What’s the verdict? Hot or not?

Adele’s stunning new album, ’21′ has finally been released today, after two long years since her last album, ’19′. It’s been out for a month in her native U.K. (and also most of Europe) where it’s been dominating the charts. Having listened to the album obsessively myself, I can see why it’s doing so well. It is a spectacular album.

’21′ is the follow-up to Adele’s debut album ’19′ back in 2008. At 22 years-old, I can’t believe what she’s accomplished in just two albums. I can’t wait to hear what’s coming up on her next album.

She recently opened up to MTV about being an artist in the US: “Oh, it’s magical being here. I didn’t think I’d ever release a record here,” she laughed. “It’s a big deal in England. There’s a massive thing, like, ‘Did you crack America?!?’ The biggest acts in England, no one has any idea who they are here. … I’m not a radio artist here, I’m not on pop stations really, I have these songs that go everywhere. So it really is people are proper behind me here, because I sell records; I don’t sell singles. And that doesn’t happen anywhere.”

I’m just in love with this album. It’s got so much of everything – a little country, a little jazz, a little R&B, a little bluegrass. She blends them all beautifully in one stunning album. Out of the 11 songs on the album, I can’t think of one I don’t like. There are so many favorites, I just love the whole thing.

The album has several sad songs (“Rolling in the Deep,” “Set Fire to the Rain” and “Someone Like You”), which she has said are about the end of her first “real relationship”. Even though the songs are dark – they are powerful. “It broke my heart when I wrote this record, so the fact that people are taking it to their hearts is like the best way to recover. ‘Cause I’m still not fully recovered. It’s going to take me 10 years to recover, I think, from the way I feel about my last relationship,” she said. “It was the biggest deal in my entire life to date. … He made me totally hungry. … He was older, he was successful in his own right, whereas my boyfriends before were my age and not really doing much. And he got me interested in film and literature and food and wine and traveling and politics and history, and those were things I was never, ever interested in. I was interested in going clubbing and getting drunk.”

“I heard that you’re settled down, that you found a girl, and you’re married now,” Adele sings on the closing track, “Someone Like You.”

“I heard that your dreams came true, guess she gave you things I didn’t give to you,” she continues over a simple piano melody.

Adele performed “Someone Like You” at the Brit Awards earlier this month, and the astonishing performance has already been viewed by almost 2 million people on You Tube. Enjoy the video below!

What wonderful news! So You Think You Can Dance judge Mary Murphy is now cancer free!

The 52-year-old was given a squeaky clean bill of health by her doctors after undergoing surgery in December to have a tumor in her thyroid removed.

“I’m very grateful because I’m so upset at myself that I didn’t go in earlier,” She said in a statement. “They told me that the tumor had to come out and there’s a chance I might not be able to talk again. Outside of the word ‘cancer,’ I really couldn’t imagine my life without hearing myself laugh.”

“I just want to kiss my doctor.” I definitely feel like there’s an angel on my shoulder. I feel like somebody’s looking out for me.”

Alyssa Milano is going to be a mom!

The actress, 38, and her husband Dave Bugliari, 32, are expecting their first child, Milano’s rep confirms to PEOPLE exclusively.

“They’re just over the moon,” says a friend of the Who’s The Boss and Charmed alum, who’s due in early fall. “They are so excited.”

Milano and Bugliari – an agent at the Creative Artists Agency – wed in August 2009 in New Jersey after meeting three years prior.
