Ashlee Simpson and son Bronx Mowgli do some grocery shopping by themselves in Encino, California yesterday (February 25). Ashlee sports a black hooded sweatshirt and a long navy blue coat as she holds her son close… while the little one holds his mommy’s cell phone!

In case you didn’t know, Ashlee Simpson announced her split from Pete Wentz just a few weeks ago.

Inside the Longacre Theater, where Kelsey Grammer and Kayte Walsh tied the knot, the space was still decorated with props from La Cage aux Folles, as well as huge bouquets of pink and red flowers in gold urns.

During the emotional ceremony, performed by Terry Lavell who was Grammer’s costar in the Broadway hit musical, attendants read poems that the bride and groom had written for one another. As the couple listened, they appeared to be holding back tears, according to one guest.

After Walsh’s brother, Stuart, sang “Feels Like Home” by Randy Newman, Grammer, 55, and Walsh, 29, recited traditional vows.

“They looked very happy,” a wedding guest told PEOPLE after the ceremony, “really, really happy.”

In addition to Lavell, the couple was attended by Grammer’s two eldest daughters, Spencer and Greer, Walsh’s sister, Sophie, and friend Angela Copeland. The women wore matching black dresses and Christian Louboutin pumps. The bride wore a silk sheath gown with beaded straps and bodice – a custom design by Peter Langner for Mark Ingram, according to Access Hollywood. Grammer’s son Jude, joined Walsh’s brothers as groomsmen, and the best man was friend Carl DeGersdorff.

Today (February 25), Kelsey Grammer and his fiancée, Kayte Walsh, marry in New York City. Umbrellas and screened car windows block the arrival of the two for their wedding on Broadway. The actor and his bride-to-be tie the knot on the same stage where Kelsey starred in a revival of the musical “La Cage aux Folles.”

In case you didn’t know, this wedding took place just weeks after Kelsey and ex-wife Camille finalized their divorce!
