelle’s house and arrested him too.

‘Jackass’ actor and stuntman Steve-O was arrested in Canada over the weekend, but the incident that led to the arrest occured 8 years ago!

When Steve-O arrived at the Calgary International Airport on Sunday, he was stopped by customs after officials noticed he had an outstanding warrant out for his arrest.

Steve-O, whose real name is Steve Glover, “was taken down to our arrest processing centre yesterday and appeared before a justice of the pace and released on a $10,000 cash bail,” a police spokesperson told the Calgary Sun newspaper Monday.

According to TMZ, the incident happened back in 2003.

We’re told the warrant was issued back in 2003 — for an incident in which Steve-O allegedly attacked somebody with an unknown object. So far, the identity of the victim is unclear.

Steve-O was placed behind bars for a short while — before going in front of a judge. He was eventually released on $10,000 Canadian ($10,216.60 U.S.) bail … which the actor had to pay IN CASH.

Steve-O is due back in court in May.

He was booked to do his stand-up comedy act at the Laugh Shop Comedy Club in Calgary for five shows from March 24 to 26.

Lady Gaga’s has transformed her single ‘Born This way’ into what has been dubbed “The Country Road Version,” thanks to help from producer Fernando Garibay, who also produced the original track version of ‘Born This Way.’

The country version will be accompanied by a new music video soon – and the song has some newly added lyrics: “If I wanna make it country, baby, then it’s OK, cuz I was born, I was born, I was born this way. From London, Paris, Japan back to USA/ I was born on the road, I was born to be brave.”

Kelly Osbourne is also not a fan. On her Twitter.com page, she wrote, “As much as I loooooooove Gaga I have to say the country version of born this way sounds like the theme song to Roseanne!”

Osbourne later apologized for offending the singer’s fans, but went on to point out they were acting in a way their idol would be against.

She wrote, “Looks like I unintentionally p**sed some Gaga fans off. I meant no disrespect but I do find it odd that they are being hateful… especially when Gaga dedicates a huge part of her career to the eradication of hate… it’s very sad.”

Lindsay Lohan may be soon known as simply Lindsay. Her mother, Dina Lohan has recently suggested the actress is planning a huge image overhaul, and dropping her last name is part of her plan.

Dina also admitted that she and daughter Ali will be changing their last name to Dina’s maiden name, Sullivan.

The news has enraged her ex-husband, Michael Lohan.

He tells the New York Daily News, “At the outset, it hurts to hear something like that, but at the end of the day, it’s never going to happen. It’s a real shame Dina would make up this kind of story…

“I’m proud of the Lohan name. It’s a name of integrity.”

Reese Witherspoon wed boyfriend Jim Toth at her Ojai, California ranch Saturday evening!

In a courtyard in front of the Ojai house, the Monique Lhuillier-clad actress, 35, and CAA agent Toth, 40, exchanged vows and William Goldberg wedding bands beneath a canopy.

About 120 family members and friends– including Sean Penn, Scarlett Johansson, Renee Zellweger, Tobey Maguire and wife Jennifer Meyer, Robert Downey Jr., Matthew McConaughey and love Camila Alves, Alyssa Milano, Colin Hanks, Isla Fisher and hubby Sacha Baron Cohen– were on hand for the bash.

Reverend Jimmy Bartz, of the Santa Monica church regularly attended by the couple, officiated the 20-minute service, and Witherspoon’s children (with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe) Ava, 11, and Deacon, 7, participated in the ceremony.

Matron of honor duties went to Witherspoon’s best friend Heather Rosenfield, whose little boys served as ring bearers; the star’s nieces were flower girls.

In a fitting turn for the Southern-born actress, a bluegrass band played “Tennessee Waltz” as the processional music for Toth and the kids, segueing to “Here Comes the Bride” for Witherspoon’s walk, and playing “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” during the ceremony.

Immediately following the “I do” exchange, guests retreated to a one-hour cocktail party behind the house.

The special night’s theme? Rustic, farm-style, of course! (At her bucolic Ojai spread, Witherspoon gardens and keeps horses, donkeys, pigs, goats and chickens.) The outdoor decor included lanterns and chandeliers hanging from trees, mismatched antique chairs and distressed benches set throughout the property, a wood plank dance floor, antique leather sofas, jute rugs, wago wheels and Turkish textile pillows.

Different arrangements of white, blush and lavender flowers were set up on each table in mason jars, fish catcher lanterns and antique pots. And large moss-covered pots with lavender were set up all over the estate.

When it was time for dinner, guests sat down at long tables in a fabric-lined tent behind the house. On the menu, catered by L.A. eatery Lucques: endive salad with olives and fava beans; wild striped bass with? potatoes, chanterelles and garlic; mustard grilled chicken with haricort vert and herb roasted lamb with braised artichokes. For dessert? A grand wedding cake designed by Erica O’Brien, a separate table of sweet treats — and a s’mores lounge!

After the meal, guests boogied on the dance floor to DJ-spun tunes. When it was time to call it a night, revelers departed clutching gift bags with pecan currant scones from a local baker.

Says a pal of the couple, who began dating in January 2010: “They feel like they’ve hit the jackpot in this relationship!”

‘Superman’ director Zack Snyder confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that Amy Adams has been cast as Lois Lane in his upcoming ‘Superman’ reboot.

“There was a big, giant search for Lois,” Snyder told the paper. “For us it was a big thing and obviously a really important role. We did a lot of auditioning but we had this meeting with Amy Adams and after that I just felt she was perfect for it.”

Adams is certainly in demand in Hollywood; she’s coming off her third Oscar nomination, for her role in “The Fighter,” opposite Mark Wahlberg, and is headlining “The Muppets” movie later in 2011. She’s also in talks to join the star-studded film adaptation of the musical “Rock of Ages,” which already features Tom Cruise and Alec Baldwin, among others.

Adams joins a cast that includes Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, Diane Lane as Martha Kent and Kevin Costner as Pa Kent.

While he wouldn’t comment on the plot over the weekend, Snyder did imply that Lane would be important in the story:

“What’s important to us is making [Superman] relevant and real and making him empathetic to today’s audience so that we understand the decisions he makes. That applies to Lois as well. She has to be in the same universe as him [in tone and substance],” Snyder said.
