Earlier this morning I posted the “explanation” of Lady Gaga’s egg arrival last night at the Grammy Awards. Now I have the pics to go with it.
Here are the pictures of Lady Gaga arriving at the Grammy Awards last night via giant egg.
Gaga was nominated for 6 awards last night, and came home with three, including Best Pop Vocal Album for The Fame Monster.
After performing ‘Born This Way’ Gaga was spotted chatting with Usher, Justin Bieber and Willow Smith (pic below).
I’m over the horns and pointy shoulders. NEXT!

I don’t know about you, but last night when Esperanza Spalding won for Best New Artist at the Grammy Awards, I said outloud – “Who the heck is Esperanza Spalding!?” While I’m sure she’s great, I’ve never heard of her – and thought she was an odd choice – considering her competition. (I was shouting “LET MUMFORD & SONS WIN!!”)
But according to Pop Eater, moments after Esperanza won Best New Artist, Bieber fans around the globe went on a rampage.
Spalding, an emerging jazz artist with a less fervent following than Biebs, saw her Wikipedia page attacked by the little hackers. At points, her middle name on the page was changed to both “Justin” and “Quesadilla.” Someone also wrote: “Justin Bieber deserved it go die in a hole. Who the heck are you anyway?”
Beliebers, as Justin’s fans are called, went through various phases of revolt following his loss. First, they were very, very angry and acted out on Twitter and Facebook by calling Spalding a variety of expletives, some of which were upsettingly racist.
Following the anger, the Beliebers tried to rationalize what had happened to them and their hero. Bieber fans seemed vaguely confused about how one goes about winning a Grammy. Isn’t it based on how popular you are on Twitter? They seemed lost that someone like Spalding, who has much fewer followers on the networking site, could have been given the award.
“So the Esperanza Spalding has only 8 thousand followers on twitter and how many does justin bieber has?” one fan tweeted and many agreed.
During this time, a small sleeper cell of fans plotted the sneak attack on Spalding’s Wikipedia entry. By this morning, most of Spalding’s page had been restored with its pre-win information.
Bieber himself was gracious about the loss. It is actually win-win for him, since martyrdom typically translates into cash. This will no doubt inspire his army of sometimes wicked fans to try to support the Biebs in other ways. His biopic ‘Never Say Never’ topped $30 million at the weekend box office. His devoted fans now have more of a reason than ever to visit theaters, if only to say, “Esperanza Spalding doesn’t have a 3-D movie.”
Gawker took a screen pic of her Wikipedia page – before it was fixed. Poor Esperanza. Ouch!

I about jumped out of my couch in glee when Canada’s rock indie band Arcade Fire won last night for Album of the Year at the Grammy Awards! I absolutely LOVED the album “The Suburbs” one of my favorites of the year, for sure!
Was it surprising that an idie rock band, whose album has sold a mere 400,000 copies. Compare that to Lady Gaga’s “Fame Monster” which sold 5.8 million copies, and Eminem’s “Recovery” which sold 5.7 million.
Is Arcade Fire’s win an upset? Many sites are reporting the win a “shocking” one. Many suspected Lady Gaga’s, Lady Antebellum or Eminem would take home the prize.
After the win, the band tweeted: “OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. Thank you EVERYONE.”
What do you think? Who should have taken home the prize for Album of the Year in your opinion?

Did you all catch that during Katy Perry’s performance at last night’s Grammy Awards, she showed video of her wedding to Russell Brand behind her?
During her performance of Not Like The Movies, the singer was lowered on to that stage on swing, with a video of her in a wedding dress projected on to white netting behind her.
Then images of her and Brand taking their wedding vows appeared behind her.
The couple never sold or released any photographs from their October nuptials in India.
I thought it was beautiful! Nice touch, considering last week they were plagued by rumors that they were having marital trouble, and were already seeing couples therapy.

Lady Gaga arrived on the red carpet of the Grammy’s last night in a giant egg! E! has the reason why she chose this for her entrance.
Gaga’s choreographer and creative director, Laurieann Gibson, explained to our own Ryan Seacrest: “This is a womb…designed by Hussein Chalayan. She’s now incubating, and she’s been in there a serious amount of time so we can’t let you know what it’s made of.”
And Nurse Anne V., the blond (and horned) glamazon also escorting the egg across the red carpet, chimed in, “Lady Gaga’s heartbeat is 126 bpm. She’s very excited to be here. She will be birthed during her performance this evening.”
What do you guys think of Lady Gaga these days? She released her new song ‘Born This Way’ on Friday (listen to it here), and in my humble opinion, it didn’t live up to the hype. Last night I found her rather annoying. It’s all a bit too much for me. It’s getting old. Was she supposed to be an egg yold onstage? Was that what that hat was?
With that said, I liked her Grammy’s performance, what did you think?
Poor Christina Aguilera! Following her disastrous performance at the Super Bowl last week some said performing at the Grammy’s was her do-over. She performed a tribute to Aretha Franklin alongside Martina McBride, Jennifer Hudson, and Florence Welch, singing “Ain’t No Way” flawlessly.
Once she was done performing, she fell as she was trying to leave the stage. Watch the video above (I totally missed it last night!).
