Are Katy Perry and Russell Brand already getting couples counselling?

Three months into their marriage, Katy Perry and Russell Brand may already be hitting a bump. In January, just weeks before launching her worldwide tour, Katy “started asking friends to recommend a marriage counselor,” an insider tells Life & Style.

The two married in October after just fourth months of dating and a whirlwind 10-month engagement. But since saying their ‘I do’s’, the couple have been pulled in opposite directions by their careers. Russell has been based in LA and NYC, where he’s shooting the movie Arthur, while Katy’s been performing all over the world. And on Feb. 20, she’ll kick off her 95-date, 10 month international California Dreams tour.

When Russell filmed Arthur over the summer, “Katy was around all the time,” a set insider tells Life & Style. For the film’s recent reshoots, however, “She hasn’t been by,” the insider confirms.

While they’re living separate lives already, seeking couples therapy shows Katy and Russell aren’t giving up. The Teenage Dream singer recently told Elle Magazine on her marriage, “I think you can have it all. You just have to work really hard, because great things don’t come easily. Everyone’s been told that marriage is hard work, and it is: You have to make time for the things you love.”

Sarah Palin calls Christina Aguilera: “a demanding beauty queen who’s clearly in over her head.”

Them be fighting words! Sarah Palin is spitting fire after Christina Aguilera’s performance at the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Sarah was on Sean Hannity’s radio show on Monday, and she had some choice words for Christina, after the singer messed up the words to the National Anthem.

The 46-year-old former Governor bashed the singer, saying she’s a “a demanding beauty queen who’s clearly in over her head. Public figures must be held accountable for what they say,” Palin complained. “Here’s another case of an airhead diva going on TV, running her mouth off, sounding like a fool. She doesn’t understand something so basic about America, yet we’re supposed to tolerate her diva behavior? Americans can see through that, Sean.”

She criticized the NFL for letting the “spicy Latin princesses” sing. “Unemployment is at nine percent, yet we have to suffer through a performance by a foreigner with a poor grasp of the English language?” Palin argued. “If I were president, I’d deport Ms. Aguilera back to wherever it is she’s from and give Amy Smart a call.”

UPDATE: US Weekly has completely removed this whole story from their site. Could this all be BS? Hmm….

UPDATE 2: The story was a complete hoax.

The quotes came from a parody site called SuperTuesdayNews, GossipCop points out.

The fake Palin quotes, since deleted from UsMagazine.com, included the Alaska Republican calling the pop singer an “airhead diva” and telling Hannity that Aguilera “doesn’t understand something so basic about America.”

“I’m sure Ms. Aguilera is a very nice person, but I just think the American people deserve better than a demanding beauty queen who’s clearly in over her head,” the parody continued.

“It boggles the mind that a major outlet could read these obviously satirical, fake quotes and treat them as the real deal,” GossipCop wrote. “However badly Aguilera botched the anthem last Sunday, Us Weekly just did a hundred times worse.”

Lindsay Lohan posts $40,000 bail, is a free woman…for now.

Less than 15 minutes after the judge arriving in court this afternoon, did she revoke Lindsay’s probation for allegedly stealing a $2,500 necklace. Lindsay’s lawyer waived the right to have the charges read, and entered a plea of not guilty.

Judge Keith Schwartz set Lindsay’s bail at $40,000 — $20,000 for the theft charge and $20,000 for the probation violation. Lohan will appear before the judge again on February 23.

Deputy District Attorney Danette Meyers also asked that Lohan and her “associates” stay away from Kamofie & Co., whose employees were alarmed after receiving “some flowers” on Lohan’s behalf; Schwartz agreed to Meyers’ request.

“You’re in a different situation now that a felony has been filed against you. Although people have been courteous, in this court’s opinion, in only requesting $20,000 in the probation violation, you now have a pending felony case. If you violate the law, I will remand you and set no bail,” Schwartz told Lohan.

“You’re no different than anyone else, so please don’t push your luck, because I’m telling you, things will be different,” he warned. “Do you understand what I’m telling you?

“Yes, your Honor,” she responded.

Lohan was then remanded behind closed doors; she was not handcuffed.

Lindsay posted her bail – and is a free woman.

Was Lindsay’s tight white dress appropriate?

There’s been a lot of discussions online about the dress Lindsay Lohan chose to wear when she stood in front of the judge. A lot of people are of the opinion that the dress was an inappropriate choice, that she’s not taking these new charges serious enough.

What do you think? Was her dress the right choice?

Judge issues Lindsay Lohan stern warning: “Don’t push your luck!” – remands her into custody!

Here’s the update from TMZ:

Lindsay Lohan was just remanded into custody — following a STRONG warning from Judge Keith Schwartz – “You’re no different than anyone else … please don’t push your luck.”

Moments after Lohan entered a not guilty plea in her felony theft case — the judge came down on her like a ton of bricks … telling her “things will be different” this time around because she’s on the hook for a felony.

Lohan — alongside attorney Shawn Chapman Holley — was then remanded into custody … and is currently being booked.

Judge Schwartz set her bail at $20,000 — but warned, “If you violate the law, I will remand you and there will be NO BAIL.”

Lohan was also ordered to refrain from contacting the jewelry store during the case.

Story developing…

Lindsay apparently appeared shaken up at first, but quickly loosened up once she realized she wasn’t going to jail right away. Her next court appearance was set for Feb. 23 at 8:30 AM.
