I’m so excited! Just downloaded myself a copy of Radiohead’s new album, ‘King of Limbs’. You can get a copy for only $9 here!
It wasn’t supposed to be released until Saturday, but it’s out early!
The followup to the amazingly free “In Rainbows,” this album will cost you some money, though it’s cheaper to download it now than to buy the packaged sets being released a bit further into the future.
They’ve also released the music video for the first single, “Lotus Flower.”
I can’t even tell you how excited I am about this movie. I cannot wait!! I read the books, and I absolutely loved them! The trailer looks like the movie did the books justice!
Lindsay Lohan had a late night last night – arriving at the Roosevelt Hotel around 1:45 in the morning. But, according to TMZ, she didn’t leave alone.
About 45 minutes after arriving at the hotel, she was pictured leaving with ex-girlfriend, Samantha Ronson. Lindsay left her car at the hotel, and left with Samantha.
Britney Spears’s manager Larry Rudolph has explained the meaning behind the fight scene in her new music video.
The singer, who unveiled the highly-anticipated clip for ‘Hold It Against Me’ last night (see it here), is seen punching and kicking a double of herself in the promo.
“There are really two different Britneys,” he explained to MTV. “There’s a public Britney and there’s a private Britney, and they’re very different.
“Maybe the world doesn’t really know that – maybe those of us who do know her really well understand that, but there really are two different Britneys. Maybe at some times the two Britneys are at odds with each other; most of the time they’re not.”
He continued: “There’s some of that going on. I think it’s also about Britney just being strong and still on top after all these years. But there’s a few different ways to look at it.”
Addressing reports Spears used a body double for the shoot, she admitted: “Of course, there was a body double in there that she was fighting most of the time, which is where some confusion came in. I heard some rumors that she used a body double.
“The reality is, she used a body double for the fight scene.”
I think the video is a huge disappointment. It would be nice to see that old Britney – the one we all fell in love with. She’s lost her charisma – her spark. Now she just looks sad.
After a long wait – here is the HIGHLY ANTICIPATED (I don’t get it, she can’t even sing) video for Britney Spears new song, ‘Hold It Against Me’. I think I liked the video more than the song – which isn’t saying a whole lot, because I hate the song.
Without further ado – here it is!
My thoughts:
0:40 – Ok, nice advertisement for your perfume, Brit. Not tacky at all.
0:48 – Makeup Forever product placement? Bleh
1:34 – Sony product placement… C’mon!
2:30 – What the heck are those things dancing around her!? Freaky!
2:50 – Best part of the video, IMO.
2:50 – 3:15 – Actually this is my favorite part…she’s not singing.
3:29 – They don’t show her face, because there’s no way she’s doing that dancing!
3:57 – You kind of see her dancing – but then again, not so much… they keep the camera off her as much as possible!
In my humble opinion the video is all smoke and mirrors. It was like they’re trying to hide the fact that she doesn’t really have it anymore. I don’t know what it is – but she doesn’t even look like she’s enjoying it anymore. It’s like the spark is gone.
Dita Von Teese has had a long, painful road in creating her own fragrance. Back in December she was rejected by a major perfume company over fears that she wasn’t “famous enough” to carry her own line.
She told WWD.com, “What I really want to do is make my own fragrance. I don’t want to smell like anyone else. I have to talk to the smaller companies, because the bigger ones, like Coty, are like ‘Well, not everyone knows your name, like the Kardashians or Victoria Beckham.’”
Is her dream finally coming true? The burlesque beauty posted on Twitter, “Isolated at a chateau in the French countryside w/my perfumers. “No fruit, no vanilla, no candy!! Velvet sensuality w/a dash of vulgarity! I want to evoke passion with fragrance….intense love/lust and distaste/fear rather than merely popular acceptance.”
