The gorgeous Natalie Portman presented an award at last night’s People’s Choice Awards alongside her ‘No Strings Attached’ costar Ashton Kutcher.  The pair presented the award for Favorite Movie.

Dressed in a loose black and blue Jason Wu shift dress, Portman, 29, skipped the red carpet and opted for a more low-key evening, keeping her hands clasped in front of her stomach while talking with friends backstage, according to Us Weekly.

The ‘Black Swan’ star recently announced her pregnancy and engagement to the film’s choreographer and her dance partner Benjamin Millepied.

The ’30 Rock’ star wants to work in the government because he “deeply cares about the middle class” and thinks many politicians are failing to deal with the problems the country faces.

He said: “Yes, it’s something I’m very interested in. I do believe that people want to believe that someone who deeply cares about the middle class … would like to seek public office.

“We’ve had men who are Ivy League-groomed running this country since 1988. We’ve had men, regardless of their background, 22 years of Yale and Harvard and the problems aren’t getting solved.”

Despite his political ambitions, the 52-year-old actor believes he would find it difficult to quit his current career – like actor Arnold Schwarzenegger had to do when he ran for the office of Governor of California in 2003.

He added in an interview on CNN: “People would say to me all the time, ‘Why would you want to run for office?’

“And sometimes I don’t want to do it, because to leave what I’m doing now would be extremely painful because I like what I’m doing now.

“To quit now where it feels good would be enormously difficult.”

Katy Perry will guest star on an episode of CBS hit show How I Met Your Mother later this season as a potential love interest for Josh Radnor’s Ted, CBS said Thursday.

The episode, titled Oh Honey, will see her play Zoey’s (Jennifer Morrison) cousin, described as “a beautiful, naive girl who the gang resorts to calling ‘honey’.”

“Katy is a tremendous talent and we are delighted to be able to work with her,” said Carter Bays, co-creator and executive producer of the show.

Zac Efron kept a low profile after leaving the house of his ex-girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens in Los Angeles yesterday. It’s reportedly the second day in a row he’s been seen at her place – sparking rumors that the longtime couple has gotten back together.

The couple broke up last month while Zac was in Louisiana filming ‘The Lucky One’ (which is why he shaved his head).
