Students at Washington University don’t want to hear about teen pregnancy prevention and abstinence from Bristol Palin, so they’ve dropped her from a speaking engagement that was scheduled for next month!

Palin, who became pregnant with now two-year-old son Tripp at age 17, was invited by the Student Health Advisory Committee to talk about abstinence during the university’s Student Sexual Responsibility Week.

But after undergrads protested the use of student-generated money to fund Palin’s reportedly several thousand dollar fee, her appearance was canceled Thursday.

“People are getting so angry because of the opposition to Palin’s lack of expertise and the high cost she is charging,” said student Philip Thomas, who started the protest.

Fellow undergrad, Ryan McCombe started a Facebook page to petition Palin’s appearance and gathered several harsh comments about the daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin.

“Bristol Palin got pregnant at 17, and rose to fame on none of her own merits, only the fact that her mother ran for Vice President, she has zero credentials in this area, and costs a ton of money,” wrote one member.

Added another, “I mean, is Bristol honestly going to say that she was trying to make a baby and lay back and thought of England? Or that that she had sex, without understanding the steps to be taken in order not to become pregnant?”

Student advisory president, Scott Elman said the decision for Palin not to appear was “100 percent mutual” between her and the committee.

Katy Perry is going on her California Dreams tour next month and she is talking about how she gets in shape for all of the performing that she has to do. Even though she’s busy with that, she says that she still has time for one guilty pleasure, In-N-Out Burger!

OK! Magazine reports:

In an interview with Rolling Stone (via Huffington Post), she explains, “After this interview I’m going to have a nice healthy breakfast. I’m on a meal plan which absolutely sucks – but on Sundays I get to have a cheat day where I go buck wile and eat In-N-Out Burger. Then I’ll work out, go to a vocal lesson, run through the entire set at rehearsals, go to dance rehearsal until 10 p.m. and then go home and sort through e-mails concerning the production. I feel like I’m training for the Olympics.”

Now that we know details about her regimen, what can we expect from her show? From the sound of it, lots of costumes. It requires 15 outfit changes and she notes it’ll “smell like you’re in cotton candy heaven.” She adds, “I have this whole thing in my show that is about candy and cupcake and meat. It’s both really sweet and shocking, but not in a sexual way.”

Jeremy Piven had nothing but good words for his So Undercover co-star Miley Cyrus!

He said that he had a really good time filming with her in New Orleans, despite there being a 27-year age difference between them.

“I think I must be an 18-year-old girl because we got along really well,” Piven told E! News while promoting his new drama I Melt With You at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah. “It was just so much fun. I had so much fun with her and we had great chemistry. It was really really weird — we’re like polar opposites.”

Though Cyrus has had her fair share of controversies recently — she was caught smoking salvia out of a bong on November 28 — Piven insists the Hannah Montana star has a good head on her shoulders.

“You know, you can judge her, but what were you doing when you were 18?” he asked. “She’s kind of amazing. There’s something so incredibly refreshing about someone who is exactly who they are. There’s nothing pretentious about her. She’s this force. She loves to laugh.”

We’ve got to hand it to Kim Cattrall, she definitely looks good for her age!

She says that it’s not easy keeping trim, especially now that she’s in her fifties. People magazine reports:

“I’ve been dieting my whole life because I have a tremendous appetite,” she said recently at a brunch at Butter in New York to announce her new role as the spokeswoman for I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter.

Luckily Cattrall, 54, says that she grew up with a healthy attitude about food and exercise. “This generation of women that I’m in, we have been brought up with Jane Fonda workout tapes and fresh air is good for you and exercise every day and drink eight cups of water…. and it’s paid off at this time of my life,” says the actress. “It gets harder because parts of my body don’t want to be on a diet, but at the same time it gets me up in the morning to work out.”

So, what is her culinary weakness? “I make a really mean chocolate cake and a glass of milk. French food and anything creamy and whippy,” she adds. “And sometimes, it’s a drink – Campari and tonic [is my favorite].”

And while she she is stepping back into the dating pool, that isn’t the reason she maintains her figure. “I don’t do it for a guy. I do it for me. It’s about taking care of yourself.”

As for romance, Cattrall, who split from husband Mark Levinsonin 2003 says, “I am starting to date, but I’m just dipping my toes. I think, especially at this point in my life, I feel pretty happy. I like who I’ve become and it’s changing always. I’m kind of embracing that.”

Charlie Sheen isn’t going to check into rehab anytime soon because Charlie doesn’t feel that he has a problem with drugs. The man has been hospitalized twice in the past three months – both with cocaine connections, but rehab is out of the question.

People magazine reports:

He’s home now, but as questions arise as to what led to Charlie Sheen’s hospitalization Thursday with what were described as abdominal pains, a friend of the Two and a Half Men star tells PEOPLE: “He definitely did not OD but, yes, he was partying.”

The friend adds: “He doesn’t think he’s going to die. He doesn’t want to stop. In his eyes, he thinks, ‘I’m having fun, so what? I’m making $2 million a week, the show has the best ratings, I show up for up work. What’s the problem?’ ”

The actor, 45, was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where his parents Martin and Janet Sheen soon arrived. On Friday morning, the actor’s rep told PEOPLE: “Charlie Sheen left the hospital last night and is at home. He will be on the set of Two and a Half Men on Tuesday.”

He really does need a wake up call!
