TMZ is reporting that the investigation into the slaying of Notorious B.I.G. was “reinvigorated” just a few months ago as a result of new information … 13 years after he was killed in Los Angeles … this according to CNN.
A task force made up of local and federal law enforcement agencies is actively pursuing new leads, according to the network, but no further details are known.
The investigation reportedly includes the Los Angeles Police Department, L.A. County District Attorney’s Office and the FBI.
Biggie was shot and killed in 1997 while riding in an SUV after a music industry party at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles.

While Teen Mom star Amber is considering quitting the hit show admitting that airing her dirty laundry on TV has ruined her life, her participation still earns her a whopping $280,000 a year. So as a single mom with no GED, what will Amber do for income after the show? Her brother Shawn Portwood tells Life & Style exclusively that Amber hopes to become a model after Teen Mom.
“When she’s done with the show, Amber wants to be a glamorous pinup girl, like Marilyn Monroe,” her brother Shawn tells Life & Style. “People have already been asking her to do modeling — somebody even asked her if she would do porn, which she’s not interested in.” Adult entertainment company Vivid reportedly offered Amber $500,000 to get X-rated on camera.
Amber’s recent slim down from a size 11 to a size 5 has given her a major confidence boost. “She always looked up to ‘50’s pinup models because they’re known for their hourglass curves,” an insider tells Life & Style. “She thinks modeling would give her a more grown-up image and allow her to support Leah.”
A model!? Seriously!?

Brad Pitt is allegedly in “secret talks” to play John Lennon in a biopic of the late Beatles star, according to the Daily Express.
The actor, who reportedly wants to produce and act in the feature, is said to have “won over” Lennon’s widow Yoko Ono when the pair met recently to discuss the project.
Pitt is supposedly intending to sing Lennon’s songs himself instead of using backing tracks.
“Brad already has a writer working on the script. And Yoko has given the project her blessing so long as it’s true to John’s life,” an insider is quoted as saying.
“Brad wants to do all the singing himself and plans to take voice lessons. If he can’t pull it off they’ll use John’s own voice. Brad has also been immersing himself in videos and books so he can get Lennon’s mannerisms down pat.”
Man, I don’t know how I feel about this. I don’t know if he’s the right person for the role! I don’t know who I think would be better, just seems like weird casting to me. What do you think?

Cause he’s a motha-f**kin monsta! (I CANNOT get his ‘Monster’ song out of my head. It was stuck in my head until about 4:00am this morning…thanks a lot Kanye!)
Anyway, a photographer is suing Kanye West after he reportedly sustained injuries three years ago during a scuffle with Kanye’s security team.
Michael Vasquez claims that the assault took place during a May 2008 party in New York. West was on hand to perform at the event, during which Vasquez claims that “his agents, servants and/or employees acting in the course and within the scope of their employment, detained and/or threatened and/or caused plaintiff to suffer injuries.”Vasquez, 44, went on to say, “The assault and battery was committed by the defendant, West, [his] agents, servants and/or employees, with malice” and caused him “physical, mental and emotional illness.”
According to the NY Post, police confirm that Vasquez did file a report hours after the incident, detailing that his cell phone and camera had been confiscated from him during the scuffle.
Police threw out the original case, after finding that the “complaint was unfounded.” Vasquez is now seeking an unspecified amount of monetary compensation for his suffering.

“The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Camille Grammer makes an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Friday, January 7th. Ellen works out the entire show and Camille joins her on a stationary bike during her interview. She talks about why she decided to star in the reality show and whether or not she’s returning for the second season, her relationship with co-star Kyle Richards and reveals details about her divorce from Kelsey Grammer.
On why Camille decided to star in the reality show…
Ellen: Why did you do it?
Camille: Why did I do it? Kelsey wanted me to do it.
Ellen: Kelsey wanted you to do it?
Camille: Kelsey wanted me to do it. I didn’t want to do the show. I wasn’t ready to expose my life that way. We’ve been a private couple for a long time and I had seen you a couple times at awards shows and stuff like that but for the most part, we kept to ourselves. I was surprised that he wanted me to do to it too. I was like, “Are you crazy? Why are you making me do this?” But he thought it would be good for me to do something that was separate from us being a couple. This is something that was my own thing.
On her relationship with co-star/friend Kyle Richards…
Camille: I love Kyle. We do get along. We are friends. Believe it or not. But at times, you know, our personalities just clash. So there’s one day we love each other and we’re laughing and going to dinner and then two days after, we’re fighting about something ridiculous.
Ellen: And I would assume the producers, because they want it to be good television, in situations, scenarios, and especially if there’s alcohol involved, people will say things and act in ways that they wouldn’t normally if they were sitting at home having juice and cereal.
Camille: I mean, off the camera, we tend to get along but I’m not going to say it’s just for the show because these are real things that are happening in our lives.
On the rumors that she is returning for the second season and details about her divorce…
Ellen: And so now, the rumors are that you’re quitting. That you’re not going to do it again.
Camille: We haven’t decided that yet. Right now, as everybody knows, I’m going through a divorce.
Ellen: Well, let me ask you about that. You said Kelsey wanted you to do this. So you got divorced while you were shooting?
Camille: I found out he wanted out of the relationship during the shooting.
Ellen: How did you find out? Did he tell you?
Camille: A mutual friend called me and said, “I don’t like what he’s doing to you and I don’t like the timing because you’re still in the middle of shooting a reality show.” And then I called him that night and texted him. No answer from him. I waited for three hours and then he called me and said, “I don’t want to be married anymore.”
Will she return for season 2? Find out after the jump! (more…)
