How exactly is Jesse James an ‘American Outlaw’!? I think his book cover is pretentious and annoying. In an interview with People, he claims that we the people actually “know nothing” about him, and that if you buy his book “you’ll know everything – the whole story.” Who cares? I don’t need to read his book – I don’t feel like I need to know him.

With his memoir, American Outlaw, hitting stores May 3, James promises readers a raw and wild ride.

“I’ve lived a pretty crazy life,” James, 41, tells PEOPLE of his hardscrabble journey that spans a volatile upbringing, addiction struggles, failed marriages, artistic success and fame and the salvation of fatherhood.

“My life has been defined by many things and not just the events of the last year,” says James, whose marriage to Sandra Bullock ended in divorce last spring. “I just wanted [the memoir] to be a good story, a page-turner and hopefully people will see it as that.”

For the jacket of the memoir, published by Gallery Books, James steered clear of “some variation of a bad prom photo, serious Thinker pose like most book jackets show,” he says, and instead went for an old Western gunslinger look (holding his own .44 Magnum revolver no less). “I just wanted something different. I wasn’t going to mail it in.”

Something else he wanted? To get his real story out there. “People claim to know everything about me, when they actually know nothing,” he says. “But once you read this, you will know everything – the whole story, right here.”

Wow! Meg Ryan’s son has grown up!

Jack Henry, who will turn 19 next month, is her son with Dennis Quaid, whom she was married to for nine years.

Trivia: When I was looking up how old Jack is, I found out that Meg’s name is actually Margaret Mary Emily Anne Hyra. That’s quite a name!

Today is Lady Gaga’s 25th birthday, did she buy herself new boobies?. She was spotted in Miami today doing some shopping at Guess, and she has some obvious enhancements in the chest region! Is that just a good bra or did Gaga get implants?

A woman identified as Lady Gaga in an e-mail from Guess, Inc.’s public-relations team was photographed at the Lincoln Road Guess store in Miami. The woman, whose dark roots showed through her dyed blonde hair, displayed a considerable lack of crazy makeup, metal chastity belts, sharp metal panties, chain harnesses, pointy facial prosthetics, and other things that make sane people go WTF EYE ROLL. It remains unclear if this alleged Lady Gaga went out looking like a normal American girl in an attempt to disguise herself and throw off her mobs of rabid fans, who, Guess says, were kept under control by five security guards while the store was shut down so that this normal-looking “Lady Gaga” could shop. It also remains unclear if her display of normality is the answer to her remarkably long dedication to sartorial oddity: Now that she’s been so strange about her appearance for so long, the strangest thing she can do is to look normal.

Or maybe, today being her birthday, she just finally allowed herself to take a little rest from the usual exhaustion that is dressing herself, and heed our advice about the fabric of our lives from an earlier post.

Celebrities turned out to support Japan by running in a marathon for the American Red Cross in Santa Monica, CA over the weekend. Runners included Fergie and husband Josh Duhamel and sisters Paris and Nicky Hilton among others who all wore custom shirts from Japanese clothing company Toki Doki bearing the phrase “Ganbare Nippon!” or “Hang in there Japan!”.
