Even though TMZ reported earlier today that Lindsay would stay in rehab a couple extra days – looks like that’s not the case, because Lindsay is out of rehab!

As of a couple hours ago, Lindsay Lohan was released from the Betty Ford Clinic in Los Angeles after completing a 90-day stint!

Her father Michael told CBS Early Show on Monday it’s important for he and Lindsay’s mother Dina to put aside their long-running bad blood to present a united front for the sake of their recovering daughter.

“I’ll say this now: I don’t want to be held responsible in the future,” Michael said. “If Dina and I can’t get on the same page and resolve the differences she believes that we have, it’s going to be a never-ending battle for Lindsay. She needs that stability in her family. All my kids need it.”

Poor David Hasselhoff! After his A&E show was cancelled after only two episodes, David flew to Australia to help promote a new ice cream! A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do!

Next stop? New Zealand! The Hoff is heading to Mount Maunganui’s main beach on January 6 to promote a new Streets ice-block.

The Bay of Plenty Times reports the Mount Maunganui Surf Life Saving Club has been paid a fee to host Hasselhoff, and will offer uniformed lifeguards as security. The club plans to take advantage of the 3000-strong crowd expected by fundraising with a bucket collection.

Jessica’s brother-in-law, Pete Wentz has nothing but great things to say about the Simpson family. He recently opened up to PEOPLE at the CIROC New Year’s Eve party about what it’s like being married into the Simpson clan.

“The great thing about being part of the Simpson family is that they’re really welcoming – you feel right at home right away,” Wentz, who is married to Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, told PEOPLE at the CIROC New Year’s Eve party at the Hard Rock Hotel in Chicago where he celebrated 2011 with his wife.

“Jessica’s been a great sister [to me] and the Simpson family has been a great support system for me and Ashlee and [son] Bronx,” says Wentz. “They’re my home away from home on the West Coast. It’s really easy and natural to transition into the family.”

How does is Johnson fitting in so far? “Pretty easily, I think,” said Wentz. “I only know him from being around Jessica and I know he makes Jessica really happy so that’s the best thing in the world.”

According to Pop Eater, Scarlett Johansson’s soon-to-be-ex-husband Ryan Reynolds is spending quite a bit of time with a single Sandra Bullock!

“Sandra loves Ryan,” a friend of Ryan’s tells me. “They became very good friends when they filmed ‘The Proposal,’ but they are not a couple, at least not yet.”

For now, “They love spending quality time together.”

Adding fuel to the rumors, the two celebrated New Year’s together at Bess Bistro, which Sandra owns in Texas. New photographs show them sitting next to each other with three other friends — with Sandra dressed as a flapper.

“They are both newly single and leaning on each other for support,” an insider tells me. “Who knows what will happen in the future, but any rumors of them being together and splitting up Ryan’s marriage to Scarlett are false.”

My source adds: “Sandra would never get involved with a married man after what her ex did to her. She has way too much respect for Scarlett, Ryan, the institution of marriage and herself to do that.”

This may be far fetched, but here’s to hoping it’s true! I think they would make a great couple! Both seem very genuine and sweet.

ET sat down with Hugh Hefner and his fiancée Crystal Harris at the Playboy Mansion for the dish on their wedding, their 60-year-age gap, and whether or not they plan on having kids, all for a new interview to air tonight, January 3rd.

Hugh and Crystal tell ET they’re eyeing a summer wedding at the Mansion, an “intimate” ceremony with close friends and family — “no big, blow-out affair,” Hef says. “Giving it another chance after a couple of failed marriages is an adventure, but it’s something that I’m committed to,” the Playboy mogul says.

But what about that big age gap between 84-year-old Hef and 24-year-old Crystal? Is it problematic? “I don’t notice the age difference with Hef at all,” Crystal says. “If anything I have to keep up with him”. Speaking of keeping up, when asked if he is still sexually active, Hugh says, “I’m doing my best. Dancin’ as fast as I can.”

Which begs the question: Does Hef want more children? “Well, we’ll see. That’s not part of the big plan,” he says.

One thing that’s not in question: Hef’s love for his Playmate bride-to-be. “She’s a beautiful human being inside and out; a woman with real character and humor,” he says. “We’re really devoted to each other. I think that the relationship is the center of both our lives.”

She doesn’t notice the age difference? HA! That’s impossible! How would she not notice a 60-year-difference!

PS: That is an awkward photo! Looks like she’s posing with her fiance on the right – and Hugh could be her grandfather!
