Last year it was announced that Elisabetta Canalis would be the face of Roberto Cavalli underwear. Today we’re getting our first look at the Italian beauty (and George Clooney’s girlfriend) in a new ad!
Cavalli, who is also Italian, had this to say about Elisabetta: “For my new underwear collection I chose Elisabetta again… my ideal of a woman: charm, charisma and sensuality, united together. Elisabetta Canalis and I have been friends for a while now, we’ve worked together in the past and once again during this shoot she was perfect in enhancing the spirit of this advertising campaign. With her Mediterranean beauty and intense gaze she’s interpreted an intriguing and super-feminine woman.”
What do you think of the ad? (Thank GOD they photoshopped out that hideous arm band tattoo! A little history… the ugly arm band tattoo she has on her right arm was put there to cover up ‘Eminem‘ which she had tattooed previously. No, they never dated – guess she just really likes his music.)
Heidi Klum shows her other side. A woman who’s made millions in her underwear and taught us all to be fashion designers is now punking the preschool set. In the March issue of Lucky, Heidi Klum talks about her personal style icon, Big Mac’s and her shopping buddy.
Here are a few questions Heidi answered for a Lucky questionnaire:
My personal style icon is: “My mom—she inspires me and I inspire her so we end up looking the same in the end.”
If you had to take a politician to the CFDA awards, it would be: “President Obama, because if I can bring anyone, why not go for the top?! Plus, he’s hot!”
When I’m happy: “I treat myself to a Big Mac, fries and a Coke.”
The best person to go shopping with is: “My gay husband Michael Ostrow because he says, “No, it’s not the pants. It’s your ass that makes your ass look big!”
If you were trapped on a desert island and your husband were visiting, what would you wear? “A pair of Louboutins…That’s it!”
The March issue of Lucky is on newsstands February 8th.
On Monday, February 7, E!’s hit late night series ‘Chelsea Lately’ welcomes the beautiful and talented Jennifer Aniston. Chelsea Handler, E!’s queen of comedy, sat with her good friend and star of “Just Go With It” for a hilarious chat.
Jennifer has been doing the rounds to promote her new movie lately. The actress guested on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show’ on Wednesday co-star Adam Sandler, and the told a story about how she almost joined the cast of ‘Saturday Night Live’… but picked a little show known as ‘Friends’ instead.
“We wanted Aniston to be on the show with us,” Sandler remembered. “I remember being on the ninth floor where [SNL exec] Lorne Michaels‘ office was, and seeing Jen come in. I was like, ‘Oh my God, there’s Aniston. Is she about to be on our show?’”
Turns out, she had other plans.
“She said no? She’s gonna do that ‘Friends’? What the hell is ‘Friends?’” Sandler recalled while laughing. “That was the truth.”
For her part, Aniston remembered that ‘SNL’ seemed like a “boys club”… oh, and she ended up becoming world famous on ‘Friends.’ As Oprah said, seemed like it worked out.
